Chapter 536: Chapter 534: The Garrison

In fact, the secret technique was more prone to passive activation. Once his destiny underwent significant changes, premonitions regarding the twists of fate would erge, allowing him to have foreknowledge.

When the Town Fate Secret Technique was not activated, it would silently accumulate the Prophet’s Power.

“Spark was right, this truly is an incomparable treasure.”

At this mont, Ivan felt most profoundly, as the to was actually automatically cleansing him of negative energy, whether it was from the dragon-shaped black bugs or from that deer antler male in the Fairy World a long ti ago.

And those grievances he himself was not even aware of, unintentionally accumulated during his usual practice.

He could not help but feel astonished and shocked, inwardly exclaiming that he had indeed stumbled upon a treasure, and Tanaya could also be considered his lucky star.

...

Because he was engrossed in the Town Fate Secret Technique, Ivan had delayed a lot of ti, and many things had not been confird with the Supre Council. After he stepped out of the ditation room, Tanaya looked for him imdiately.

“Sorcerer Ivan, are you still choosing your territory?”

“Of course, I am.”

“Those magic puppet servants have co many tis, seeing as you’ve never co out, they’ve all gone back, notifying you to visit the Supre Council as soon as possible; there’s soone waiting for you there.”

“Okay, I’ll go right away.”

Ivan said this, but he still proceeded to review the territory information collected by Tanaya, skimd through it, and consulted on a few questions, before swiftly flying towards the Truth Hall above the Truth Peak.

This was his second visit to this small Floating City since becoming an Arcane Wizard.

The Supre Council was different from what all the lower-tier sorcerers had imagined, appearing sowhat old and rudintary. He felt a little disappointed when he saw the whole picture during his last visit.

This ti, he entered the Truth Hall in the center of the small city with ease.

“Sorry, it seems I’ve co at an inopportune ti.” Ivan walked in, only to discover that soone inside was reporting sothing to the King of Ten Thousand Woods, Gena Swinburne, and it seed that an argunt had broken out.

The Truth Hall was truly magical. Before he entered, he couldn’t see what was happening inside at all.

And outside the Truth Hall, there were no guards or servants, not even soone to announce visitors. The whole hall presented itself as if it was defenseless against arcane wizards.

“No matter, Wizard Fiaoqi has just finished speaking.”

As he prepared to withdraw, the King of Ten Thousand Woods, as if seeing a savior, waved him over.

Ivan did not want to get involved with their affairs, but now he could only walk over helplessly and gave a bow to the King of Ten Thousand Woods.

“Fiaoqi Winton, why aren’t you leaving?” The King of Ten Thousand Woods expressed to a certain person who lingered.

“If you do not grant my request, I shall not leave today,” Fiaoqi Winton did not care about the presence of another person and directly cried out.

“Do not be ridiculous. The Truth Crystal Ball really cannot be used as you wish.”

“It concerns the honor of my Winton family and the reputation of the King of Green Thunder. I—”

“Stop, stop, stop. I do not want to hear you repeat these words. I must emphasize once more that the Truth Crystal Ball does not have the capability to detect the affiliations of anyone, and the King of Green Thunder could not possibly betray in any form.

Instead of investigating properly yourself, you think of these unfounded thoughts. Are you worthy of the King of Green Thunder?”

Seeing him so uncooperative, the King of Ten Thousand Woods also got a bit angry, and his tone of speech inevitably beca more intense.

Fiaoqi, like a piece of rolling at, stood there silently, unwilling to leave the Truth Hall. This surprised Ivan, who was new to all this.

Ivan had heard from Hotter that one could speak freely in the Truth Hall and could be more casual in attitude.

He had not had a concrete concept before, but now he understood that one could indeed confront Void King sorcerers here; it really was a great place.

“Ivan, don’t bother with him, let’s talk about your matters. What did you co for?” The King of Ten Thousand Woods was so frustrated that even his thoughts were disturbed.

“Choosing a territory,” Ivan said.

“Right, we first need to arrange a territory for you. You choose it yourself.”

The King of Ten Thousand Woods casually swept his hand, and the vast map of the outer city appeared clearly in midair to his left, with all available locations marked out.

The map showed mountains, rivers, and forests clearly at a glance.

Ivan rely glanced at it once before raising his hand and making a mark on the map, denoting his chosen territory.

“Rainbow Forest? This location is near Tide Mist Rift; the region is rich in wood-type, water-type, and earth-type particles, but not in fire-type particles; it’s not really consistent with your status. Are you sure you want to choose this place?”

“I prefer to stay in the Golden Rock Tower atop the Truth Peak rather than concerning myself with the territory.”

“That sounds very pleasant to hear. I’ll decide for you, and allocate Tide Mist Rift to you as well, as a place for you to branch out and flourish.”

“Then I am very grateful to you.”

With just a few words between the two, they confird the scope of the territory, which was no less than that of a dium-to-large-sized nation, and with abundant resources on the land, only needing people to take over its managent.

“Next is your official arrangent.”

The King of Ten Thousand Woods glanced at Fiaoqi standing aside, but the latter showed no sign of leaving, so he had no choice but to continue: “Do you have any thoughts on this?”

“I am willing to follow whatever arrangents are made,” Ivan expressed.

An Arcane Wizard was such a significant force, and after joining the Supre Council, they naturally would not be left with nothing to do; they typically had their own exclusive duties and designated domains.

For instance, Philona was the City Lord of East Capital and her main duty was to oversee East Capital, taking care of the security of the eastern region of the Chanay Continent.

Hardy Charosi, added as the President of the Enchanters Guild Chanay branch, had the responsibility of inspecting all important runes sorcery arrays across the Chanay Continent, including those unknown to the outside world.

“In terms of your duties, there are several general arrangents. First, taking over as the City Lord of North Capital on the Chanay Continent; second, going to the Red Dragon Continent to await the Dragon Fla King’s tasks; third, heading to Sky Flow Valley to continue your unfinished research and further explore the Space Transmission Array.”

“Are there any less common arrangents?”

From the King of Ten Thousand Woods’ words, Ivan sensed another implication—the less common arrangents were probably the ones that those above were most hoping for.

“Yes.”

The King of Ten Thousand Woods nodded his head.

Ivan, understanding, gestured for him to continue.

“It is known that you have certain connections with the Dark Night Mother Goddess of the underground world, is that so?” The King of Ten Thousand Woods started inquiring.

“Yes, the relationship is a bit complicated.” Ivan hesitated slightly and truthfully replied, “How to say it, it seems that the goddess isn’t exactly fond of , especially recently, not very welcoming of going to the underworld.”

Hearing his words, the King of Ten Thousand Woods also paused, clearly not expecting such an answer.

This also prompted Fiaoqi on the side to take side glances, unable to help but look a few tis at Ivan, wondering how he had managed to get onto the bad side of the ancient Dark Night Mother Goddess.
