Yao Le'er's mood included a hint of jealousy, and Xu Bin knew his plan was working. A little stimulation was effective after all.

Yao Nan giggled and went upstairs to change. Xu Bin sat in the living room and lit a cigarette. Xiao Miaomiao plopped down next to him and said to Yao Le'er, "Jump Jump, your sister's husband is different from how you described him."
"What are you going to blabber about now?"
Yao Le'er, surprised, tried to stop her, but Xu Bin pulled her back, holding her waist so she couldn't escape. He teased, "Miaomiao, what has this little girl been saying about ?"
Yao Le'er panicked, realizing how compromising their position was. She ended up lying across Xu Bin's lap, trying to grab Xiao Miaomiao:
"Shut up, you gossip! I'll tear your mouth apart if you dare say anything."

Xu Bin understood their dynamic; Yao Le'er was the more dominant one, always in control. His impression of her as a shy, studious girl was wrong. Xiao Miaomiao was the more innocent and cute one.
Xu Bin was curious but saw Xiao Miaomiao's subtle signal, so he didn't press further.
Yao Nan ca downstairs in jeans and a short-sleeved shirt, looking fresh and clean. The little drama ended, and the four of them took a taxi to a small hotpot restaurant farther away. It wasn't a chain restaurant, so the decor was simple, but the food was cheap and good.

Things got even worse when Xu Bin returned with a box, placing it on the table.
"What's this?"
Yao Le'er leaned in to look.
Yao Nan opened it, laughing, "It's mustard-styled sheep intestine from a nearby shop. It's so good, and your sister's husband always buys it for ."
Yao Le'er and Xiao Miaomiao exchanged looks of disbelief, but Yao Nan enjoyed her food, her face radiating happiness.
After a satisfying al and so shopping, Xiao Miaomiao said she wanted to go ho. Her eyes flickered with a hidden ssage that Xu Bin understood.
What was a good wingman? Yao Nan volunteered, "Honey, why don't you take her ho? It's not safe for a girl to go alone."
Yao Le'er's eyes widened, but before she could protest, Xu Bin agreed, "Okay."
Yao Nan, being frugal, suggested using her small electric motorcycle. Xu Bin didn't mind and took the keys. Yao Le'er was anxious but couldn't say much, so she pulled Xiao Miaomiao aside to whisper warnings.
Xu Bin put on his helt and got on the electric motorcycle. Xiao Miaomiao sat behind him, laughing, "Sister, I'll co again next ti. Sister's husband takes out for big als, unlike Le'er, who's so stingy."
"I'm not stingy."
Yao Le'er, already nervous, snapped.
"You are. You take to seafood places but only order seaweed and fish balls made of starch. Last ti, you said it was the biggest chain, but it turned out to be Sand County snacks. For Cantonese food, you took to pork rice..."
"You're cheap, and you deceive people's feelings."
