As the two were yakking, Luo Xiu had already stepped into the set in front of the cara and the extras, too, were in position. The assistant director gave an "okay" gesture and Gu Nian walked into the cara, expressionlessly, as everybody looked on.
Luo Xiu, too, had noticed her. He cocked his head and looked over at her.
He didn't say anything, just masked his quizzical look with his tender eyes.
Gu Nian walked past the extras and stopped in front of Luo Xiu. This was the scene where Yun Tan t Ding Qiao, the female lead, in a club for the first ti in this life ti. Even the lighting had been adjusted to a suggestive dim.
Gu Nian's fists were clenched. Even under such dim lighting, it was still obvious that her body was tense, as though she was trying to avoid the caras behind her reflexively.
She looked very different than her normal languid self.
Gu Nian took a silent deep breath and slowly pressed those unpleasant mories of hers down to the deepest part of her mind. Then, looking up, she smiled at Luo Xiu and said, "Per the request of Assistant Director Lin, I am here to make so adjustnts to your look."

Gu Nian lifted up her hands and gestured over the air at him. "May I?"
"Go ahead."
Gu Nian felt a sense of relief.
She bent down and placed one of her arms on the back of the couch behind Luo Xiu. She lifted her hand and pinched the knot of his tie under his neck. She was familiar with how it worked so, after a slight hesitation, she pulled it downward reflexively.

Luo Xiu's eyes darkened and he looked up suddenly.
Unfortunately, Gu Nian so focused that she did not notice his look at all. After she had loosen up his tie, she leaned down from his side and started to unbuttoning those buttons on his shirt that were small, tight, and very difficult to undo.
Through the cara lens, with one of them standing and the other sitting, the bodies sowhat overlapping, they appeared exceptionally harmonious.
Geng Hongyu had been talking to so workers who were responsible for post-production and only glanced over at the cara from ti to ti. Suddenly, he was staring at the cara.
After a little while, he turned around. "Lao Lin."

Assistant Director Lin knew him well. This old-school director was about as stubborn as Gu Nian. He might not say anything out loud, but he had many ideas deep down inside.

When Gu Nian was finished with her adjustnt, she finally felt the gratification of an old mother.
