Qi Han was taken aback after he had processed the words.
It was obvious that he knew that friendship was important to her, and he had used that as leverage to back her into a corner.
Qi Han felt that the coldness could also be felt coming from the other end of the phone. He warned himself 10,000 tis in his mind to never offend this horrible person that he was talking to before he hung up the phone.
After sitting back down on the couch in the living room, Qi Han carefully presented his boss's idea.
Sure enough, Gu Nian, who was languid just a second ago, imdiately cooled down after she listened to the suggestion.
Poor little pitiful and fragile Qi Han shrank under Gu Nian's look.
Staring at each day for a few seconds, Gu Nian asked, "That was the idea of your general manager?"
Qi Han, "Ye, yes."
Gu Nian tightened her lips so and praised harmlessly, "No wonder he's the big boss, that is ruthless."
Qi Han, "……"
Their boss would be heartbroken if he heard that.
After a mont of silence, Qi Han mustered up his courage and asked, "So what are your thoughts, Screenwriter Gu?"
"I don't have any thoughts." Gu Nian didn't even think about it. "You are right that I will not turn it down. I do, however, have another suggestion – they can join the audition, but I want to forego my spot and join the audition with them."
"……?"
Qi Han was startled.
In light of his boss's plan to block off all of her other options, he didn't think there would still be this one. Even though this little girl had beco his evil dragon boss's target, she was a smart one. She just might be able to escape……
"Ding."
Qi Han's phone vibrated.
He looked down at his phone that he had yet to put away reflexively. On the screen that had lit up was a new ssage from their evil dragon boss. He only said one thing:
[I forgot to add. She might ask to join the audition herself. That is when you should bring up the other condition to her.]
"––? ? ?"
Was he really human?
Qi Han was teary eyed over his career future that was dood to be lood over by the shadow casted down from an evil dragon over his head.
He then looked up and looked at the little girl in front of him pitifully.
"Screenwriter Gu."
"Hmm?"
"I had forgotten to ntion earlier. All pre-selected screenwriters have a perk."
"What kind of a perk?"
"You can recomnd an actor of your choice. As long as they agree to it, they, too, will be able to be on our show for the entire duration."
"…………? !"

"I'll leave this contract behind then. Please feel free to reach at the number on my business card. You can just sign and send the contract back once you have decided."
Qi Han talked very fast and dashed out the door.
"Bye now. No need to see out!"
He even closed the door behind him on his way out.
After he had walked out of the apartnt of the three screenwriters, Qi Han quickly slipped into the elevator lobby. Once he was inside the elevator, he imdiately wiped away the sweat on his forehead.
Now that he was out of sight of those looks that could skin him alive, Qi Han felt that he had been revived.
"This is no job for a man." He grumbled to himself as he pressed down the button for the first floor.
After he was down on the first floor, walking out of the apartnt and towards his car, he could feel his cell phone vibrating in his bag.
Qi Han stopped and pulled his phone out. He looked like he was choking on the air when he saw the number that it was from.
He froze for a few seconds and finally picked up the phone. "Please tell you didn't even figure out that I had just stepped out."
The man on the other end smiled tenderly. "I just thought I'd give it a try."
Qi Han, "……"
"Did she accept?"
"She hadn't given an answer yet. She said she would think about it." Qi Han paused, then mumbled in a low voice, "You've already sched her to this extent, would she be able to turn it down?"
"You feel unjust for her?"
"––"
