Looking at the pair of brown eyes that looked to be born tender and sad, Gu Nian felt that her heart was about to lt. She asked imdiately, "But what?"

"Looking for ?" Gu Nian was taken aback a little and was imdiately alard. "Is he the kind who wished that you have no friends at all?"
Luo Xiu didn't say anything.
Gu Nian's heart ached. She didn't even think it through when she said, "It's fine. Don't worry. I won't listen to a thing that he said! Even if he wants to see , I won't even look over at him – I don't care who is on the other side, I will always, always be on your side!"
The emotions paused a little under Luo Xiu's eyes.
Like ripples stirred up by deceiving canvas, he let out a slight sigh in a little while and smiled, "Why do you trust so, Gu Nian?"

Gu Nian, still in the your-enemy-is-my-enemy ntality turned around and looked into a pair of very, very dark and lake-like eyes.

Being looked at intensely by the pair of eyes with disappointnt in them, she was about to give up in less than 3 seconds. Luckily, imdiately before she had lost all of her rationality, Gu Nian imdiately looked away and took a step back.
She couldn't help but smiled. "No, no, no. That's against the rules. I won't tell you right now."
Luo Xiu dropped the subject and also smiled. "Then when will you tell ?"
Gu Nian thought about it so, "Next year. It will be part of my birthday presents to you. What do you say?"
Luo Xiu shook his head, "That's too long into the future. I can't wait that long."
Gu Nian hesitated, "How about a different holiday then?"
"Okay, Dragon Boat Festival then."
"Alright…… Huh?" Gu Nian stopped herself just in ti. "Isn't Dragon Boat Festival today?"

Luo Xiu lowered his eyes and rubbed her on her head. "I'll wait for you to be ready."

Gu Nian stood there, dazed. Her cheeks started to turn pink slowly.
The atmosphere between the two were subtle and enchanting when a sudden voice abruptly sliced through the silence between the two of them ––
"Eh? Gu Nian? What are you doing on this floor?"
"!"
Gu Nian jumped away, startled, before she turned and looked into the direction the voice ca from.
Director Lin looked at the two with a smile as though he was enjoying so sort of drama. "Are you two rehearsing on the 7th floor at this hour?"
Gu Nian's cheeks that were only pink began to turn red. "I, I, I, I, ca to say goodbye to Mr. Luo Xiu!"
"Oh, is that so?"
Directly Lin had a do-you-think-I-bought-that look on him.
With her guilty conscience, Gu Nian quickly turned to look at Luo Xiu and said, "Well, I am taking off now. Our screenwriter team should be leaving shortly…… Perhaps we will run into each other in City K."
Looking at the longing and anticipating look in the girl's eye, Luo Xiu nodded, "Alright."
With her precious son's approval, Gu Nian's heart danced. With her discomfort from earlier along with the way that Director Lin was looking at the two of them, Gu Nian turned and ran without saying anything else.
