In the actors' and actresses' rest area next to the filming studio, Gu Nian's mind was far, far away as she stood looking at the two in the middle of the filming area with the script clutched in her hands.
Standing in the middle were Luo Xiu and Zong Shiyi and they were about to get to the final scene between Youtan and Ding Qiao except that they would skip over the intimate scene that was about half a minute long.
That was, of course, the part that Zong Shiyi had refused to do and Gu Nian would be substituting in for her.
This scene was the final scene of Demons.
Ding Qiao, after she had almost died, had regained her mories from her previous life. And Wang Wuya, the male lead, was in dire danger in order to save her.
By this point, Yuntan, who was already demonized, had already taken Ding Qiao back to his own place deep in the forest and locked her up in order to stop her from trying to go and save Wang Wuya.
The last scene was about to take place and would end with Youtan finally choosing to back out so the other two could be together.
The filming hadn't started officially yet and Geng Hongyu was explaining the scene to the two of them with a frown. Gu Nian was too far away to be able to hear what he was saying.
Truth was, she wasn't trying to listen to what he was saying either.
"What are you thinking?"
"I was thinking… since when did he stop referring to as Miss Gu…."
Gu Nian, as though sleep talking, paused and she turned around, alard. She saw Assistant Director Lin smiling at her.
Gu Nian lowered her eyes and said helplessly, "How do you just show up out of nowhere all the ti?"
"How can you bla when you were the one totally distracted looking at a handso boy?"
"When am I distracted looking at a handso boy?"
"There," said Assistant Director Lin as he lifted his chin. "Doesn't he count?"
"… …"
Gu Nian turned around.
In the final scene, Youtan brought Ding Qiao with her into the deep of the forest and returned to his look from his previous life.
The only difference was that, what used to be his long black hair with an odd white pinch had turned completely white-- --
It was the ultimate purity but it was freakishly charming with the blood red youtan flower painted on his forehead.
Under the youtan flower, the features on the delicate face were made like snow and jade by the light makeup. Those lips, deliberated made a lighter color, looked thin and cold, but so pretty that one couldn't resist but want to kiss.
"You are in a daze again?"
"… …"
Being brought back to reality by the teasing voice, Gu Nian replied, looking languid, "I was just now but I was pondering when you ca over."

Gu Nian did not want to engage with him about the different type of "likes" and how to differentiate between them. She blinked a couple tis and wiped away everything that he had said.
"Are you looking for for so important reasons?"
The girl stressed the work "important".
Assistant Director Lin overlooked that. "I am here to make sure that you are ready to go. You are up as soon as this scene with Zong Shiyi is over. Don't space out while staring at him after you are up. Director Geng will yell at you for sure then."
"I won't."
"You have the script morized yet?"
"There aren't that many lines and I wrote this myself. You are underestimating ."
"Who said to just morize that part? You need to have the ones before morized too." Assistant Director Lin's face dropped. "How can you get into Ding Qiao's mood if you don't commit the lines before that to mory?"
"… Am I not a body double without even a face shot? Why do I need to act?"
"Of course you do. Have you forgotten how demanding Director Geng is?"
Gu Nian, "… …"
She was still traumatized from the ti when Director Geng had pushed her down onto her son's lap. Even now, her old mother's heart would still be questioned in the middle of the night. How could she possibly forget that?
