The party lasted until 11 o'clock and that's when the others noticed that the host and the birthday boy were both gone.
When everybody was talking about where the two of them had gone to, Jiang Xiaoqing, who was left behind in the corner, raised her hand and said, "Mr. Luo had so other matters to attend to and Gu Nian went to call for a ride for him."
"The two of them left by themselves? That wasn't cool."
"They ca together and left together? What is going on between those two?"
"Aye, did you hear what i Jiating had said earlier? She said that Luo Xiu had …. Toward Gu Nian…"
The few of them had their heads touching each other's as they gossiped.
So of them were shocked. "What? No way that is true!"
"It's what i Jiating had said."
"But Screenwriter Gu has a boyfriend, no?"
"That can't be true. She must be joking."

The soft discussion leaked out of the window and dissipated into the night forest. The moon appeared behind the tallest tree and the bright moonlight lit up the small town's long, stretched-out path with its street lights.
In the middle of the road, a SUV drove past.
Inside of the car.
"You are the host. Is that bad that we left early?"
"It's fine," said Gu Nian withing even giving it a thought. "This is your birthday. Your happiness is the only thing that matters – Don't force yourself next ti. Just let know if you don't like sothing."
"But you have spent so much ti planning for today. I didn't want to disappoint you."
"… …"
Gu Nian's eyes were filled with tears.
How was a nice son who was so considerate for his mother even possible in this world?
Mom was so touched. Wuu wuu wuu.
As her motherly love grew inside of her, the driver had dropped off Luo Xiu and Gu Nian in front of the hotel.
When they arrived, the little assistant was pacing back and forth in the lobby of the hotel, looking like he had been waiting there anxiously for quite a while.
As soon as Zhu Hanyu saw Luo Xiu walking into the lobby, he ran up to Luo Xiu and looked him up and down. "Screenwriter Gu didn't co back with you?"
"She needed to tell the driver sothing. She will be coming in a mont."
Alard, Zhu Hanyu imdiately glanced over at the glass door before he leaned over and whispered to Luo Xiu, "You didn't lose that, did you?"
Luo Xiu lowered his eyes and looked at him, "Lose what?"
"Your virg*nity, of course."
Luo Xiu was taken aback a little, "No."
"… why did you look so disappointed about that?"
Luo Xiu smiled nonchalantly, "Is it that obvious?"
"--- ---?!"
The little assistant was so shocked that even his nostrils had widened.
Luo Xiu looked back over and snickered. "I won't say disappointed. I wouldn't like things to go that fast anyway."
The little assistant barely regained himself and said, "Oh, good. It looks like that bad woman did not steal all of your soul. You were still able to turn her down."
"I didn't turn her down."
"?"
"She never made a move."
"… …"
After a few seconds of hesitation, the little assistant asked cautiously, "So she is going to follow through with it tonight?"
Luo Xiu thought about it for a little and replied in a casual manner, "That's up to her."
The little assistant, "… …"
The little assistant wiped his face and asked expressionlessly, "So you were feeling regretful and disappointed earlier then?"
"Just surprised."
"Don't be surprised. She, she, she was definitely playing hard to get with you!"
"Is that so?"
"That is certainly so. Look, first you said you didn't like the pace but then you were disappointed that she didn't follow through! Isn't that the best playing hard to get that you have ever seen?"
When the little assistant looked up after he was done talking, he finally noticed the gentle smile on Luo Xiu. There was no surprise in his eyes at all. Apparently, everything that he could think of, Luo Xiu had already thought of the second that it happened.
And even so, he still looked so willing…
The little assistant shuddered all of a sudden. "Brother Luo, you have said that you didn't like the pace. Do you like soone playing hard to get then?"
"No, not really." Luo Xiu turned around and looked at the slender body through the glass door. His lips curved upward a little and he said, "A month is too short. I don't have ti for playing hard to get."
