The eagle was taken aback and silently put the extra handgun back into the box.

"An Zai stays below to provide support, we’ll go up and catch them."

After issuing the instructions, Brother Quan turned to Zheng Lin beside him, "Instructor, is there anything else we need to add?"

Yes, this seemingly unassuming butler was actually the forr instructor of Brother Quan and the others, specializing in close combat and martial arts.

Zheng Lin shook his head: "Nothing, let’s go."

Brother Quan made a gesture, and the group silently got out of the car and quietly approached the fire escape at the back of the apartnt building.

Zheng Lin followed at the end, his walking posture sowhat unique, landing very lightly.

The safe house is on the third floor.

According to the rough information provided by Greenfield, there are about three to four guards here. They are not governnt special agents but so private hirelings.

Just like those two who had previously followed Greenfield to Guatemala.

The eagle and An Zai first reached the corridor entrance, sticking close to the wall and peering inside. There were a total of four rooms on this floor, and the safe house was the last room, 304.

From the outside, it looked no different from regular accommodations, but actually, there was a pinhole cara hidden in the ventilation fan at the end of the corridor, which could clearly observe the situation inside the corridor.

However, Brother Quan and the others were unaware of this, and Greenfield had never been to this safe house. After Barnes was brought back, he was handed over to people arranged by Hakeem. He only knew that soone was being held here.

An Zai took a glance, then made a gesture, the others quickly closed in. Once at the door of 304, Brother Quan raised his hand and shot ’biubiu’ twice at the door lock.

The silenced Glock 17 emitted two light pops, breaking the lock.

Then he kicked the door hard.

"Bang!" A muffled thud.

The door panel at the lock position was smashed, but the door didn’t open!

Inside the wooden door, there was another door, a heavy tal security door!

"Damn!" Brother Quan cursed under his breath, "Grenade!"

Originally not wanting to create a big commotion, but the situation suddenly changed, leaving no choice.

Upon hearing this, An Zai quickly approached from the corridor entrance, took a grenade from his pocket, while the others backed away outside.

After pulling the pin, An Zai ntally counted a few numbers, then rolled it along the ground towards the doorway of 304.

The grenade rolled to the bottom of the tal door, followed by a resounding "boom!" The piercing explosion reverberated through the narrow corridor, a strong shockwave trembling through the entire floor, dust cascading down.

The tal security door was severely deford, creating a big dent inward.

Ignoring the ringing in his ears, An Zai quickly got up from the ground, ran to the door of 304, and kicked the deford tal door hard again.

Finally, the door couldn’t withstand it any longer and fell backward with a clang.

In the midst of swirling dust, Brother Quan was the first to rush in, his gun barrel scanning the area.

It was a large open living room, the area near the door was in disarray, but inside the room, there was no one, only the overhead dim light still slightly swaying.

Behind him, the eagle advanced simultaneously, charging towards the tightly shut bedroom door on the right, while An Zai and the others cautiously aid their gun barrels toward the direction of the kitchen and bathroom on the left.

"No one!"

After searching, surprisingly, there was no one in all the rooms!

Could the intel be wrong?

But that security door they just encountered, and the monitoring screen on the desk to the right, all confird that this was indeed the safe house.

Brother Quan withdrew his gaze from outside the window, not spotting any targets, and there was Xiao Wu guarding below. If anyone escaped through the window, he would have alerted them.

At this mont, the eagle touched the coffee cup on the table: "It’s still hot!"

"Did we co too late? Did they receive a tip and leave early?" An Zai asked doubtfully.

"Everyone be quiet!" Zheng Lin, who had been silent all this ti, suddenly raised his hand.

He moved his ears as if he was capturing so subtle sound.

Moving his steps, he went all the way to the bedroom, his eyes slowly scanning, finally resting on the large painting on the wall.

Zheng Lin walked to the painting and tore the canvas away, revealing a squared-off seam in the gray wall.

"There’s a secret door here! Keep soone guarding next door!"

Brother Quan imdiately realized, the secret door likely led to room 303 next door or other rooms! He swiftly signaled to An Zai.

An Zai nodded, promptly turned and rushed out of 304, into the corridor, cautiously pointing his gun at the other room doors along the corridor.

With such a loud grenade blast monts ago, none of the neighbors ca out to check or made any sound, which was highly irregular.

Perhaps the entire floor is a safehouse.

Inside room 304’s bedroom, Brother Quan and Zheng Lin quickly searched for a switch along the edges of the secret door.

The secret door was tightly fitted, and the switch was well concealed.

"Move aside!"

Zheng Lin commanded lowly, stopped searching for a switch, sidestepped, shouldered against one side of the secret door, his muscles suddenly tensed, and exerted force!

"Boom!"

The wall was directly smashed open by brute force, dust swirling!

"There’s soone!" the eagle growled, imdiately raising his gun, firing the mont Zheng Lin stepped aside.

Biubiu—!

Bullets pierced through the swirling dust, shot into the room behind the secret door, followed by a muffled grunt and the sound of sothing falling inside.

Brother Quan and Zheng Lin rushed in one after the other!

Behind the secret door was a room practically identical to 304’s bedroom, the two rooms were connected.

No wonder there was no one found in 304; surely they had noticed Brother Quan and the others through surveillance and swiftly evacuated through the secret door to 303.

Earlier, the eagle’s bullets had struck a guard preparing to ambush them, now clutching his shoulder, moaning in a pool of blood.

On the opposite side of the room, there were two more guards, who imdiately opened fire the instant Brother Quan and Zheng Lin appeared.

"Bang bang bang!"

Gunfire exploded in the room.

Brother Quan quickly rolled forward, evading the shots.

Just as he ducked behind a wall, about to position himself for fire, he saw Zheng Lin already glide to the side of the guard on the left, his right hand sliced through, a cold flash glead.

The guard’s eyes widened, horror etched upon his face, a thin red line appeared across his throat, soon followed by a gush of blood, his body slackened and fell.

The gun in his hand also clattered onto the floor.

The other guard was montarily stunned by the sudden turn of events, his gun instinctively turning toward Zheng Lin.

Just that brief mont of hesitation!

Zheng Lin moved, his right hand flung towards the ard guard.

"Whoosh!"

A cold flash appeared once more.

It was a uniquely shaped dagger, slender, with a black blade. It flew from Zheng Lin’s hand with a speed indiscernible to the naked eye, precisely embedding into the guard’s forehead.

The guard’s expression froze instantly, his body stiffened, then collapsed backward with a thud.

The gunfire ceased, the room left only with the stench of blood and the painful groans of the first guard.

In monts like this, there’s no right or wrong, it’s rely opposing stands; if you don’t deal with them, they’ll deal with you.

The eagle followed from behind, rcifully putting the opponent out of their misery.

Watching Zheng Lin’s hand just now had left him greatly astonished.

Within seven steps, his gun was definitely slower than Zheng Lin’s dagger.

No wonder he qualified as Brother Quan’s instructor.

The three of them wasted no ti, quickly searched the room, finding Barnes in the bedroom.

The earlier commotion had frightened him considerably, his face as pale as paper, sitting limp on the floor, body trembling uncontrollably.

"Let’s go!"

Brother Quan grabbed Barnes by the collar and pulled him up, swiftly leaving the scene.

From the mont they entered to the ti they departed, the entire operation took less than five minutes.

Inside the hotel, Fu Wentao, who had been waiting for news, put down his phone, turned to Hans beside him who was yawning and said, "There’s been an incident, the Democratic Party probably won’t let this slide easily. Arrange to hide him in the factory for now."

"Alright." Hans nodded.

The Siens Factory is located worldwide, hiding soone in there would be difficult even for the FBI to find, besides, without solid evidence, even the senior managent wouldn’t agree to a search.
