No guards waiting for them on the porch, so they dashed to the new elevator. "Do you know how this works?" Akira asked.

Hitori used Explosion to press the elevator's touchpad, and it worked. He broke the touchpad in the process though. Fine. not like they have to take that elevator again.

By the ti they reached, the elevator opened– he was surprised why Onogi had not cut the connection to the elevator.

Hitori jumped inside the elevator and let Akira inside. "You sure he won't cut the elevator and crush us the sa way you crushed his guys?"

"Are you a spy?" Hitori asked as he punched the top button on the elevator.

"Do not press anything! Do you even know how it works?"

Hitori shrugged as the door closed and the elevator started. "I take action, I will take us out of this situation– if it gets bad, that is."

The elevator took them to the first floor and… stopped with turbulence. Hitori held onto the railing on the side. "Shit, we need to get out."

The door opened and Hitori stepped out of the elevator. Akira drew his wand and followed Hitori out.

Hitori saw a few guards coming in from the turning at the end of the hallway. Hitori took cover by the wall and Akira on the other side.

Then ca a ball rolling on the floor, before they could find what it is, smoke filled the hallway. Hitori and Akira covered their faces and started coughing.

Hitori squatted and tried to see through the fog, but it was hurting his eyes. His ears were alright, cause he heard the firing.

Hitori swung his wand, trying to create a blow of wind strong enough to blow the smoke away. But to no extent. He had to create a shield to block the bullets.

"Hitori!" Akira shouted. " Focus on their footsteps, you can hear them!"

"Duck. Just stay down and try to crawl towards the elevator."

"W-What are you planning?"

"Sothing robust." Hitori, with his eyes closed, stepped forward and pointed his wand straight ahead. "Hyper Beam!"

A strong force of water exerted under high pressure blew through the smoke. He heard the banging sounds but was not sure if the Hyber Beam was enough to pierce through their suits.

Hitori charged forward and tried to open his eyes, but that was a bad idea. "Akira, are you okay?"

"Totally fine, bro!"

So Hitori was clear to fire the flathrower. The fire ranged through the smoke-filled halfway and struck the guards.

Their fire-proof suits were a perfect counter, but the fire intensified the smoke and blinded them.

Hitori felt that it was working since the guards were shouting at each other to do sothing about the fire. "Lend a hand here. Let us give them a mixture of hot and cold."

Akira had crawled to the elevator, and he could not do the mistake of aiming into the wild and opening his eyes. "Buy so ti."

"I am running out, I need a second!"

"Give a second!"

In the midst of the chaos, Htiroi felt sothing creep toward him. The next mont, he felt a hand over his face. He panicked, startled, and jumped back with a shriek.

He heard a familiar voice say, "Good work hanging there. Leave this to ."

Hitori rembered he could not open his eyes, but he tried. And on the way to trying, he felt a strong force of air sucking his face in.

"Kyo-san!" Akira said, "Kyo-san!"

Hitori had nothing to do with this Kyo-san, the sucking pressure was irritating him. He reached out to grab his face but found a mask on his face. He opened his eyes on instinct and prepared for the consequence.

He saw the smoke in front of him instead of the burning pain he should have felt. He saw a man he had seen before taking the lead and raised his hands.

He was not wielding a wand. He created a force of air strong enough to blow everything and EVERYONE with his bare hands.

Akira threw a hand over him as he caught up from behind. "He is Kyo-san, my uncle."

Hitori was confused and lost, so he decided to leave that for later. "Where is—"

"Right here!" Eya shouted, "are you okay?" She raced to Hitori from the staircase.

Hitori was relieved. From behind ca Kakashi who was wearing a frown, he eyed Hitori. "You need to think twice before taking action. If you are involving us, then at least talk to us about it before just doing it!" he blurted.

Hitori took that in a positive way and turned to Eya. She was glancing between Kyoryu and the guards, almost every guard was dead.

Then she turned to him and asked, "Anything about Onogi or Reon yet?"

Hitori shook his head. "He is waiting for though," he said, "and I know where."

Last ti, it was his office. This ti it might be so bedroom. Kyoryu returned after clearing the way.

He stood opposite them. "We should finish this. I an, unless they have a supervillain, I am out."

That worried Hitori. "Onogi's father. Yes, wait till you see him."

Kyoryu looked at Hitori. Were those tears that Hitori saw in Kyoryu's eyes?

Why is this man always crying every ti I et him? Hitori thought with a frown.

"Where is he? Do you know where he is?"

"Let us go inside and check—"

Before Hitori could complete, a low, grumpy voice warned them. "What do you think you are doing entering my house, killing my n, and roaming without my permission?"

Hitori raised his eyes as he saw a tallic hand erupt from the smoke and loom over Kyoryu. "Hey! Watch out!" he shouted as he raised his wand.

Sothing flashed as if soone played Kyoryu's actions at a 10x speed. "Hm… is this the man you were talking about, Hitori? It is disappointing."

Hitori felt his heart jump and his blood pressure rising. Kyoryu was holding Kamino's tallic hand.

"W-When did you even… do it?"
