Other volunteers entered the courtyard one of which was Mono, but he was not alone.

He was laughing with his group, he gave hi-fi to one of the students. Then he spotted Hitor little in the corner.

The group paused laughing when they found Mono looking at Hitori.

"Do we have to do it together with their group again?" a girl said with disgust reflecting on her face.

"He looks so gloomy. No wonder he is alone. You should stop accompanying him," said another girl.

"You will lose your popularity…"

"I will lose it only if I have it," he said and walked towards him.

Hitori got up and adjusted his clothes. "You don't have to do it, Mono," he said, "not for the sake of doing it."

Mono stopped when he was a foot away. "I think you should mix with people and get social, you know…"

Hitori shook his head. "I don't. I am an introvert," he said.

"Oh… alright. But today is the last day, so I want you to give so company." Mono smiled.

The door opened once again and this ti it was Hitori's group. He ignored the bully and his sidekick, the first guy he saw was the need at the back of the queue.

He turned to Mono and sighed. "Alright. I needed a guide myself. I don't know anything other than the restaurant and the Vr-cade."

Mono chuckled. "Fair enough. Co on." He turned to his group, they were upset with Mono's decision but he convinced his group to co-operate sohow.

Hitori saw his group waiting for him near a tree in the middle of the courtyard.

So were glaring at the guys from Mono's group and the bully was glaring at him, but his eyes were on the nerd.

"Can we get moving?" Hitori heard soone complain from his group, he did not bother about her.

Mono called Hitori. He looked at Mono and nodded. He thought sothing was wrong with the nerd– he felt like he had known the nerd forever.

Hitori directed his group to gather around and follow Mono's group. His group mbers were angry when they were told to follow so other group.

"You want us to follow them? Why are you here for then?"

"So you want to follow now?" Hitori said, getting behind Mono.

"You are our guide, you should tour us around alone. Why do we have to team up with so stupid nerds?"

Hitori did not notice but that word from a girl triggered anger. They were sort of growling at his group.

But Hitori replied with a calm head, "Because I am a nerd who spent all of his ti in the Vr-cade," he turned to them, "and since does not know anything about the campus."

They were surprised. The girl who was angry hesitated to say anything, even the bully's eyes were wide.

"How am I supposed to guide you through the campus when I need a guide myself?"

"What the…" a girl groaned.

"Damn, I need to file a complaint about you," said the bully. Hitori looked at him and shrugged.

"Do it if you want to, I am not going to be a volunteer next year. This sucks, to be honest, it is a waste of ti in a busy life. A total distraction," Hitori said.

A guy behind the bully put a hand over his shoulder. "We should get going before that guy starts rambling about his 'sad life' and this turns into a philosophy class."

"Right…" The bully stepped forward and looked at Hitori. "Can we move? The campus is too big and we have only four hours before lunch."

Mono spoke before Hitori could. He started his tour and took his group to the Arena, the place where battles took place, then they went to the dressing rooms, the restaurant, the lounge, and now they were on their way to the Training Arena.

It was an empty area with glass enchanted with anti-breaking enchantnt that keep them strong. No audience is allowed while the students are training, only the teachers and their trainers can watch the training from the Glass View.

Things get wrong many tis while they are training. Their spells get out of the hand, so might hit the audience, or so mages might just lose it while training.

So the wizards decided to maintain a strict policy against the training area. Only a few selected teachers will be present on the field udring the training. And only seven students were allowed to enter the two-acre Training Arena at once.

Right now, the field was empty. The side was pavented with rocks– implenting the area to walk on. It was a huge rectangle pavent. Green grass was sprouting on the ground while the mud was dry.

Hitori was leading the group to the other side of the arena while Mono was touring his group the entry and exit of the ground. Well, Hitori was not really paying attention to his group.

While Hitori was admiring the beauty of the courtyard-like Training Arena, he heard a guy say, "Did you had fun training here? I love it here, I will try to co here everyday!"

Hitori glanced at him, then looked at the glass on the side. "Oh, this is my first ti here. I have not trained here before, so… I can't tell you if I had fun or not."

That ruined it for the guy. His face dropped and his was disappointed. "Just what the heck did you do all year? I an, even the first year of the academy!"

Well, Hitori was weak during the first year. He could barely light a bunch of sticks on fire. So he skipped every training lesson during the first year. Instead, he focused on doing nerdy stuff.

He was thinking of an answer since the guy was still staring at him when he heard soone shout. It was a familiar shout and a shout he had heard before.

Hitori swung his head and saw the nerd lying on the ground with the bully over him. What the god… Hitori pushed the guy in front of him away and walked past through the crowd.

"Hey! What the hell are you doing?" Hitori shouted, but the bully refused to hear him.

He raised his fist and landed it in the nerd's face. It cracked his nose and blood dripped like a broken tap.

Hitori gulped, then he clenched his jaw. "I told you to hand your fucking money!" the bully shouted.

And Hitori saw a flash of a boy wearing glasses slipping off his nose and wearing a terrified expression on his face.

Oh, I would not let it happen again. Hitori swung his hand and grabbed his wand on the side, he drew it and said, "You made do this, bastard."
