"Your injury?"

Looking at the bloodstains on Wang Junze, Su Yuwei softly inquired.

"It's nothing, just superficial wounds."

Shaking his head, Wang Junze replied gently.

After a brief mont of thought, Su Yuwei understood. She had been too worried to think clearly; otherwise, she would have realized that with Wang Junze's strength, an ordinary Entering the Path couldn't possibly hurt him.

"Is it worth it?"

Sighing, Su Yuwei looked into Wang Junze's eyes and said, "I didn't dare refuse the marriage initially, and now you're repeatedly risking your life. Wang Junze... I'm not worth such sacrifices from you."

"You deserve the best in this world."

With a slight upward curve of his mouth, Wang Junze smiled and said, "And I am the best in this world."

"???

Are you complinting with that statent?

Even though Su Yuwei had always been cool and aloof, she couldn't help but roll her eyes at this. Her earlier feelings of sadness instantly vanished.

"Before, you were Princess Changlin, and I was just a Martial Artist barely embarking on the path of cultivation. I couldn't alleviate any of your burdens, but now... I have enough power to directly oppose Prince Yu."

A trace of tenderness appeared in Wang Junze's eyes as he continued, "Su Yuwei, this ti I won't back down, and... I will definitely win!"

These words imdiately brought tears to Su Yuwei's eyes.

Back then, her refusal of Wang Junze and acceptance of the marriage wasn't because she disdained Wang Junze's lack of power or status, or because she craved power and position. It was mainly because this marriage involved many complications and could provoke serious trouble. A significant part of her concern was that Prince Yu's resentnt might result in Wang Junze losing his life unjustly.

After all, at that ti, Wang Junze wouldn't have been able to withstand Prince Yu's wrath.

With a slight opening of his arms, Wang Junze embraced Su Yuwei.

"When will you act?"

Su Yuwei asked softly.

"On the wedding day." After a mont of silence, Wang Junze said with so guilt, "But it might have to wait until the ceremony is completed, and Your Majesty and the Empress have returned to the palace... Only then can I be more confident."

Frankly speaking, Wang Junze would also prefer to kill Prince Yu before the wedding to rightfully prevent it, but with his current strength, it simply wasn't feasible.

This naturally made him feel sowhat guilty towards Su Yuwei.

"It's just a false reputation. If you don't care, why should I?"

Su Yuwei smiled as she touched Wang Junze's eyes and said, "If we succeed, this will be our wedding; if we fail... I'll go with you to the Netherworld. In life or death, there's nothing regrettable."

"Alright!"

Wang Junze did not try to dissuade Su Yuwei from getting involved but agreed decisively.

This was also a sign of his respect for Su Yuwei.

"Are you two done with your whispers?"

A mont later, Eldest Princess Ningyu walked out of the room with a teasing smile on her lips.

Blushing, Su Yuwei quickly pushed Wang Junze away.

Wang Junze, however, wasn't the least bit embarrassed and looked at Eldest Princess Ningyu, saying, "Should the Eldest Princess not mind, I could say it openly."

"Pfft!"

With a light scoff, Eldest Princess Ningyu replied irritably, "Your shalessness surpasses your capabilities by miles."

With a smile, Wang Junze then bowed and said solemnly, "Thank you for your assistance, Eldest Princess."

"It's getting late, you should head back."

Shaking her head, Eldest Princess Ningyu softly replied, "It's ti for us two to have a woman-to-woman chat."

Even with all the preparations and cover, Wang Junze's prolonged presence here was too risky, prompting Eldest Princess Ningyu to offer a tily reminder.

Understanding this, Wang Junze bowed once more and then turned and left.

After Wang Junze left, Eldest Princess Ningyu sat down in the nearby pavilion, taking Su Yuwei's hand, and said, "Sotis, I'm really envious of you, having soone willing to give everything for you."

"The way you feel about Li Shang Sword Venerable is sothing I admire; you have more courage than I do."

Su Yuwei remarked, looking at Eldest Princess Ningyu.

"It's different."

With a sigh, Eldest Princess Ningyu said, "Between you and him, it's a love where both are willing to give everything, but between him and , it's more about mutual guilt and an inability to face each other... I even wonder if the person he truly loves is ."

"You two?"

Slightly taken aback, Su Yuwei looked at her, confused.

The affairs between Li Shang Sword Venerable and Eldest Princess Ningyu were sothing she knew little about, only aware that they had shared a relationship that unfortunately ended unresolved.

"When I t him, there was another woman by his side. The three of us were very good friends, and she and I both knew deep down that we liked Qu Lishang, but none of us revealed it."

Eldest Princess Ningyu softly explained, "Back then, we drank and explored the world together... until we ventured into that Ancient Secret Realm."

"I was the one who insisted on entering the Secret Realm, but in the end... she perished within it. She sacrificed herself to give us a chance to escape. It's the greatest wound between Qu Lishang and , an insurmountable mountain that stands between us."

"...."

This was the first ti Su Yuwei learned the hidden details from back then. She wanted to offer comfort but found herself at a loss for words.

"Let's not talk about it anymore."

Patting Su Yuwei's hand, Eldest Princess Ningyu smiled and said, "In fact, I shouldn't be helping you, considering... Prince Yu is my nephew. But firstly, I don't like him, and secondly, because of Qu Lishang, I can't help but favor Wang Junze."

"Wang Junze was right, Prince Yu is indeed unworthy of you."

Shaking her head, Eldest Princess Ningyu continued, "If you need my help with anything, feel free to tell . Since I've chosen to assist you, I'll see it through to the end."

"Thank you, Eldest Princess."

...

Fan Building!

When Wang Junze returned to Fan Building again, it was already late at night. Jing Yuan and the others were guarding the place, partly to await news from Wang Junze, and partly to prevent others from finding out about Wang Junze's departure.

"How did it go?"

Jing Yuan asked straightforwardly as he looked at Wang Junze.

"Everything is proceeding as planned!"

With a smile on his face, Wang Junze answered softly.

This response relieved Jing Yuan, knowing that with Princess Changlin willing to cooperate with Wang Junze, their chances would be heightened, justifying his earnest efforts in strategizing for Wang Junze.

"How are things on your end?"

Before leaving, Wang Junze had left Fan Building in a rush, not even waiting for the battle outside to conclude.

"Don't worry, everything is under control! But you must be ready... Prince Yu's retaliation is coming soon."
