The Judgnt Departnt’s Residence.
The battle across the tavern had just ended when news was relayed back. Xu Zhengdong casually crushed the token, raised an eyebrow slightly, and snorted coldly with disdain, "What fools, taking so long and still unable to take down a single Void Shattering, being humiliated by a re Household, truly useless!"
"It’s not necessarily that Prince Yu’s n are incompetent. This Wang Junze... is quite peculiar! It seems the news from the Nether Sea might not be exaggerated after all."
Shaking his head, the Deputy Commander Zhang Yuqiao chid in, "Moreover, this matter might not be over yet. Prince Yu is determined this ti, and it seems he’s already arranged everyone outside Licheng, ready to go all in, silencing any witness."
"Who cares, we’ve given Prince Yu enough face; whether they kill Wang Junze or not, that’s their business, it has nothing to do with us."
Xu Zhengdong replied full of contempt.
"It’s just as well that they didn’t die in Licheng, otherwise if Yin Guangling holds us responsible, it’ll be troubleso." Zhang Yuqiao echoed.
Yet, as the two were talking, an official from the Judgnt Departnt suddenly entered from outside to report: "Sir, there’s soone outside claiming to be Inspector Wang Junze of our departnt, requesting an audience with you!"
"What did you say?"
Upon hearing the official’s words, Xu Zhengdong’s face showed a hint of shock, incredulously asking back.
"Sir, Household Wang Xin brought him here, our people couldn’t just turn them away, so they had to let them into the residence first." The official helplessly explained again.
If Wang Junze had co alone, without anything to prove his identity, the people of the Judgnt Departnt could naturally turn him away. But Wang Xin was a bona fide Household, even if Xu Zhengdong didn’t want to et him, there was no reason not to let Wang Xin into the residence.
"What does he want?"
Showing a hint of hesitation in his eyes, Xu Zhengdong couldn’t help but glance at Zhang Yuqiao, as if to say Wang Junze was indeed quite peculiar!

With an indifferent expression, Xu Zhengdong replied directly.

Wang Xin imdiately wanted to speak, but before he could, Xu Zhengdong interrupted: "Presumptuous, you’re just a small Household. Without my permission, who gave you the nerve to interrupt?"

Even though the spearhead was broken, the weapon’s aura was still present. Both naturally recognized it as the Godslaying Spear stolen by Dugu Feng.
This Godslaying Spear was the best evidence of killing Dugu Feng!
"You have quite the nerve; aren’t you afraid I’ll kill you and steal your credit?"
Narrowing his eyes slightly, Zhang Yuqiao suddenly spoke.
Wang Junze, though strong, was ultimately just a Void Shattering, while Zhang Yuqiao and Xu Zhengdong were both of the Dao Entrance Realm!

Wang Junze suddenly asked.

In an instant, both Xu Zhengdong and Zhang Yuqiao were stunned.
They couldn’t claim the credit for killing Dugu Feng, but if Wang Junze were pursued and they escorted him to the Capital City, it would count as an achievent as well.

Pausing for a mont, Wang Junze continued, "Though our sect suffered great losses in the battle at the Northern Domain, as long as my master lives, our sect remains one of the Four Great Celestial Sects!"
"Allowing Prince Yu’s n to kill offers no benefit to either of you, for surely... the Judgnt Departnt cannot get too close to a Prince!"
"Yet if I live, I will undoubtedly rember today’s favor!"
