Before we could return to our reality and our bodies, I had to make sure my goddess powers were safe. One day, I hoped the Sasha of this reality would be strong enough and in a positive enough place that she could take them on.
I went to Queen Lena, who still hadn’t left her son’s side after the near sacrifice.
“Lena, I need your help with sothing important.”
She sighed and slowly pulled away from the sleeping prince. I hated disturbing her while she looked after her son, but Lucas and I had to get back.
“What is it?” Lena whispered in the doorway of the prince’s room.
“Lucas and I need to get going. Now that you and Xander have control again, you’ll be able to bring balance back.”
“Xander is already working on it,” she nodded.
“Before we go, I want to make sure my goddess powers are safe. We need a new staff, one that isn’t poisoned by Morianne, for to seal them away.”
Lena frowned slightly. She wrung her hands together. “Do you intend to leave those powers here?”
I nodded. “I made a deal with the Night God. When the Sasha of this reality is ready, those powers will belong to her.”
“Alright.”
Lena and I went into the palace gardens and collected sacred branches from an ancient, holy tree that had grown there for centuries. I watched as Lena whispered a small prayer to the tree before cutting the branch.
Back in the palace, she dug around in her study, finding several chunks of different-sized and colored crystals, similar to the one Morianne used to trap my powers.
“Which crystal do you want to use?” She spread her arms over the four options.
“Why are you asking ?”
“This is for your power. You should choose a crystal that resonates with you.”
I put my hands over the crystals and tried to feel whether any of them had the sa feeling as the orbs. When my fingers brushed over the purple crystal, I felt a jolt.

Lena took the crystal and the stick and quickly bound them together, then handed the new staff to . Lena held her hands over the staff and started speaking in a strange language. The purple crystal glowed bright and the staff vibrated in my hands.
Just when I thought it would vibrate out of my grasp, it stopped and the crystal’s glow faded.
“You can seal your powers in the staff now. I will keep it safe here in the palace vaults until the Sasha of this world is ready for them.”
I thanked her and she left to seal my powers away. I closed my eyes and gripped the staff, imagining my powers drain into them.
Slowly, I felt the energy transfer from to the staff.
I took a deep breath and steadied myself. The power transfer made feel weak and tired, but I was glad that the intense goddess powers weren’t coursing through anymore.
Lucas and I joined the other Lucas, Lena, and Xander in the throne room. Lena handed the two orbs.
“Are you two ready? You’ll be switching into your original bodies,” she reminded .
I glanced at my Lucas. He smirked and nodded.
“We are more than ready,” Lucas assured.
I held the orbs tightly and Lucas put his arms around . He pressed his forehead to mine and kissed the tip of my nose.
“You can do this, Sasha,” he assured.
“What if I ss up again?”
“You won’t. I have faith in you. Let’s go ho, to our bodies, and to our son.”
I nodded and closed my eyes. It was ti. I opened the orbs with my powers. This ti I knew what to look for, and I easily found our reality.
With a flash, Lucas and I were standing in the throne room in the palace, still holding each other. No one else was there.

I nodded. “I agree. But I’m glad we’re back in our own bodies and our own reality.” I sighed heavily and snuggled closer to Lucas. “Okay, so we’ll have a big house in the country and five kids running around.”
“I like the sound of that. I’ll commute to the capital for work,” Lucas said excitedly.
“And I’ll work part-ti on the bridge project and stay ho with the kids the rest of the ti.”
