Seeing Phoebe sneak a glance at Lucian's reaction after speaking, Zani knew this little priestess was done for.

Rover, noticing Phoebe's state, darkened her expression.

"Miss Zani, you said earlier you'd work for us."

"Now, besides finding the Sentinel, you have one more task."

"That's to help Priestess Phoebe establish a proper view of love!"

Zani squinted, feeling a bit exasperated.

"Miss Rover, is it possible… I've never been in love myself?"

"But… since I'm your guard and guide, I'll do my best to fulfill your requests."

"However, with sothing like this, I can't guarantee the outco."

Rover shook her head. "No matter. Regardless, I think we have a duty to help Miss Priestess get back on track."

Phoebe felt incredibly shy. "Ugh…"

Could the romance novels she'd read really be wrong?

But she genuinely hadn't felt repulsed by Mr. Lucian's actions…

In fact, facing his gaze, she even felt an urge to throw herself into his arms…

Thinking of this, Phoebe covered her face in embarrassnt, unable to face the others.

Rover was at a loss for words. Was she strategizing against herself in her head?

Lucian coughed lightly. "Miss Zani, you're my guard and guide too, right?"

Zani: "…Correct."

Lucian chuckled. "Then you have one more task now."

"That task is to help Priestess Phoebe fall in love with !"

Zani sighed. This was, without a doubt, the hardest task she'd ever faced.

Other tasks, no matter how dangerous, could be accomplished with care.

But these two tasks? How was she supposed to handle them?

Help Phoebe establish a proper view of love and make her fall for the God of Universal Love?

What, was she supposed to split her brain in two?

Zani made a decision that went against her principles. "Mr. Lucian, with your expertise in love, achieving this shouldn't be too difficult."

"But the only thing to watch out for is your fiancée, Miss Rover."

"You might act when Miss Rover isn't paying attention to avoid her interference."

Zani declined Lucian's commission but still offered her advice.

This was her way of surviving in the cracks.

Especially with these two, who were so formidable in status, strength, and more, she had to tread carefully.

After all, this was about her annual leave!

The second daughter had said that, no matter what, she had to ensure their safety and cater to their moods.

In past commissions, the second daughter had never been so emphatic.

This ant Lucian and Rover were the most important people to her.

Most crucially, the second daughter had promised seven days of annual leave after the job was done.

Seven days!

Incredibly precious, incredibly precious.

But such advice clearly displeased Rover. "Miss Zani, what do you an by that?"

"Are you encouraging Lucian to cheat behind my back?"

Zani thought to herself, as expected, Miss Rover wouldn't want to hear such suggestions.

But she had no better ideas, so she decided to shift the conflict…

"Miss Rover, both of you are my most important clients."

"So, I can't refuse either of your requests."

"Of course, if you can convince the second daughter to make you my top priority, or to prioritize you over Mr. Lucian."

"Then I'd only have to follow your commissions."

Zani's tone was cautious, unsure if shifting the conflict would stop Rover from fixating on this point.

Fortunately, Rover was a highly rational person. After a mont's thought, she said,

"In that case, the next ti I see Carlotta, I'll bring this up with her."

"When the ti cos, you'd better help

complete my commission."

Zani let out a sigh of relief. "Of course."

Not easy, truly not easy.

Zani felt she'd rather take on dangerous tasks—love was just too complicated.

Especially the love of the God of Universal Love…

Zani suggested again, "Since we can't fulfill this commission right now, why don't we focus on finding Gilberto first?"

Lucian shook his head slightly. "Hold on, Miss Zani."

"If I get Carlotta to prioritize

over Rover, would you have to fulfill my commission?"

Zani took a deep breath. "Yes, Mr. Lucian."

Lucian nodded slightly and said, "In that case, I might change my commission later…"

"By the way, can it be any kind of commission?"

Though puzzled, Zani smiled lightly. "As long as it's not sothing like asking

to take down the Montelli Family, it's fine."

Rover huffed. "What kind of nonsense are you planning now?"

Lucian laughed. "This commission isn't too much. After all, Miss Phoebe did sothing for …"

Zani's heart tightened. Sothing Phoebe did for him?

Could it be…

Zani's delicate toes, wrapped in black stockings inside her high heels, curled slightly, and she pursed her lips in embarrassnt.

So Lucian really had such thoughts. It must be his fetish…

Zani let out a soft breath. For her seven-day vacation, she'd go all out!

But then she thought, as long as she didn't let Lucian's priority surpass Rover's, it'd be fine, right?

Yes… she'd have to find a way to get the second daughter to prioritize Miss Rover.

Phoebe's smooth thighs rubbed together uncontrollably. Mr. Lucian, really, why bring this up again…

If Mr. Lucian liked them so much, maybe she'd give him a few more pairs next ti…

It was absolutely not for any other reason—just for soul purification!

Phoebe nodded to herself. Yes, that's right!

As Zani expected, after Lucian spoke, Rover gave him another thorough beating.

But Zani could tell Rover truly loved Lucian. Though she seed aggressive, she didn't actually hit hard.

As their guard, Zani was skilled enough to see that Rover wasn't using her full strength.

Amid Lucian's pleas for rcy, Zani's peripheral vision caught a white-haired man heading toward the Order of the Deep's cathedral.

Zani froze, then hurriedly said, "You two, stop flirting for a mont and look!"

The two paused and followed her gaze, seeing a vaguely familiar white-haired man enter the gates.

Phoebe saw him too and said with so confusion, "That's… it looks like Mr. Gilberto from the Fisalia Family?"

As a priestess of the Order of the Deep, Phoebe had seen most people in Ragunna.

After all, the Cathedral of rcury was the place in Ragunna where people paid homage to the Sentinel.

Not to ntion, the Fisalia Family's estate was right next to the Order of the Deep.
