Headmistress Aurielle sat in her office with a couple of docunts before her.
Most of which were reports of lands that had been reclaid from the Eclipsed that she needed to relay to the royal family.
Why was the report not sent directly to the royal mail or directly to the king himself instead of her?
Good question.
It was because the old fool was too lazy to sort it out himself, though he claid that her receiving it first was because he trusted her the most.
Yeah, she wasn’t buying that.
Aurielle was a hundred percent sure that the old fool was just trying to increase her workload.
With a sigh, she continued going through them before she suddenly paused, lifted her head towards the door as a smile appeared on her face.
"Seems the kid has so questions," Headmistress Aurielle said with a chuckle, it seems her day was about to be a bit less boring.
A couple of seconds later,
BANG!
The door to her office slamd open and in walked exactly who she expected, Astra Dawn.
"You have a lot of explaining to do, blind bat," she said the mont she walked in, "what the hell is this kid?"
Ayla followed behind a couple of seconds later, again, with no expression on her face as she walked to a couch in the office.
"Whatever do you an?" The headmistress feigned ignorance, even though she clearly knew what Astra was asking.
"Don’t give that," Astra said with a frown as she pointed towards Ayla, "what the hell is she?"
The headmistress looked at Ayla, who sohow now had a plate of cookies in hand, and then back to Astra before saying,
"A girl?"
Astra’s frown got deeper as she realized that the blind bat was just ssing with her. She very much wanted to hit her with a blast of light right now.
"I know that’s a bad idea," she said to herself as the rings on her belt stopped glowing and she calmly sat down as looked directly at the headmistress.
"I know the kid’s not using a solar tech," Astra said, "so what is she?"
