Volu 11, Chapter 10: Sibling Love is a Superior Love
After following Beatrice a short distance, we saw her go into a nondescript entrance in the walls. I gestured for Bergis to go in and imdiately entered.
“Be~a~trice~”
Pushing the door open, my voice had barely left when I saw a figure climbing out through a window!
Oh my god. Isn’t this building built into the wall? Why is there a window on the other side?
“I’ll catch up to them~”
Bergis patted on the shoulder and disappeared.
“O……Ok.”
At this point I have no choice. It’s not like I’m good at chasing people.
But that’s when I noticed there was a male elf in the room watching us with curiosity.
I went over and asked.
“Hello, are you Michua?”
“You’re looking for my sister too? Sorry, my sister went out this morning to get a consultation. I think she should be back soon?”
“Is that so? Then I’ll just wait here.”
Although we were here to find Beatrice, it might help to have a bit of understanding of her arm.
“Say, is there sothing between you and big sis Beatrice?I saw her run away the mont you called her na.”
“Ah, it’s nothing. It’s just that I’m her teacher. Beatrice hasn’t co to class for a long ti so I had co to personally see her.”
“That’s……”
“Ahahahahah. I told you, I said that sooner or later her teacher would co to the door looking for her.”
While we had been talking, the door to the room had suddenly opened. A tall elf in a nurse’s outfit ca in, saw and smiled.
“You’re Beatrice’s teacher, aren’t you? Hahaha. It seems that I’ve won. Beatrice and I had made a bet that her teacher would never care about her, it seems that wasn’t the case.”
The elf was Michua. Just like Fir had said, she seed to be a very excitable elf.
“Hello, I’m Mary, Beatrice’s teacher. As well as……I think you should rember Fir. He’s also her teacher.”
“Fir……ah, that guy. It’s almost been a month since he last left……well, maybe. It’s easy to lose track of ti down here. I didn’t expect that guy would beco a teacher. Also, isn’t Beatrice studying at the Imperial College? Does that an that Fir is a teacher there?”
“Yes.”
“That’s interesting. If it wasn’t necessary for to run this store then I’d love to find a job at the Imperial College. Well, don’t misunderstand . I just think that it’s dangerous to be a black market doctor. If a custor wants to kill , what can I do as a feeble woman?”
I think that you would be able to knock out your opponent by hitting them on their weak point at any ti. The hell are you going on about.
“Yo.”
Just as we had finished talking, a crack appeared in the air. A smiling Bergis walked out of it, dragging a black box behind her.
“You’re……”
“Caught soone~”
When Bergis said that she snapped her fingers, Beatrice fell out of the box and on to the floor.
“That hurt……can’t you drop soone lightly!”
“If you hadn’t run away in the first place then you wouldn’t have been dropped, now would you?”
I said with a smile.
“Co on, tell . Why do you want to skip class? Others have their own problems, so don’t tell that it was just because you didn’t want to co in.”
“I……”
Beatrice looked at and said, rather embarrassedly.
“It’s because……my father……”
“Well, another family dispute, is it? That doesn’t matter. We’ve already killed lody’s dad, another one or two is fine.”
“No, no, no. It isn’t that my father is a bad person, but that the cost of my arm makes it impossible for to face him. So I ran out while calling it exercise and maintained my arm by completing so more profitable tasks……of course I am getting stronger too so it’s a two-for-one sort of thing.”
“……”
I stared at her. I didn’t know how to describe her expression.
“You’ve had looking for you for so long because of such a strange reason?”
“Anyways! You go to school to improve your abilities, right? I’m just……”
“I see. Well, I’m not going to interfere with your choices. But don’t you want to earn so more money by reporting to the school by the end of the week? Our school is having an event to hunt for treasure and it’s certainly going to be a lot of money so you should co.”
“Treasure……is it.”
I was relieved to see Beatrice’s eyes light up when she heard it.
It looks like she’s easier to convince compared to others. Things would have been troubleso otherwise.
“What treasure!”
Asa a result, it wasn’t just Beatrice that was interested. Michua’s stared at from the side with a green light in her eyes, making feel like a pile of money.
“Ehem……”
She noticed this and beca embarrassed. Coughing with a red faced, asked.
“I was just curious……”
Why do I get the feeling that you aren’t just curious? Ah, forget it. In the future, Beatrice might need fixes so she might need her to co.
“Soone saw a dragon co down over there.”
“Dragon……”
MIchua’s eyes instantly let out a green burst of light! Walking over to Julian, she spoke with a smile.
“Brother, big sister is going to be out for a few days. Watch over the house for a little bit~”
“Eh? What if there are guests?”
“Let them wait~”
“That’s……”
Julian said sowhat quietly.
“I’ll be lonely if big sis isn’t here with .”
“……”
Michua hugged Julian.
“I’m sorry~ I’m a bad sister. Let’s go together~”
“Un~”
I gripped my sides.
This is a dog’s day. With a brother and sister openly showing their love, the day isn’t going to end.
