Volu 10, Chapter 58: Sneak Attack
“This......it’s impossible. How can you instantly cast such high level magic?”
Greed marveled.
“It would take a lich at least half a minute to store up enough energy for this sort of high level spell and you just needed to wave your hand......how the hell is this possible?”
“Well......”
I shrugged.
“A normal person wouldn’t be able to do it, but do you thing that normal person would walk into the Abyss and chat with the Demon King?”
“......”
Greed stared blankly. After so ti she replied.
“I think I understand why the Demon King wanted to bring you in from the back. I thought it was because you were on good terms with the Demon King and she wanted you to have so successes fighting. But I didn’t think......the Demon King wanted to set their backline on fire.”
“That’s good to know. Don’t we need to hurry then?”
“Yes.”
It seems that the cave filled with spiders had been completely frozen over. The earthen cave had been completely covered by ice.
It was a spell with the ability to seal an entire legion in ice. When you cast it inside of a cave like this, the already powerful spell is compressed further and instantly fills the cave.
While I don’t know how large the cave is, it’s beco fit for polar bears.
“We should go this way.”
The cave was completely refurbished by the spiders, the inside had been hollowed out with the center of the cave supported with countless pillars. As we walked towards the exit I was able to see a way up.
“Looks like it goes up here. Maybe an upwards passage was built before this beca a spider cave, it seems like it leads upwards towards this. Co on now, we’re almost at the enemy’s camp.”
Just as we said this, Oyado and Tai Shixi beca alerted.
“Careful, soone’s there!”
As soon as they said that we quickly hid behind nearby icicles.
After a while several nas and titles appeared at the exit. Looking up, they appeared to be the enemy’s soldiers.
They probably discovered that the spider hole had changed so they sent soone down?
I smiled. Replacing the water magic crystal in the Guide Book, I hung it by my waist.
I took out the Blaspher since I had gotten it back from Blazing Horn. While the dagger on it is a little damaged, it is easier for to use than a staff.
“To be honest.”
Bai Yueguang said, looking at the weapon I was holding.
“你这武器看上去更加像是长枪啊，你不知道枪兵幸运E吗?”
“That looks more like a lance than a wand, do you know about the Lancer with E-ranked luck?”
“How can you see a magic wand as a spear? It rod isn’t even as long as your sword, aren’t you seeing things?”
“It’s because......your wand is a long rod with a knife at the end.”

While I was giving Bai Yueguang a blank look, the enemy reached the entrance to the cave. In an instant the ice at the entrance was smashed and a werewolf with a sledgehamr jumped in.
“Oh my god, how did the spider hole beco filled with ice?”
The werewolf exclaid.
“Jeff, go and report to the commander. This place’s occupants have changed. It’s probably a high level ice monster. The spiders in here......most of them didn’t have any ti to react. Tell the commander to seal this passage or we’re going to be in danger.”
“Absolutely don’t let them do that!”
I quietly whispered to the others.
“Who!?”
The werewolf’s hearing ability was really strong. It was able to hear even though I was whispering.”
“Go!”
I had just shouted out when several figures darted out. Oyado appeared behind the werewolf with a dagger in her hand. The werewolf’s body ca to a sudden stop as he was decapitated.
Bai Yueguang rushed into the entrance, there was a flash of light, and after a mont the na in the tunnel vanished.
After a mont Bai Yueguang ca out of the tunnel and Greed reappeared next to us with a werewolf’s head in her hands.
“Don’t bring that over here, it’s disgusting.”
“Oh, old habit. Sorry.”
Greed threw it aside and turned back to us
“What should we do now?”
“Keep going forward. What else can we do?”
“I checked the passage out just now and there are quite a few soldiers outside. We wouldn’t be able to sneak out of here and would have to fight them head on.”
“Isn’t it normal to sneak in like that with Dynasty Warriors? Well, I do know a way.”
“What is it?”
“Didn’t they say that there was a high level magic beast?”
“Yes.”
“Then we will give them one.”
“......”
Greed stared blankly at again.
“What what sort of bastard are you, being able to do anything?”
I smiled at her
“Only an idiot.”

Two minutes later, Rebel Army Outpost.
A team of werewolf soldiers had surrounded the small hole.
One of the soldiers turned to a higher ranked werewolf and asked.
“Boss, Jeff’s been down there for a while, while there was a voice just now I wasn’t able to make it out. Could there be danger?”
“Impossible......”
The oldest looking werewolf said.
“They’re the oldest fighters in our group, wouldn’t they have sent a signal?”
“Makes sense......eh?”
Suddenly, the earth beneath them started to shake.
“Boss! This......”
“Full alert! Fall back!”
Just as he was saying that, a loud roar ca from the hole, countless ice snakes ca out and attacked the surrounding werewolves.
“Defend, retreat!”
The werewolves’ boss shouted as he fought an ice snake.
But......
10 ters underground, I was holding a wand and facing the hole.
“Dark magic summoning, I can still use it.”
“Seriously......”
Greed said.
“You’re definitely a monster.”
