Gu Pan rembered that Gu Ci used to be in the oil business, so she asked, “President Gu used to be in the oil business, wasn’t that quite far from here? Why did you choose this base initially?”
Gu Ci sighed, “I was just a middleman with a processing plant, essentially a transfer station. I imported crude oil and processed it into gasoline. My factory is not very far from here.”
Gu Pan then asked, “So you just gave up on your factory’s crude oil?”

The broadcast repeated tirelessly.
But today, still, no one went out to take the risk, including Gu Pan and her group. After all, their range of activities was large, and they could manage without going out.
Their container houses and the first floor of the villa combined offered quite a sizable area.
Gu Pan and her companions opened the windows to ventilate the house and even turned over the soil in the flowerpots. If the sunny weather continued for a while, they could plant so vegetables. Even if the sunshine didn’t last, using lamps to cultivate wasn’t impossible.

Gu Pan looked at the sunlight outside the window and the air carried a scent of earth, almost like the feeling of spring.
It was truly impossible to predict when and how the dangers might co, but they couldn’t stay indoors forever.
So, they went out very cautiously, wearing safety helts, windproof coats, and goggles, knowing that a disaster might happen next, but they couldn’t be sure what it would be, so they followed one rule: always be vigilant and ensure safety.
