Lu Ruisheng accepted the pass and thanked Lun Wanli, “Thank you, Grandpa. We will definitely survive.”
Lun Wanli nodded, “Enjoy yourselves these next two days, and if possible, co visit when you have ti.”
Lu Ruisheng didn’t refuse, “Alright, if we have ti, we’ll co.”

And Su Mu had prepared a bag of books, information on various latest weapons, urging them to study them as they might need them soday.
Lun Wanli did not co to see them off, saying he preferred not to watch such departures, and had so supplies sent to them to take back instead.
When parting, Lu Ruisheng gave Lu Jianshe a paper detailing problems that might occur during the polar night and their strategies to handle them, such as issues that could arise from being out of sunlight for extended periods, physically and ntally. This could greatly help Lu Jianshe and the base.
Lu Jianshe also shared so life-saving tips with Lu Ruisheng.
Despite the deep reluctance, they still had to part ways.
Gu Pan and Lu Ruisheng, accompanied by their Second Uncle and others, boarded the vehicle and left the main base.
Once outside the base, Gu Pan looked back at the increasingly distant main base with complex feelings in her heart.

The two traveled in an off-road vehicle, which made it more convenient.
Their first stop was a science museum, which was fairly well-preserved as scavengers often overlooked it for lacking food, weapons, and electricity-dependent items.
But the artifacts here were irreplaceable for future recovery efforts, including intelligent robots and steam-engined vehicles.
