After entering the main base, the two exchanged a smile, their escape pod acquired at half price, although it ant they could no longer engage in black market deals.

Although he wasn’t impeccable in his actions and indeed took care of his daughter and son-in-law up to a point, everything was within legal and disciplinary boundaries, never compromising the base’s interests.
Lu Lianlian then threw herself at Huang Suzhen, “Mom, you love the most, you have to make dad help Kejin.”

Gu Pan smirked, feeling the sting of the scolding while thinking that their purchase of the escape pod had inadvertently helped bring down Lu Lianlian’s family. Wasn’t this also aiding their Second Uncle?

Upon hearing Lu Jianshe ntion internal strife, Lun Wanli’s mood plumted, “Lu Jianshe, do you still regard as your father?”
Lu Jianshe responded, “If you think you have fulfilled your duties as a father, then yes, you are.”
Gu Pan watched his defiant tone wishing he could crash through everything, feeling incredibly thrilled. Such craziness felt good, and once the incident involving Lu Ruisheng losing “that thing” was settled, she would go wild with Second Uncle too.
Lun Wanli, furious, told Lu Jianshe, “Get out, just get out.”
Lu Jianshe shrugged nonchalantly and said to Lu Ruisheng and Gu Pan, “Let’s go, it’s a great bike, your Second Aunt said you would definitely like it.”
Gu Pan and Lu Ruisheng bid farewell to Lun Wanli and followed Lu Jianshe outside.
