Xu Hei ignored him, maintaining a posture of intense resistance against the pressure, his body taut and pressed tightly against the ground, unable to divert his attention.

Gong Tianhe's lips curled into a contemptuous smile.

But his disdain wasn't for Xu Hei's strength; it was for his acting skills.

Such poor acting!

Gong Tianhe raised his hand, and a large fish, thin as a blade, appeared in his grasp. The fish was slender, with a back full of sharp spines like serrated teeth, looking extrely nacing and terrifying.

The fish's tail curved outward on both sides like a crescent moon, glinting with a blue edge, seemingly poisonous.

He grabbed the fish's head and flew towards Xu Hei.

"That's... a Winter Fish!"

The onlookers in the distance narrowed their eyes.

A single fish was equivalent to a sword! Judging by the fish's condition, it was likely a demonic beast at the Elental Infant stage when alive!

"Die!"

Gong Tianhe hurled the Winter Fish at Xu Hei, the frozen fish transforming into a flying sword, shooting forward at incredible speed.

Xu Hei's pupils contracted, sensing a faint hint of danger.

The opponent had never used this move before, which only indicated one thing: he knew Xu Hei was strong and aid to kill with one strike!

"Damn it, I've been seen through!" Xu Hei cursed inwardly.

Truth be told, Xu Hei's acting had always been lacking. From his initial entry to Penglai Island, controlling his score, to being caught and beaten in prison, to now, he had never successfully acted.

Xu Hei was about to summon the Black Tortoise Shield.

Suddenly, a vine sprouted from the ground in front of him, lightning-fast, wrapping around the frozen fish tightly.

Imdiately after, a gigantic carnivorous flower burst out from the ground, swallowing the fish whole.

The vine was a branch of the carnivorous flower.

"How dare you stop ?"

Gong Tianhe squinted his eyes, looking at Xu Bai beside Xu Hei.

Xu Bai remained silent, simply watching him quietly, her eyes glinting with green light.

"Fine, I'll deal with both of you together."

Gong Tianhe flicked his finger, and the frozen fish inside the carnivorous flower spun rapidly, cutting a path out and shooting back into his grasp.

Just as he was about to act, he suddenly felt an itch on his arm.

Looking closely, he saw tiny red dots spreading across the arm holding the frozen fish, itching unbearably. The red dots quickly spread, covering his entire body.

"What the hell is this?"

Gong Tianhe's face darkened, imdiately discarding the frozen fish and swallowing a drop of transparent water.

This was a Purification Pearl, capable of neutralizing all poisons and expelling any foreign impurities from the body.

However, after consuming the Purification Pearl, the red dots on his body not only failed to disappear but grew larger and more nurous.

All the onlookers were stunned.

Gong Tianhe's expression grew increasingly grim. Reluctantly, he sat cross-legged, focusing all his efforts on suppressing the intense poison within.

Only then did he realize that the red dots weren't poison at all but red mushrooms sprouting wildly on his skin.

The mushrooms grew larger, visibly encasing Gong Tianhe's body, even filling his insides.

A ruthless individual, he decisively took out a Thunder Tribulation Pearl and swallowed it, detonating it within.

"Boom!!"

Terrifying thunder erupted, charring Gong Tianhe black, scales falling off, flesh and blood mangled, but the mushrooms on him were blasted away, leaving none behind.

He opened his mouth, emitting thick smoke and purple lightning arcs, a divine might of heaven and earth that could suppress anything.

"I underestimated you," Gong Tianhe said coldly.

Having been undefeated in the trial tower, he thought the first place would be easy to handle, but he didn't expect to encounter such a tough opponent in the first round.

However, since it was two against one, he believed that in a one-on-one situation, he wouldn't lose to anyone.

As thoughts raced through his mind, Gong Tianhe's vision blurred.

A black shadow suddenly appeared before him, a massive tail swinging fiercely towards his face.

It was Xu Hei's Dragon Tail Swing!

Xu Hei's move was swift, perfectly tid at the mont Gong Tianhe's Thunder Tribulation Pearl ended, and Gong Tianhe never expected Xu Hei to counterattack, leaving him defenseless and almost certain to be hit!

"Immortal Spell, Yellow Springs Burial!"

Suddenly, a low shout ca from not far away.

In the blink of an eye, the ground within a hundred feet turned into a swamp, a terrifying suction force erupting from it, trapping both n like they were in a whirlpool, unable to move.

It was the three-eyed toad, Wen Tailai, making his move!

This move, once used by Hai Teng, was a trump card against Xu Hei. But the three-eyed toad executed it faster, almost instantaneously, enveloping both Xu Hei and Gong Tianhe.

He intended to take them both down!

Xu Hei was confident that this strike would severely injure Gong Tianhe, but he would also fall into the toad's trap, unable to escape. Seeing the other predators eyeing them, Xu Hei made a quick decision, changing direction, and swung his Dragon Tail Swing downward, smashing into the swamp.

"Smack!!"

The swamp exploded, sending rain flying everywhere. Using the recoil, Xu Hei shot into the sky, breaking free from the Yellow Springs Burial's grip, returning to the sky, then retreating to his original position.

"Did you really think I was easy to bully?"

Gong Tianhe roared in anger, spewing a massive amount of seawater from his body, forming a terrifying sea tornado around him, breaking the Yellow Springs Burial with brute force.

Seeing his sneak attack fail, Wen Tailai leaped back, retreating to the other side of the arena, staying far away, clearly a devious trickster.

Xu Hei hadn't expected Gong Tianhe to have the strength to use this move.

But it was evident that Gong Tianhe was exhausted. Normally, whether it was Xu Hei or Wen Tailai, he would have taught them a harsh lesson, but now, he had no energy to pursue anyone.

Gong Tianhe swallowed a pill, quickly recovering his stamina.

Xu Hei also ceased his attack; the earlier show of force was enough.

"Hmph! A bunch of fools."

The Nine-Headed Worm shook its head in disappointnt, having hoped the three would fight until all were severely injured so it could swoop in and reap the benefits, but they stopped fighting.

"So strong! I didn't know there were so many experts in warm climates!"

Xiong Dabao's eyes sparkled, looking at everyone with admiration, like a country bumpkin who had never seen the world.

However, he had never been moved by the formation, indicating a strong foundation!

On the demonic beast side, talents were abundant, and the human side was not to be outdone, launching a series of purges. In an instant, only fifty figures remained on the arena, evenly split between humans and demonic beasts.

By now, no one dared to make a move.

The remaining individuals were all powerful, each hiding their true strength. If anyone was careless and hit a tough opponent, they would be the ones to be eliminated.

The spiritual pressure formation continued to intensify, and except for a few who couldn't hold on and would make a desperate move, no one would take the initiative to attack.
