"There's no way we bow down to a re sli," a Hobgoblin roared and cast "Demonic Surge!" "Demonic Fist!"

He was just beside the Goblin Lord. He lunged at Averon, dumping an enormous amount of demonic force into his spell, as his entire body was wrapped with demonic force.

Lily glanced at the young sli, who stepped forward. The crown on his palm shone as a flood of demonic force emitted from his body.

[ Ding! You have used the King's Mark! ]

[ Ti Count: 10:00! ]

Averon caught the Hobgoblin's large fist with his small palm.

Then he battered the Hobgoblin left and right on the floor. Thud! Thud!

The Hobgoblin's face cracked as he spat out blood.

The young sli tossed him to his right after spotting him knocked out. Boom!

"Do you want to submit now, or do I need to beat you down?" Averon spat, cracking his small fists.

He cast "Demonic Surge!"

His body was covered by a calm, soft layer of demonic force.

"How dare you?" The Hobgoblins scread as their demonic force surged like waves of water, while Averon's was just a composed film over his body.

To an inexperienced eye, Averon would seem the weakest—yet in fact it was the opposite.

Bang!

Just when all the Hobgoblins cast "Demonic Surge!"—

Averon flashed in front of the one standing next to Gilirima.

Thud!

He punched the Hobgoblin in the gut as he flew into the air, shattered the ceiling, and crashed out.

Boom! Bang!

Then he flashed to the goblins one by one.

"What's going on?!" a Hobgoblin at the back roared as goblins were thrown left and right, crashing through the ceiling, walls, and tearing everything apart in their way.

The goblins at the end froze.

They had seen powerful warriors before.

But none had defeated dozens of Hobgoblins without even breathing harder.

A few lowered their weapons as their body shook.

Others stared at Averon like he was a monster.

Just monts later, only the Goblin Lord and Gilirima stood, mouths wide open.

"So you accept my rule, don't you?" Averon asked.

Gilirima and the Goblin Lord nodded, trembling. "Yes—yes, we do."

Averon calmly patted his hands and said, "They're alive. I just knocked so sense into them. After a few days, they'll wake up."

He continued with a pause, "Then we'll depart. Prepare yourselves."

Gilirima and the Goblin Lord still nodded blankly.

---

anwhile, the world was hit with a major change. Many goblin villages responded to their ancestor Giliberu's wish. Goblins started to pack up.

In a certain goblin village, in the centre of the village, many goblins gathered with interest.

An old Goblin Lord with white hair, holding a wooden stick, walked forward with a bent back and yelled from a roughly made wooden podium, "Everyone, prepare. We'll depart in a few days for the ancient demon capital city."

"Is it because of our Ancestor, Lord?" a goblin asked from behind.

Every goblin turned to the Goblin Lord.

"Yes," the Goblin Lord nodded. "We'll follow the next Demon Lord... It's the ancestor's wish."

Such scenes were playing out in many goblin villages.

Many goblin settlents began whispering the sa words, "The Ancestor has given a new command."

---

In an underground cave, a middle-aged Goblin Lord clad in a black shirt and gray robes yelled, "Why are you not obeying our Ancestor's wish?"

A Hobgoblin held a mace on his nape and barked, "The Ancestor is a re fool asking us to submit to a puny sli."

He tapped his mace on the ground as cracks spread over it.

"Who among you is willing to refuse the Ancestor's wish?" He hissed, glancing around the crowded goblins and Hobgoblins.

A few stood up swiftly. "We won't submit to a sli."

Several Hobgoblins nodded sharply. "Just because he's going to beco a new Demon King doesn't an we'll bow at his feet."

The Goblin Lord sighed. "Whoever wants to co with , co. The rest—follow your own lives."

He turned to the Hobgoblin with the mace and ordered, "From now on, they are under you."

The goblin grinned. "Good. It should have been like that from the beginning. You weak-minded creatures go under your sli lord."

He flared with demonic force and scoffed, "The next ti we et will be your death day—and your sli lord's."

Similar scenes unfolded in many goblin villages, as many believed the sli wasn't worthy to rule over them.

---

A few days later.

On an official road covered by large trees on both sides, Sword King Risa raised his palm as the adventurers next to him and behind him halted.

A beautiful young woman clad in a purple mage uniform walked forward to the Sword King and asked sweetly, "Lord, why did we stop here?"

Risa narrowed his eyes. "This sli seems to be an extraordinary creature. We shouldn't take it lightly. Let's inform the guild to prepare. He seems to have gained control over the goblins."

He lowered his head as several Hobgoblin and goblin corpses lay in front of him.

His gang had interrogated and tortured them to death for information.

"Giliberu…" Sword King Risa clicked his tongue. "To think a goblin almost on par with a Holy Sage would allow his clan to serve a sli."

The woman asked, "Lord, you are a king. How can you be afraid of a sli?"

"He possesses the King's Mark," Sword King roared.

Everyone trembled and knelt down instantly. "Forgive us, Lord, for questioning you."

Sword King added sharply, "If he unleashes his King's Mark power, he can reveal the power of a peak king—and that would cause trouble even for ."

This shocked everyone as their mouths hung open.

The woman clenched her fists. 'King's Mark… If only I had it.'

Due to his assessnt and other adventurers noticing the change, the guild made a swift move. Adventurers were recalled and ordered to prepare with everything they had.

They didn't retreat—but chose to face the sli fully prepared.

The guilds and many races took notice of the goblins moving.

Adventurers who were still rushing to kill the sli and scout his details stopped due to Sword King Risa's request.

They had to obey Risa's words.

---

In a forest, a beautiful elf clad in a green suit clenched her fist and yelled, "As expected—I wanted to kill him. He's already making waves, and it's not even one week since he gained the King's Mark."

---

anwhile, for the first ti since leaving Remora City, Averon stood before a real army.

Gilirima and the Goblin Lord, along with all the goblins, knelt down in front of him.

Lily, Elder Sli, and the sli gang stood behind the young sli.

"So you all have submitted to wholeheartedly?" the young sli questioned, folding his hands behind his back.

"Yes, we do," the goblins nodded.

They had witnessed the power of a king. How could they not submit—and their Ancestor had ordered them as well.

"Good," Averon nodded as Mama Sli, Elder Nobara, Lily, and the others grinned.

In those few days, Averon had learned the nas of the goblins.

The Goblin Lord—the father of Gilirima—was Gilinio, which made the young sli's eyes twitch yet again.

He held his chin. 'There are a total of 747 goblins and 314 Hobgoblins in this village… Impressive battle power.'

'If Giliberu's father had this kind of power… the world would have felt threatened by goblins,' he clicked his tongue.

"We'll depart now," he ordered, glancing at the sky as the black sun was almost reaching its peak.

Nobara said, "Averon, we can use this village as a safe hold or guard post in the future."

The young sli nodded. "Indeed, that's a good idea."

Bull#1 tilted his head. "Why aren't we settling down here? This village is quite good and developed."

"This won't be enough," Cow#1 replied, "and the Remora city is very close. If soone wants to kill us, they can easily enter the forest and do the deed."

Wolf#1 and Little Sli nodded along with the others, understanding.

Even Averon, Nobara, and Lily were impressed with Cow#1's assessnt.

'She can help in managent,' the young sli grinned.

With everything settled, they prepared to set off.

They didn't have to carry much luggage thanks to the storage spell. With enough food for a few months, the goblins departed with Averon and the gang.

The forest shook as hundreds of goblins began marching.

They were marching toward the new capital.

Toward the future of demonkind.

---

After a few days of travel.

A small child about five years old in height appeared from behind a large tree.

His body looked like it was made of brown wood, wrapped tightly inside a large green leaf shaped like a cone that covered him from neck to feet.

Big cracks ran across the leaf in four areas, and from those cracks, his small wooden arms and feet poked out.

Small leaves sprouted from his head like ssy hair, and his eyes were black and glossy like polished gems.

His facial features were adorable, resembling a human child, except for the wooden face. One glance at him would make hearts lt.

The leaf wrapping his body was badly damaged, split in the middle, which leaked thick green liquid. Clearly injured, the little plant demon peeked from behind the tree at the massive goblin army and Averon, holding onto the tree trunk with shaking hands.
