Sli#47 frowned. 'I wanted to et them.'

"No training. You have already mastered battle style," Shadow replied flatly. He snapped his fingers. "Now, teleporting in 5… 4…"

"Whoa! There!" Young Sli raised his hands, not expecting to battle right away.

He quickly opened his combat style status.

[ Ding! Opening Ancient Combat Style status! ]

'It's good that I didn't use them,' he mused, recalling how he'd fought with his clones to power it up.

In the one month of training, before killing the dancing lightning party, he had trained two new demonic magic spells—Demonic Flash and Demonic Body—to Level Max under Elder Sli.

'Demonic Flash is movent-based… it improves movent even more effectively than Demonic Surge with less energy, since the latter is an all-around boost,' he mused, rubbing his round chin, as Shadow counted, "…"

'And the other—Demonic Body spell… It's a defensive skill, much better than Demonic Cloak,' he thought, nodding to himself.

"Boundless Growth trait… it's so powerful…" He narrowed his eyes, grinning.

Due to it, he'd reached Level Max in two Grade One demonic magic spells in just one month. For other spells like demonic fist, it took him a few loops.

'It's OP… if my emotions go berserk, I might reach Level Max in under one minute,' he thought, grinning as Shadow announced, "Now…"

Sli#47 felt himself floating for a mont and found himself in an open forest field.

"Here I'm... back at the white dragon arena…" he muttered, clenching his fist.

[ Level: 97 ]

'Tch! I really missed gravity training,' he thought, frowning.

The higher the level, the tougher it is to grow.

"Only because I forced myself with injuries could I get to this level," he said, recalling how many tis he coughed blood at night while hiding from Mama Sli.

"A new challenger," a childish voice echoed, as a half-ter-long western white dragon manifested in front of him. "And it's a sli…"

Sli#47 said, "Appraisal," wanting to check if changes existed due to his now lower level.

'Different class and race…' he thought. "It is the sa level as ."

Trial of Combat was ant to hold on against the strongest white dragon for two minutes at the sa level.

"Senior…" he called, as he noticed the white dragon's eyes narrowing.

The white dragon instantly lted when he was called senior. "What is it?" he asked softly, lying down on the ground.

"How strong are you?" Sli#47 asked, sitting next to the dragon.

The dragon glared at him, asking, "Why? Don't you know I'm very, very strong."

He patted his scales.

"I an...you're called the strongest at the sa level… so does that an you can defeat Dragon God…" Sli#47 asked curiously.

'Let's spend the entire ti,' he mused. He knew it was best to use the dragon's childishness instead of fighting it.

Even though he was the sa level as the dragon, he knew he was no match. He could sense monstrous power from that body.

'He should have many powerful traits,' he thought, narrowing his eyes, as the dragon replied, shivering, "Dad… he is cheating… he always uses authority while fighting with ."

The dragon trembled when he ntioned his father.

"But you'll win, right, if you fought without authority," Sli#47 said, praising. "After all, senior is the strongest… your father was cheating."

"Yes, you got it right…" the dragon puffed his mouth and nodded.

"How about this?" Young Sli said. "In the next fight… You call your mom for support."

The dragon cut him off, narrowing his eyes. "Mom…?"

He fell into thought. Noticing it, Sli#47 asked with a smile, "Is sothing wrong?"

"Mom won't… she'll beat even more than Dad," he yelled, waving his hands in rejection.

'The heck… not all moms are good,' Young Sli thought as he recalled his Mama Sli with a light grin.

He quickly wiped his smile so the dragon won't notice.

"Hmm… why would she beat you?" he asked, frowning. "Doesn't she know that Senior is senior… and must be respected?"

"Humm," the dragon humd, narrowing his eyes in delight. "I'll beat her and Dad together."

Ti passed as they both engaged in aningful conversation, while Young Sli kept praising the child, making him happy.

Just when more than one minute had passed—

"Why do you think everyone didn't use this thod?" the dragon asked. His voice turned cold and majestic from childish.

"What…" Sli#47 was puzzled, as he noticed the difference.

The dragon, which seed childish, turned majestic, and his presence was totally different.

Wind gusts emitted from the dragon as huge dragon pressure erupted from him. "Royal Dragon Might."

Young Sli was blown back as he cast, "Demonic Bind."

Dark veins manifested from the ground and trees, holding him from getting pushed away in mid-air.

"You are not the first one to try this thod," the dragon said, sighing, "Dad and Mom only focused on making stronger, but never trained my ntality."

"You grew into an adult?" Sli#47 asked, frowning.

"Yes…" The dragon nodded. "If I don't, you would easily get through this trial."

"How could it be so easy?" Young Sli sighed. 'Here I was expecting to exploit a loophole.'

"I'm still in my kid's body, but I'm ntally older," the dragon grinned. "Now then, shall we fight?"

"Demonic Surge," Sli#47 erupted with his own demonic force, resisting the golden pressure.

He thud! landed on the ground, letting go of the binds.

The dragon's mouth emitted a surge of blue mana as he yelled, "Royal Dragon Breath!"

A beam of golden energy poured from his mouth and—zzz!—rushed toward Young Sli.

"Demonic Pulse!" Sli#47 reacted quickly and used his own beam.

Boom!

The dark beam and the golden beam collided.

Despite the two majestic beams clashing, no wind blew.

The grass lay relaxed on the ground. No leaf moved from its place on the trees.

'What powerful control,' Young Sli mused, pouring in more demonic force.

The dragon reacted with more energy in return.

"It's perfectly matching mine, while keeping refined control on his energy," Sli#47 muttered, glancing at the surroundings from the corner of his eyes.

From a distance, it seed two lights clashed against each other in a peaceful forest.

Even ants and flies moved without issue near the beam, beneath the clash.

'Those tiny creatures would have vaporized if not for his control,' he thought, frowning. 'His control over power is far above despite being at the sa level.'
