Lohan began scrolling through the list of evolutions, feeling the adrenaline of progress course through his gelatin.

He knew that Level 15 was just the beginning and that, to keep Astralis Requiem ahead of other guilds, his base had to be vastly superior to anything the other guilds were training.

He wasn’t naive enough to think that other guilds didn’t have large numbers of players with Epic or even Legendary Stats in their ranks, so he had to make the most of his Mythic Stats right now.

"All right... let’s see how much biomass I can burn today," Lohan thought with a predatory mental smile.

His first target was the foundation of his mobility.

[Viscous Flow Lv 36 → 50]

[6.52 m/s → 24.76 m/s]

[Cost: 59.20 Biomass]

Lohan felt his outer membrane vibrate and bee even more elastic. His base speed was now something that defied the nature of a slow Slime.

Not only had his rolling speed increased by nearly 380% pared to the previous value, but his agility had also increased by nearly 380%, allowing him to make sweeping movements on a pletely different level than he could before!

Ever since he first became a Slime, his mobility had always been a major weakness, and now, Lohan finally felt confident enough to act solo more often, able to exploit openings that other Players couldn’t!

Excitedly, Lohan began rolling across the hall, and instead of the "slightly fast" slime he had seemed like before, Lohan now looked like a little poodle dashing across the hall, nothing pletely supernatural yet, but with the huge advantage of being able to move in any direction at any moment!

Instead of just running fast in a straight line, Lohan zigzagged rapidly, using his grip on the ground to allow him to change direction in an instant!

Next, he focused on defense. The impact of the battle against the Boss had shown that, although he was resilient, Level 15 Elite kinetic damage could still crack his obsidian armor if he wasn’t careful.

[Obsidian Exoskeleton Lv 14 → Lv 21]

[Cost: 103.05 Biomass]

Lohan felt the black hexagonal plates within his biomass reorganize. The color shifted from a deep black to a matte obsidian hue that almost seemed to swallow the surrounding light.

When he activated the armor for a second to test it, the sound of the plates locking into place was a dry, metallic click, far more intimidating than before.

But he didn’t stop there. His support ability was what made Astralis unique, and he needed to take it to the next level before the new recruits arrived.

[Weaver Mother Lv 6 → Lv 13]

[Cost: 101.63 Biomass]

[New Ability Acquired: Vital Pulse Injection: Allows the user to send instant bursts of Mana and Vitality through threads or direct contact that penetrate the target’s skin, enabling emergency healing much faster than external injection.]

The sensation of evolution with this skill was incredible. Lohan felt that the conductive channels within him, which he used to nourish Lisa and the others, had bee much wider and more efficient, with tips now sharp enough to easily penetrate a few millimeters into his allies’ skin.

He could now pump resources to his allies as if it were a high-pressure blood transfusion, which would be vital for keeping the vanguard alive during sieges.

"This is going to save a lot of lives... and win a lot of loyalty, haha," Lohan mused with satisfaction.

Even the idea of testing this on enemies crossed his mind.

He then turned his attention to his processing capacity.

Controlling clones and guild members simultaneously while managing his own defense and attack was a task that tested the limits of his human mind. He needed more biological "RAM."

Unfortunately, he didn’t have that much biomass left now after investing so much in his other skills, so he used what remained to evolve his magic core.

[Superior Magic Core Lv 5 → Lv 10]

[Total Mana 292 → 470]

[Cost: 10.1 Biomass]

The mental clarity that washed over Lohan was overwhelming. It was as if the world around him had slowed down.

He now felt he could manage ten independent clones just as easily as he moved his own main body.

The tactile, thermal, and mana information he received from all directions was now processed in perfectly isolated execution threads, eliminating any reaction delay.

Lohan felt that his tactical intelligence had just reached a whole new level, as if he had gone from a genius brain to an office puter!

Upon pleting this massive series of upgrades, Lohan felt his body pulsing with a power he had never imagined possible for a Slime, especially considering the constant sense of weakness he had felt upon arriving in this world.

He was dense, vibrant, and exuded an aura of authority that made the Mana in the main hall vibrate in response.

His gelatinous form was now so clear and pure that it resembled a cut blue gemstone, and the particles of Holy Light floating within him shone like tiny stars in a deep night sky.

Lohan tested his form, expanding until he reached nearly a meter in diameter and then contracting to the size of a small orange using reduction magic.

His control over his own body and over magic was much more precise.

He shaped a human hand, and although he hadn’t invested in his body control yet, his control had improved again even without leveling up that skill!

"Sure... if I keep up this pace, eventually other Players might think I’m a final boss, haha," Lohan thought with a mental chuckle.

He looked at the white wooden bark that he could now summon at will, a big smile on his face.

Lohan retracted all his limbs and returned to his favorite spherical form, resting quietly on the central pedestal. He could feel the tree’s mana circulating in harmony with his core, a rhythmic flow that brought him peace. The Astralis Requiem was ready. He was ready.
