After a sweet, love-filled drive, Bast and Kai arrived at Kai’s apartnt. Kai unlocked the door, and the mont they stepped inside, Bast couldn’t hold back any longer.
He pulled Kai into a tight embrace, burying his face in the curve of Kai’s neck, breathing him in like he was air after years of suffocating.
Bast (whispering): "I missed this so much..."
Kai’s arms slowly wrapped around him, holding him back just as tightly. His chest pressed to Bast’s, feeling the rhythm of a heartbeat that once used to lull him to sleep. Bast gently kissed Kai’s neck, the softest brush of lips that sent shivers up Kai’s spine.
Their eyes t.
Bast’s gaze dropped to Kai’s lips—and then they kissed. A deep, hungry kiss filled with longing and heartbreak and everything in between. It wasn’t gentle—it was desperate, like they were trying to make up for all the lost ti in one breathless mont.
Kai (breathless): "Bast... I can’t breathe..."
Bast (smirking): "Then let give you oxygen."
With a quiet chuckle, Bast lifted Kai effortlessly into his arms. Kai clung to him, cheeks flushed and heart racing.
He carried him to the bedroom like sothing sacred.
Once inside, Bast gently laid Kai down on the bed, looking at him like he was the most precious thing in the world.
Bast reached for the buttons on his shirt, but Kai gently caught his hands, stopping him.
Kai (softly): "Let do it."
Bast smiled, watching Kai’s eyes soften as his fingers moved carefully—unbuttoning one by one, slow and focused. Once the shirt slipped off, Kai’s gaze lingered on the body he once knew so well. He leaned in and pressed a kiss to Bast’s chest, then to his neck, before his lips traveled lower.
He kissed softly, then traced his tongue over Bast’s nipple.
Bast’s breath caught.
Kai bit him gently, making Bast let out a soft groan. His fingers slid into Kai’s hair, holding him close as Kai continued, his touch lighting fires across Bast’s skin.
Bast (roughly whispering): "Kai..."
Their eyes locked. Bast pulled Kai up and crushed their lips together again in a kiss that was hungry and filled with need.
His hands moved to Kai’s shirt, unbuttoning quickly. He slid it off and tossed it to the floor, then pulled Kai close.
Bast (whispering against his lips): "I can’t wait anymore."
One by one, their clothes slipped to the floor, marking a trail of forgotten tension and rediscovered love.
Kai lay down on the bed, breath soft and uneven. Bast leaned over him, kissing the curve of his neck, then biting gently—leaving small marks, claiming him in the way only he could. Kai’s hands gripped his back tightly, nails lightly scratching down his skin. It wasn’t violent, it was raw—real.
Kai shivered under him, a few tears falling from the corner of his eyes.
Bast paused and looked into his face.
Bast (gently): "Does it hurt?"
Kai (breathing softly): "A little... but it feels better than it hurts."
His voice trembled with emotion, not pain.
Bast leaned down and kissed the tears from his cheeks, then claid his lips again, deep and slow. Their bodies moved together with quiet urgency—no words, just emotion guiding every motion.
And in that mont, neither of them felt broken anymore. Only whole.
The city lights shimred through the glass walls, casting a soft glow across the room. Wrapped in warm sheets, Kai rested his head on Bast’s arm, his fingers lazily drawing circles on Bast’s chest. The quiet hum of the city outside felt like a lullaby—peaceful, intimate.
Kai (softly): "Bast... how did it feel, the first ti we did it?"
Bast turned his head, looking at him. Their eyes t, and Kai blinked slowly, his voice uncertain.
Kai: "I an... I drank that night. I don’t rember everything clearly, just flashes. So I’ve always wondered... how did you feel?"
Bast smiled at the mory, brushing a strand of hair away from Kai’s face.
Bast: "It felt like I’d entered heaven. Touching your body for the first ti, hearing your moans—it was everything. You were looking at with those dazed, drunk eyes, and it drove crazy. That night... it was unforgettable."
Kai’s cheeks turned red. He quickly looked away.
Kai (murmuring): "You’re the only one who enjoyed it."
Bast (teasing): "Nope. You did too. You might not rember everything, but you were the one pulling closer. The way you whispered my na..."
Kai (pouting): "Stop teasing. I was drunk."
Bast cupped Kai’s face gently, his thumb brushing his cheek.
Bast (softly): "Drunk or not, that was our first night together. And it ant sothing. It always will. And you know..." He smirked a little. "You can do anything you want with . I’m all yours."
Kai: "We already did everything. I’m tired."
Bast (grinning): "Only four rounds. Co on, baby, one more?"
Kai (whining): "Nooo. It hurts... we haven’t done it for so long, and now suddenly—four tis is enough, okay?"
Bast (sighing dramatically): "Okay, okay... I’ll control myself. But..."
He leaned closer, eyes twinkling.
Bast: "Can I get unlimited kisses instead?"
Kai (playful): "No."
Bast: "Too bad. I’m taking them anyway."
Before Kai could stop him, Bast started planting soft kisses on his cheeks, lips, neck—again and again.
Kai (laughing softly): "You’re such a brat."
Bast (smiling): "But I’m your brat."
Kai smiled as Bast teasingly kissed him all over, playfully dotting kisses on his cheeks, neck, and shoulders. Suddenly, Kai’s phone rang. He sighed, reaching for it from the nightstand.
Kai (checking the screen): "It’s Dad..."
Bast leaned back against the pillows, still holding Kai close as Kai answered the call.
Kai (on the phone): "Hello, Dad?"
Takeshi (over the phone): "Son, did you like your gift?"
Kai (confused): "Gift?"
He glanced down at Bast, who grinned up at him.
Takeshi (chuckling): "Of course, your blind date. I arranged it for you."
Kai’s smile grew as he looked into Bast’s eyes.
Kai (softly): "I loved it."
Takeshi: "That’s great to hear. Then co to the family dinner tonight. Everyone’s waiting to et the new guest. Bring him with you."
Kai: "Okay, Dad. We’ll be there."
The call ended, and Kai placed the phone aside. He turned to Bast, eyes curious.
Kai: "So... how did Dad suddenly approve our relationship?"
Bast gently patted Kai’s head and smiled.
Bast: "Well, about a week ago... he ca to see ."
Kai sat up slightly, listening intently.
Bast: "He told the truth—that he forced you to break up with back then, threatening to hurt himself if you didn’t. He said he thought everything would go back to normal after we separated... but instead, he saw how you changed. How unhappy you beca. And that’s when he realized he was wrong."
Kai was silent, his heart heavy with emotion.
Kai exhaled, finally understanding.
Kai (with a small smile): "So the blind date... was part of your plan?"
Bast (grinning): "Yup. I wanted to feel what it’s like to go on a blind date—with the love of my life."
Kai (playfully): "And? How did it feel?"
Bast (gazing at him): "With you... everything feels unforgettable."
He kissed Kai’s hand gently, and Kai blushed.
Kai: "Okay, okay, enough cheesy lines. Let’s go. The family’s waiting for us."
Bast and Kai quickly got ready for dinner. After a long drive, they finally arrived at the mansion. As they stepped out of the car, the servants bowed deeply in respect.
One of the servants stepped forward and spoke politely,
Servant: "Master Kai, the whole family is gathered in the dining room."
Kai gave a small nod.
They walked side by side, and Bast gently reached for Kai’s hand. Kai smiled as their fingers intertwined, his heart fluttering with warmth. They entered the grand dining room together.
The whole family was already seated. Reiji and Eden sat at the far end, and the mont their eyes fell on Bast and Kai walking in hand in hand, they both looked utterly shocked.
Takeshi stood up, a rare broad smile on his face.
Takeshi: "Ohh! My sons have arrived."
He opened his arms and warmly hugged Bast.
Kai’s eyes widened in disbelief. He leaned slightly toward Bast and whispered,
Kai (whispering): "Sons? When did Dad start calling you his son?"
Takeshi turned to them and gestured with pride,
Takeshi: "Co on, let’s sit."
Kai walked in a daze.
Kai (thinking): Am I hearing this right? Did he just say ’sons’? Now he’s calling Bast by his nickna too?
He glanced at the two n laughing together.
Woow... Dad really changed. When did he start loving Bast like this?
As Bast and Kai took their seats, the entire family greeted them with warm smiles. Laughter soon filled the room. Plates clinked, and the cozy energy of reunion wrapped around them like a soft blanket.
Across the table, Reiji gave Kai a curious look, subtly tilting his head.
Reiji (whispering): "What’s going on?"
Kai raised a hand slightly and signed back silently,
Kai (mouthing): "It’s a long story. Talk later."
After a long, long ti, Kai finally smiled again—genuine and soft.
And the smile is Sebastian Vaughn....
