"?"

As Qi Xiu gazed at his reflection in the mirror, his pupils quivered.

The person reflected in the Dual Heart Mirror, although identical in appearance and stature, wore a voluminous black robe, with horrifyingly scarlet pupils. Against the backdrop of the black robe, his originally delicate and fair complexion, gentle and refined visage, emanated an eerie and sinister charm.

"That’s right, I am you!"

With a creepy smile, the black-robed Daoist figure in the mirror suddenly reached out, grabbed Qi Xiu’s wrist, and yanked him into the mirror world.

The space before his eyes instantly inverted.

Suddenly bracing himself with his Body-Protecting True Gang, Qi Xiu’s eyes shone with lightning’s radiance. Terrifying Thunder Magic brewed inside him, encircling him with countless sparks of electric serpents.

"Don’t be nervous."

Having moved to a position a hundred ters from Qi Xiu at an unknown ti, the handso Daoist spread his hands and hooked up the corners of his mouth, revealing a chilling and sinister smile.

Frowning, Qi Xiu glanced at the handso Daoist who looked exactly like him and surveyed his surroundings.

This was a void, with no perceivable front, back, left, or right. Beneath their feet lay a surface like a polished mirror. Both he and the handso Daoist stood upon it, sending ripples spreading outwards in circles until those from their respective positions touched and dissipated into nothingness. This was the mysterious mirror world.

Two figures, identical in appearance but vastly different in aura and presence, faced each other.

Compared to Qi Xiu’s deep, sea-like composure—confident without arrogance, shaped by countless trials, and settled with the wisdom of years—the black-robed Daoist’s presence was more unrestrained and arrogant, radiating a domineering and malevolent force. Within his smiling eyes, a chilling desperation spread. One dark, one light, they stood opposed.

It seems to subdue this Dual Heart Mirror, one must face another version of oneself?

Gathering his sleeves, Qi Xiu, after his initial astonishnt, cald down.

Clearly, both the mirror world before him and the handso Daoist opposite him were machinations of the demonic artifact, the Dual Heart Mirror.

The process of subduing the Dual Heart Mirror... seed to be one of annihilating the other self before him.

Quite a challenge...

Murmuring quietly to himself, Qi Xiu gazed intently at the handso Daoist opposite him.

If the Daoist replicated by the Dual Heart Mirror possessed one hundred percent of his strength, then the chance of defeating him would not exceed ten percent. For he was very aware of the imnse and terrifying power that resided within himself.

"Oh, seems quite restless. Worried you won’t win against ?"

A hint of purple shone in the handso Daoist’s scarlet eyes. Running his Observing Qi Skill, he easily grasped Qi Xiu’s ntal fluctuations through Qi observation.

"Don’t be afraid; we might not necessarily have to fight. All you need to do is lend your body for two hours a day. I can cooperate with you to subdue this Dual Heart Mirror. How about it? It’s a good deal. Out of the twenty-four hours in a day, I only need two from you."

Spreading his hands, the handso Daoist appeared sincere.

"Okay."

With a light smile, Qi Xiu readily agreed to the handso Daoist’s offer without a second thought.

"Huh?"

Apparently not expecting Qi Xiu to agree so quickly, the handso Daoist’s expression montarily showed surprise.

But in that mont, the Body-Protecting True Gang auras around Qi Xiu and the handso Daoist suddenly exploded into countless terrifying sparks. A dozen barely visible, deeply hidden ferocious sword energies madly stabbed out.

That was the Insubstantial Piercing Sword Qi striking at the Body-Protecting True Gang!

"As expected! You little sneak!"

"As expected! You little sneak!"

Simultaneously uttering the words, Qi Xiu and the handso Daoist looked at each other and smiled.

Both had actually aid to use their words to lower the other’s guard and then take advantage of the opportunity to launch an attack with the Insubstantial Piercing Sword Qi, hoping for a one-hit kill. Although their temperants were starkly different, their cunning and crafty mindset was exactly the sa.

"Turns out I was overthinking it; I really don’t have the confidence to best you. But you don’t have the confidence to win against either."

Seeing the handso Daoist also attempting a decapitation strategy using the Insubstantial Piercing Sword Qi, a look of calm amusent spread across Qi Xiu’s composed face.

Indeed. The handso Daoist was his clone. What he doubted, the clone doubted as well!

"Ah, what a lost opportunity..."

With a regretful pat on his forehead, the handso Daoist let his eyes droop, and his smiling face gradually turned cold.

"You’re truly worthy of being my original self. Just as cunning as . Since clever tricks won’t work, then I’ll just have to..."

BANG!

With a booming sound, he transford into a streak of lightning fire, instantly pouncing towards Qi Xiu, his hand wide open and fingers like ink—

"Just finish you off!"

Star Absorption Skill!

His first move was the most terrifying and vicious attack! The handso Daoist was determined to secure victory in the shortest ti possible.

BOOM—

Two dull black palms collided in the air. Between them was as if an invisible wall existed, emitting a piercing screech! The oppressive, unmatched force of absorption confronted head-on. Gradually, a minuscule black hole began to form between their palms!

Bing Fire Divine Thunder!

Bing Fire Divine Thunder!

With their left hands simultaneously weaving spell incantations, both unleashed the sa technique! Two bolts of lightning, like erupting volcanoes, gave off deafening roars. As they made contact, the air ford a huge, dazzling rainbow column, with countless lightning storms raging like wild dragons erging from their lairs, roaring and sweeping in all directions!

Amidst the trendous force swirling around, two figures were forcefully separated, each retreating hundreds of ters backward!

"Suppression Talisman Seal Skill! Release!"

Simultaneously lifting the seals on their bodies, five golden chains erged from both Qi Xiu and the handso Daoist.

CLANG, CLANG—

A series of sounds of breaking chains interweaved.

The two n’s auras exploded violently, without restraint, fully unleashing their power. Columns of force burst from them, creating rings of blazing white waves that stirred in every direction—a terrifying sight.

Forty-eight Mixed Primordial Beads!

The torrential Hunyuan True Essence was more than a hundred tis that of an ordinary Initiate Realm cultivator at their peak!

On ordinary days, to avoid drawing too much attention, Qi Xiu would use the Suppression Talisman Seal Skill to seal a portion of his cultivation level. After a long ti, even he wasn’t clear on how powerful his full strength was when completely unleashed.

BOOM!

BOOM!

No unnecessary words. Qi Xiu and the handso Daoist once again transford into streaks of extre speed, invisible to the naked eye, clashing wildly within this mirrored world!

The Thunder Gang Qi surged!

Sonic booms exploded!

The two figures coalesced into dazzling bolts of lightning. In the flick of a finger, they could cross thousands of ters, leaving behind countless scorched marks from their clashes in the air. The entire space within the mirror seed to be filled with their figures.

They exchanged blows tirelessly tens of thousands of tis.

BOOM!

THUD!

A punch landed on the handso Daoist’s face, while Qi Xiu himself was kicked squarely in the chest.

Both retreated hundreds of steps.

Qi Xiu clutched his chest, slightly gasping for air. On the other hand, the handso Daoist was also rubbing his cheek, drops of sweat sliding down his chin.

A perfect match of equals! A perfectly matched battle of skills!

Possessing completely identical powers, the fight between Qi Xiu and the handso Daoist was like the performance of a beautiful art. While fully attacking each other, they were also pondering each other’s thoughts and strategies, trying to find a vulnerability, a chance for a lethal blow.

It could be said that with each encounter, a multitude of thoughts flashed through their minds in a re instant.

An ultimate ga of strategy!

The intense consumption of physical strength, Gang Qi, and spirit was so vast that it was completely beyond the imagination of an Initiate Realm cultivator.

"You’re down to your last Mixed Primordial Bead, aren’t you?"

Standing upright, the handso Daoist brushed off the beads of sweat on his forehead, smiling lightly as he looked across at Qi Xiu.

"Do you have two left, perhaps?"

Regaining his composure, Qi Xiu’s hands gently moved beneath his wide-sleeved robe.

Forty-eight Mixed Primordial Beads. Fought down to the very last one. This showed the breathtaking intensity of their battle.

After silently looking at each other for a mont, a sly smile curved the handso Daoist’s lips, its evil charm sending shivers down one’s spine:

"Qi Xiu, you’ve actually lost already."

"Oh? How do you figure?"

"Although our strengths are equal, our natures are different. You are like a solitary peak, majestic and profound, able to remain unbowed even through torrential rain and wild winds. But I am different. My temperant is like a fish swimming upstream, bravely going against the current—advance or be swept back. When it leaps through the Dragon Gate, it soars to the heavens! And just now, I’ve had an even better insight!"

Suddenly, thick black mist surged around him, and behind the handso Daoist, a ferocious and stern Mo Jiao with green pupils and ink-black scales slowly erged.

"The Dao you seek is that of mutual generation between yin and yang, the mystery of Hunyuan. This approach is far-sighted, lofty, suspended high above. But the only flaw is that it’s too stable. A constant pursuit of stability hinders seizing opportunities! We cultivators, in our pursuit of the Dao, inherently defy the heavens. Since we are to defy the heavens, how can we follow this path of moderation? If we are to walk a path, it must be the way of perilous peaks!"

Clasping his hands abruptly, the Mo Jiao behind the handso Daoist raised its head to the heavens in a long howl.

The next instant, the Daoist placed a hand over his abdon, and with a roar, he forcibly expelled a purple tiger from his body.

"To complent yin with yang, to embrace the ultimate path! The supre and only, hence nad Tai Yin!"

Amidst his resonant cries that shook all directions, the handso Daoist pointed, and the green-pupiled, fierce Mo Jiao behind him imdiately lunged forward, its large mouth tearing and biting into the expelled purple tiger. The purple tiger instinctively roared in resistance as the Mo Jiao devoured it. But under the deliberate suppression of the handso Daoist, the purple tiger was no match for the Mo Jiao and was completely consud within breaths.

After consuming the purple tiger whole, two round bulges suddenly erged on top of the Mo Jiao’s head, and its belly ruptured as three Dragon Claws burst forth!

The Mo Jiao was transforming into a dragon!

With the pure Yang power of the purple tiger as sustenance, the Mo Jiao shed most of its jiao body, sprouted Dragon Claws, and its Dragon Horns were just a hair’s breadth from fully forming.

"See? This is the real ultimate thod! Your ’The Secret of the Primordial Dragon-Tiger Scripture’ is too comprehensive, aiming to govern all laws and encompass everything! But that path is too long, too far, so much so that even you cannot see its end. My thod, however, takes yin to the extre and manifests spirit into reality. Yin without limit ans spirit without asure! Spirit without asure ans thods without end! thods without end an the Great Dao is achieved! This is ’Taiyin’s Infinite True Scripture’!"

With a wild smile on his face, having abandoned "The Secret of the Primordial Dragon-Tiger Scripture" for "Taiyin’s Infinite True Scripture", the handso Daoist’s aura skyrocketed once again. In the blink of an eye, endless cold black mist spread infinitely.

"Qi Xiu, your defeat is certain!"
