Have I known him for long? Well, hes been my personal broker for a while now, but I cannot say that it has really been that long since we established our partnership.
He seems to be quite an excellent broker, which isnt really a surprise to , since I employed the services of his father who was also a broker back in the day.

So Lukes father was a broker? That would an that he actually continues a family tradition of working in the brokers profession. And since his father was the one serving as the Duke of Hartzs personal broker, then thats so pretty powerful connection and quite a lifeline for him, even more so since it technically gives him access to doing business with both the noble family of Bode and the Knight Order of Hartz Duchy, and he probably inherited a lot, if not all of the connections that his father mustve established. Talk about having a nice and easy start in the business.

I passed the letter of introduction over to the servant and allowed him to guide us into the building, staying closely behind him the entire ti. We stopped when we reached the room near the entrance, after which he turned back towards us and went to fetch his master while telling us to wait here for a bit.

Upon the Slave traders indication, we followed after him, and he guided us to one of the room that were located at the back of the building, where we were invited to sit on the sofa and partake of the herbal tea that was prepared for us.
Now, notice how I said that wewere invited to sit on the sofa and that there were threeherbal teas prepared for us instead of just one? Yeah, exactly. Normally those would be nothing but small details unworthy attention, but to that was actually a huge deal, since it shows that this Slave rchant actually recognizes Roxanne and Sherry as my fellow companions and not just so objects or accessories to my own person, which raised my opinion of him to so extent.
As I was sitting on the sofa, I took a sip of the herbal tea. As expected of Imperial City, its taste was exquisitely delicious.
Since I gave him a letter of introduction, in which the purpose of my visit here today should be exquisitely stated, then there shouldnt be any misunderstandings about coming here today in order to sell Roxanne or Sherry, and that is going to save us a lot of ti that would otherwise have to be wasted on needless explanations.
