Although the crystalline block near the handle was still intact, the magic array had been damaged, rendering the spell defense completely ineffective. The tower shield was scrapped and couldn't withstand another hit.
Several ninjas jumped out of the shadows beside Miyoshi Xuesen, dragging him away as far from the increasingly tumultuous bridge as possible.

The entire ship shook violently. With nearly a hundred combat chs lost in succession, no one dared approach the vicinity of the bridge.
In particular, the spiritual parasitism of the Parasitic Species had even ensnared an S-class esper, causing others to be increasingly reluctant to act rashly.
The three-dinsional holographic projections inside the bridge had all disappeared, ceasing normal operation, leaving the forrly empty cabin in utter disarray. Craters, holes, and rending marks were everywhere, with even the transparent portholes covered in spiderweb-like cracks of various sizes.

The fragnted golden color in his pupils grew more dazzling, with scales covering Chen Fei's shoulders. The monstrous strength erupting from his arms made even the suspected divine breed Parasitic Species wary, unwilling to clash with him head-on.
Wielding the "Godslaying Spear" in one hand with powerful stabs and thrusts, and the elusive "Blood Spike" in the other, Chen Fei maneuvered like a shadow to each thrown weapon's mark. The combination of the straightforward and the unexpected long weapons left the Parasitic Species opponent's head aching.

With his left hand, he casually threw the "Blood Spike," while his right hand thrust the "Godslaying Spear" forcefully, launching into a new round of combat.

The imnse commotion from the bridge once again shook the entire ship. Those hiding in other cabins couldn't help but start to believe that the airship might very well crash due to this earth-shattering battle.
Though it was just a guess, the ship was indeed getting closer to the sea surface and would soon land on water.
The enormous impact released by spiritual power directly interfered with reality, flinging Chen Fei up and causing him to smash into the wall. Sliding down, he imdiately crouched, pushed off the wall with all his strength, and propelled himself forward once more.

Even though only a few rounds had elapsed in those ten or so seconds, Chen Fei had already gone all out, exhausting his deck of cards. Now he was almost spent, with no tricks left up his sleeve and unable to hold on for much longer.
On the other hand, his opponent, though occasionally flustered, had never truly been thrown off balance and was visibly adapting to Chen Fei's tactics.
The real gap in class and rank couldn't be bridged by a few clever tricks.
As ti passed, who would ultimately fall behind was evident to Chen Fei from the start.
No more cards to play, and having just regained so sanity, he couldn't withstand the spiritual power attacks without the "Soul Guarding Seal," despite not being parasitized by the opponent's spiritual power.

A woman with flowing white hair zipped in at lightning speed, pressing her hand on the divine breed's face and slamming it down hard.

The second flagship quaked violently as if on the brink of disintegration.
The bridge floor broke open with a three-ter-wide hole, penetrating the cabins below and extending to the very bottom of the ship, revealing the undulating sea surface below.

A massive water column shot up, nearly touching the bottom of the ship.
The small elental storm poised to erupt vanished as if a dream, as if nothing had happened.
The countdown on the Elent Annihilation Bomb beside Chen Fei froze at the final two seconds, with "Adam" halting the detonation sequence in ti.
