Chen Fei, while still in Nandu City, didn't consider himself an outsider in front of Minante, and the two were good friends without fault.

The issue was that the newly arrived Squad 47 also didn't see themselves as outsiders, treating courtesy as a blessing, which was indeed a serious problem.

It was probably that their ntality hadn't changed, treating everyone within the four seas as hostile, still acting as if Nandu City were Blue Star. They not only bossed around the Local Snakes "Hundred-Legs Gang" but also displayed the sa attitude toward the nieces and nephews of the "Radiant Tiger" legion, truly acting as though they were the main dish themselves.

Not to ntion that the "Radiant Tiger" legion was extrely displeased with these unwelco guests, but even the Ground Portal Gate Managent Substation was notably cold toward these fellows.

The previously cooperative Local Snakes "Hundred-Legs Gang" of Nandu City was even more direct, increasingly insincere, only interested in money, hardly working, or else bringing a pile of dubious intelligence to deceive, causing Squad 47 to run ragged and offend many.

Squad 47 was well aware that relying solely on themselves, in the unfamiliar territory of Nandu City, the tasks they could accomplish were indeed very limited, made even harder by the uncooperative local forces, making the task of searching for and exterminating the Parasitic Species increasingly challenging and unavoidably thwarted at every step.

Boerzhake, a squad mber who had just single-handedly demolished three civilian hos, his triangular eyes gleaming maliciously, beca impatient as he kicked each weeping and annoyingly distressed commoner into the ruins, turning to complain, "(Fxxk) So annoying! Another damn wasted trip, we really should hang those lying thugs on street lamps."

There weren't any virtuous saints in Squad 47, only concerned with locating and exterminating Parasitic Species, completely ignoring everything else.

How could these unard commoners be a match for them? Even if they dared to show temporary valor, not being killed on the spot was already a rcy from the compassionate and righteous.

"Are there no other gangs in Nandu City? This 'Hundred-Legs Gang' is becoming increasingly unreasonable."

Another squad mber, Duobalo, after speaking, turned and shouted at the still sobbing commoners.

"Shut up, stop your wailing! Cry again, and we'll kill you!"

anwhile, he swung his magic wand, sending several rounds of solidified water blades slicing through the broken walls, instantly quieting the cries.

Far from ho, the king's commands hold no sway!

As an elite squad representing Blue Star Sovereignty on an interstellar mission, to kill a person or two needed no permissions or reports, and what of the collateral damage? With the grand cause of exterminating Parasitic Species in mind, any sacrifice was deed worthy, at most they would invoke diplomatic immunity, truly enabling them to do as they pleased.

"Enough! Cut out this useless talk, Nandu City has just experienced a war, there is no second gang left."

Squad Leader ng Hai had heard his team mbers complain like this more than once.

Another failure could already foresee yet another reprimand from the higher-ups of Blue Star Sovereignty, as the officials would still care about saving face, even if they truly didn't treat people as people.

Due to repeated fruitless efforts, the pressure on the squad was escalating.

In a recent communication report, dissatisfaction from the Silan Royal Family had been subtly conveyed by their superiors.

Kejinyinna, a Grade-A Psychic Ability User and mber of Squad 47, speculated, "Could it be that 'Rookie' thinks we're here to pick off the easy targets, so he deliberately held back?"

Before the transition, the person codenad "Rookie" had made several significant gains, precisely because he had identified multiple Parasitic Hosts, leading Blue Star Sovereignty to negotiate with the Silan Royal Family to dispatch them, partly to execute exterminations and partly to gather relevant intelligence.

However, after the handover, Squad 47's performance was disappointing; they failed to locate the originator spreading Mutated Parasitic Spawn, and their few achievents were rely limited to hosts of the Mutated Parasitic Spawn, and killing more of them accomplished nothing.

Now the squad was stuck in an operational quandary, inevitably leading to suspicions that Chen Fei was sabotaging them.

"Kejinyinna, it's not what you think. In fact, we are here to pick off the easy targets. What status does that guy have? Can he represent sovereignty? This task should be ours to begin with; that ordinary citizen should stop ddling."

If Chen Fei weren't a citizen of the First Sovereign of Blue Star, Boerzhake's words would likely be even more unrestrained and harsher.

"Don't think about all that nonsense. Focus on our tasks, everyone back to vehicle!"

Seeing his team mbers about to enter a collective rant mode, Squad Leader ng Hai tily interrupted the topic and ordered everyone to board the Mobile Base Vehicle and return to their station.

The station for Squad 47 was provided by the Ground Portal Gate Managent Substation.

The area around Nandu City is now the jurisdiction of the "Radiant Tiger" legion. Squad 47 did not trust those rebels; the guardians of the portals on the Cangqiong Star side were also Blue Star People. With everyone's higher-ups being the sa Sovereignty, using it as a base was not only reliable but also provided sufficient supplies.

Just returned to the Ground Portal Gate Managent Substation in the Suburbs of Nandu City, Squad 47 saw another Mobile Base Vehicle, which was the original model of the one they were riding in, including Squad Leader ng Hai, everyone knew who had arrived.

Although the vehicle manufacturing company had already transferred the relevant technical data, Chen Fei's personal use and continuous improvent was not limited by any restrictions. The patent laws only protected comrcial operations, not personal play.

Seeing another Mobile Base Vehicle that looked very similar outside, Grade-A Earth Elent Ability User Boerzhake suddenly thought of sothing and started shouting loudly.

"Captain, that guy is back, definitely up to no good!"

In his eyes, "Rookie" had ill-intentions, definitely coming to poach their job and send Squad 47 back to Blue Star to take over the tasks in Nandu City himself.

"Just kill him and be done with it!"

"Yeah, yeah!"

"That settles it!"

There was no dissent in the scene, and the majority of Squad 47 mbers happily ca to an agreent.

An ill-intentioned visitor ans there's nothing good coming; they might as well send him off in a western direction — see, that's considerate service right to your doorstep.

"You guys, are you all insane? Can you give a break?"

Exhausted, ng Hai massaged his forehead. After all, he was the clear-headed one, or else he couldn't possibly be the captain.

These guys are quick to call for a fight; are they not afraid of attracting unnecessary trouble?

"Rookie" is a citizen of The First Sovereign, and no one dares to strike a citizen of The First Sovereign. They'd definitely be hung under a streetlight, and no one could do anything about it.

ng Hai, the captain of Squad 47, still had so authority within the team. At his word, the mbers who had been clamoring to teach Chen Fei a morable lesson imdiately ceased their clamor, shifted their gazes elsewhere, and acted as if nothing had happened, even the notoriously temperantal Boerzhake dared not make another sound.

The captain of Squad 47, ng Hai, spoke to the team mber driving the Mobile Base Vehicle, "Sharin, drive over there; I'm going to greet 'Rookie'."

"Roger that!"

Class B Wind-type Ability User Sharin specialized in operating and maintaining various vehicles. In addition to possessing combat Psi Skills, she also served as a chanic, an indispensable mber of the team.

The two Mobile Base Vehicles quickly moved closer together.

"Is anyone there?"

ng Hai got out of his vehicle and knocked on the side door of the adjacent Mobile Base Vehicle.

After a few knocks, the door slid open sideways.

"What's up?"

Chen Fei, who was showering inside the vehicle, had received a notification from the AI "Adam" at the first mont, informing him that Squad 47 had returned. He quickly finished washing up, and sure enough, soone ca knocking soon after.

The flagship of the Airship Battle Group lacked living facilities and was too massive in size; after landing, it was quickly stored in the "Spatial Branding" to switch to the more maneuverable and better equipped Mobile Base Vehicle, which, as usual, parked adjacent to the Ground Portal Gate Managent Substation.

"Can we talk?"

ng Hai looked into the cabin, where Chen Fei was alone.

"Please co in!"

Chen Fei nodded, stepped aside, and also glanced at the adjacent Mobile Base Vehicle.

Through the window, he saw the mbers of Squad 47 collectively gazing at him, much like hunters sizing up their prey.

Not concealing their hostility at all, with such emotional intelligence, it's no wonder they've incited wrath from both heaven and earth; even the Silan Royal Family found these guys to be thorns in their side.

"What would you like to drink?"

Chen Fei headed towards the constant temperature cabinet.

Operated by a dedicated compressor that transports heat, one part maintains cold, the other hot, offering exactly what one needs—so there are both cold and hot drinks available.

"Anything's fine, plain water will do."

ng Hai wasn't picky, he wasn't here for a tea party, so he left the choice to Chen Fei.

Chen Fei brewed two cups of hot tea, placing one in front of the captain of Squad 47 and another in his own spot before sitting face to face with him, waiting for him to speak.

If it wasn't urgent, you wouldn't visit the Temple of the Three Treasures. Chen Fei had already heard about the situation of Squad 47 from His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.

The other party had taken the initiative to visit, mostly to resolve their current predicant, but they would be loath to lower their pride easily.

ng Hai tentatively asked, "I'm not sure if you're aware of the situation with Squad 47?"

Both were intelligent, and he felt Chen Fei should understand his implication.

"Have you looked for reasons within yourselves?"

Chen Fei had indeed analyzed from their perspective, essentially it was a matter of 'I'm second only to heaven, and you're privileged not to bow to ', an attitude that naturally upset those entitled not to play along, leading to a collective boycott, but regrettably, their chauvinism made them feel invincible, resulting in a lonely outco as others simply wouldn't engage with them.

"I don't think it's our fault!"

Of course, ng Hai wouldn't admit any wrongdoing. They represented the Sovereignty, and the Sovereignty doesn't make mistakes; any mistakes would be others' fault.

Doesn't Sovereignty care about losing face?

"It's definitely not my fault, either!"

Chen Fei imdiately established a "firewall" to prevent any irrational bla-shifting by the other party.

Arguing with Sovereignty itself was illogical, for the logic of Sovereignty was artillery, missiles, and fists, not foolish babble.

If you don't want to resort to violence, then there's no logic to discuss.

"Heh," they both chuckled knowingly as they sat face to face.

Damn it all!!
