For manufacturers skilled in industrial mass production, the armor design of this mobile base vehicle was simply a cost nightmare. The military might applaud it, but the manufacturers would certainly avoid it, suffering a loss down to their last penny.
However, for Chen Fei, it was no issue at all; the self-repairing armor was already an overpowered feature on the battlefield.

With a total weight close to eighty tons, the giant was quite like a train head; the covered trucks were as fragile as paper models, instantly shattered, with even engines flying out. Had the vehicle fuel had a lower ignition point, able to ignite in normal and low temperatures, it would likely have exploded into flas upon impact.
Even so, an oven inside one of the truck beds sparked a fire which successfully lit the canvas, with flas stubbornly rising.
The mobile base vehicle paused slightly, then surged forward, causing more shouts and frantic scrambling.
After all, if one did not dodge in ti, they were likely to be crushed into a pancake by the vehicle's wheels.
The people finally seed to guess what the enormous machine intended and yelled themselves hoarse, telling the two trucks to escape quickly—but sadly, it was too late.

All four trucks were thus smashed into utter scrap.
The mobile base vehicle, in autopilot mode, headed east. Chen Fei sat calmly in the carriage, drinking post-dinner tea. Outside, darkness enveloped everything, leaving only the glow of fire rising from the road behind, growing more distant.
The crackling of gunfire bade a noisy farewell as the mobile base vehicle continued on its way.
"Aren't you going to kill them?"
Tanya was puzzled that Chen Fei hadn't delivered a lethal blow, baffled by the forr most ferocious Clan Leader of the Neanderthal tribe's sudden show of rcy.
