In a corner of the Aircrew Base, blocks of alloy ingots with mixed components vanished from Chen Fei's hands, leaving the boss of Spring Field Defense, Zuo Gengming, gaping in astonishnt.
"Darn, they say Special Abilities have a wide range of peculiar powers, countless in number, so peculiar that even the elental classification standards from Cangqiong Star can't fully encompass them. Now seeing this, it's indeed the case."
This experience had refreshed his understanding of Special Abilities, and he was extrely curious as to where thousands of tons of tal had gone.
"Turned into Energy Points!"
Chen Fei wasn't lying.
"Oh! Matter into energy..." Zuo Gengming stroked his head, wow, this Special Ability is a bit high-end!
The mass-energy equivalence formula E=mc2 was around a hundred years ago, not exactly a novelty.
But to fully implent this mathematical formula wasn't as easy as mastering the "Magic Cube Law," one of the two major airship systems today. Humanity had spent a thousand years to truly grasp the "Magic Cube Law."
Before that, the "Magic Cube Law" was rely a simple toy cube, who could have imagined it would beco the anti-gravity field power source for large aircraft, enabling free flight within the atmosphere and completely overturning the previous aerodynamic flight mode.
Energy Points: 4853/10000
Not even including the rare earth tals from Zuo Gengming's family heirloom, Chen Fei had already amassed nearly five thousand Energy Points.
He casually browsed the Skill Shop.
1. Remote Control System Module: 3000 Energy Points
2. Subsonic Oscillation Module: 5000 Energy Points
3. Sound Unit: 200 Energy Points
4. Universal Joint: 500 Energy Points
5. Non-destructive Magnetic Dual-Mode Suspended Bearing: 100 Energy Points
6. Tactical Neutron Bomb: 500,000 Energy Points
7. Particle Acceleration Component: 100 Energy Points
8. Old Sow Cannon: 5 Energy Points
9. Railgun Optimization and Coordination Plan: 1000 Energy Points
10. Working dium Engine: 770,000 Energy Points
Note: Updated every 24 hours
At least half looked decent, but a tactical neutron bomb... Is that thing even real?
Is this sothing for personal use?
A tactical neutron bomb is way more powerful than a Dragon Slayer Missile. If soone planned to go for Mutual Annihilation, the Dragon Slayer Missile might offer a glimr of hope for survival, but a neutron bomb is certain death with zero chance of survival, even taking a large group of unlucky people along, all bound for the afterlife together.
Thankfully, priced at 500,000 Energy Points, Chen Fei, who was poor in both Energy Points and Star Yuan, couldn't afford it. Otherwise, he might have been tempted to ss with it.
Curiosity killed the cat, oh well...
And what on earth is this Old Sow Cannon listed as the 8th item?
Only 5 Energy Points, is the Dog System serious?
It must be another scam to trick people out of their Energy Points!
Chen Fei wasn't new to knowing how unreliable the Dog System's "Skill Shop" could be.
"Sound Unit: 200 Energy Points," GOT!
Having already bought "Audio Managent Module" and "microphone," he wasn't going to miss out on an external "Sound Unit." Maybe he could play so music with it, and at least those 200 Energy Points weren't too expensive.
"Particle Acceleration Component: 100 Energy Points," GOT!
He had previously exchanged Energy Points for a "Basic Particle Beam (upgradeable)," only to be notified after receipt that it was missing a "Particle Acceleration Component," rendering it inoperable. The Dog System was crafty like that, always finding ways to shear the Energy Points sheep.
"Railgun Optimization and Coordination Plan: 1000 Energy Points," GOT!
It seed sowhat related to railgun weapons, unclear whether he could develop advanced railgun weapons from it.
Energy Points -1300!
Energy Points: 3553/10000
Deciding not to choose anymore for now, Chen Fei refrained from looking at other skills in the Skill Shop. A few were out of reach, so were traps, and many more were useless, not worth keeping, yet a sha to discard.
As long as he had Energy Points to spare, he could occasionally find sothing worthwhile in the "Skill Shop."
Like the "Old Sow Cannon" for 5 Energy Points, heck, he wouldn't even take it for free.
The "My Skills" list was once again arbitrarily reorganized by the Dog System, rging many skills together. Although it didn't affect their use—they were all still there, not a single one missing—Chen Fei felt a certain dissatisfaction, feeling cheated.
Damn, the Dog System had broken the skills down to swindle Energy Points, and now it rged them back, ironclad evidence of its duplicity!
Like "Light/Electric/Magnetic/Crystal Energy Universal Converter and Managent Component," gosh, how many skills had it consud?
Originally, individual skills weren't expensive, mostly in the hundreds, with the priciest ones at no more than 1000 Energy Points. Now, after all was said and done... he felt like he had been slaughtered like a pig!
And "tal Shaping|Replication|Material Simulation," "Elental Decomposition/Synthesis" rged so many skills it was like shearing several rounds of his Energy Points.
No wonder his balance of Energy Points had long been in a state of poverty, all due to the forceful exploitation by the Dog System.
Down with the Dog System!
...
Chen Fei shifted his gaze away from the interface in front of him and let out a long sigh, then turned his attention to Zuo Gengming, who was waiting on the side.
"Lastly, it's your mine equipnt, Old Zuo."
Once the remaining thousand tons of tals were received, the transaction between the two would be successfully completed.
"No problem, let's get going!"
Zuo Gengming snapped his fingers. A thousand tons of tal was hardly an issue for him.
Old Zuo's family heirloom mine had accumulated a pile of old mining equipnt, the oldest dating back more than a hundred years, nearly every kind of antique was there. Unlike the Aircrew Base, which had to relt to save space and for environntal reasons, they were simply discarded into an abandoned mine pit, free for the taking with self-arranged transportation. The capitalists wouldn't spend a di to deal with the scrap.
