Chapter 514 The Truth
"Officer Seryu, what's wrong?" Haru asked, looking at the young woman whose hair was tied in a ponytail. He was using his new Teigu and activated it right away. He saw her breasts were quite flat even though it seed quite perky from the outside.
Seryu didn't realize that her body had been peeked by Haru and said, "Captain Haru, I'll bring you justice for the thing that you have done!"
"It's not Captain Haru, but Chief Haru," Haru said. The announcent of his new rank would be announced tomorrow and it was normal for this girl to not know about it since he had just co back from the palace.
"Chief Haru?" Seryu was a bit surprised since she didn't expect Haru to raise his rank quickly.
"So can you tell what is happening? Why did you want to bring justice to ? Have I done sothing wrong?" Haru asked. He knew that he had done a lot of wrong things such as asking for a bribe.
"Why did you steal the wealth from Captain Ogre's wife? Captain Ogre is my teacher and his wife is also very kind! Why did you do such a thing?" Seryu asked loudly.
'Oh, that woman.' Haru shook his head and thought how troubleso that woman was, but looked at Seryu from up and down. He could see that this girl's sense of justice was very twisted and thought to solve this problem early since he didn't want to kill the girl in the Night Raid since he had another plan with them. "Seryu, do you have a plan after this?"
Seryu raised her eyebrow and said, "No, I don't have one. What's wrong?"
"If you don't have a plan then why don't you follow ? Let show you the truth in the Capital," Haru said.
"Truth in the Capital?" Seryu said with a confused expression, but she nodded since she was quite curious.
Seryu saw Haru who had brought him to the Ogre's house. "What are we doing here?"
"Shh… Listen quietly," Haru said.
"Hmm?" Seryu was confused, but suddenly she heard a strange noise coming from Ogre's house. She knew that the one who was living in this place was Captain Ogre's wife, but she heard the voice of soone else inside this house.
"It's good that your husband has died."
"Yes, that person isn't good. I only want you. You're stronger than him."
"What about his wealth?"
"You don't need to worry. I have hidden it in a lot of places. If only that Captain Haru isn't here then we should have more."
"Well, it can't be helped that your husband has made a lot of enemies."
"Yeah, that's why I hate him…"
"Then how about we do it again, Dear?"

Seryu, who wasn't innocent, knew what Ogre's wife was doing inside this house. Veins appeared on her forehead and she clenched her hand very hard. Captain Ogre had just died yet Ogre's wife had decided to search for a lover. "Coro, kill her. " She didn't hesitate to order her Teigu to eat Ogre's wife since she didn't think Ogre's wife to be such a person.
Haru hurriedly stopped Seryu and said, "You can't kill her now."
Seryu gritted her teeth and knew that she couldn't kill Ogre's wife.
"Captain Ogre has told before about his wife and he has told to donate all of his wealth to the poor people in the entire Empire. That is why I'm trying to get the wealth from Ogre's wife, but that woman has hidden it," Haru said. He knew that Captain Ogre had died and no one could confirm his lie. He was the police and he could change the darkness into white along with his raise in his position no one would dare to say anything.
Seryu nodded and looked at Haru with a sad expression. "I'm sorry, Chief Haru. I have done sothing wrong."
Haru smiled and patted Seryu's head. "You don't need to worry, everyone can make a mistake." He thought for a while and thought about solving her twisted sense of justice. "Do you care if you follow more?"
"Where are we going now?" Seryu asked. She also had decided to get all the wealth on Captain Ogre from Ogre's wife before she donated it to the poor people in the remote area.
"My house since I'm a bit hungry. I'll also give you a report about the people in the Capital," Haru said.
"Hungry? Report?" Seryu raised her eyebrow.
Seryu was sitting on the sofa while reading all the reports that she had gotten from Haru. She felt disillusioned by the beautiful Capital and didn't expect the Capital to hide such darkness.
"Wan……" Coro who was by Seryu's side seed to be sad when it saw its master's expression.
Seryu wasn't sure what to do right now.
"What do you think?" Haru asked while bringing two plates of pasta in his hands.
"I don't know. I don't know what I should do right now," Seryu said while moving her nose slightly since the sll of the food was really good.
"Then, follow . I'm going to fight them, and I need your help to do it," Haru said.
Seryu looked at Haru and asked, "So you'll fix everything?"
"Yes, I'll fix the Empire into a place where everyone can live in a smile and do that I need your help," Haru said.
"Chief Haru, let help you to do that!" Seryu said and felt quite excited.
"That's good, here, you should have dinner first," Haru said.
"Thank you!" Seryu said and started to eat the pasta. Her eyes brightened since it was her first ti tasting such delicious food.
"Wan! Wan!" Coro also seed to want to eat the pasta.
Haru looked at Coro and asked, "Is your Teigu need to eat?"
"Well, if possible…" Seryu said with quite an awkward tone.
"I'll bring so," Haru said and thought that his day wouldn't be that boring with this woman around.
