Soon, Ethan Yardley’s car arrived at the hospital.
Serena Yardley was frantic, afraid they’d be too late to see the child, so she hurried Nina Thorne to the hospital room she knew of.
Ethan Yardley followed behind the two won.
When the three of them reached the room, they found only Cynthia yer, Quinn Gardner, and a four-year-old girl with leukemia inside.
As Nina Thorne pushed the door open and walked in, she didn’t see her son. Instead, she saw her husband with another woman, caring for a different child.
She was stunned. It felt as if her world was about to collapse.
Quinn Gardner realized soone had arrived.
He turned to see the three people standing in the doorway.
A flicker of guilt crossed his face. He quickly walked over to her. "Honey, what are you doing here?"
Nina Thorne sidestepped Quinn Gardner’s touch. Her eyes, wide with disbelief, shifted between the little girl on the bed and the woman sitting beside her as she asked:
"Who are they?"
Quinn Gardner shot a sharp glare at Ethan Yardley before turning back to Nina Thorne.
"Honey, let’s talk outside. The child is young; don’t scare her."
"I’m asking you who they are."
Nina Thorne glared at Quinn Gardner, on the verge of breaking down, her eyes filled with fury.
"Quinn Gardner, answer ! Who are they? And what in God’s na have you done to my Leo?"
She grabbed him, screaming hysterically:
"Tell , where is my Leo? What are you trying to do? Whose child is this on the bed? And who is this woman? Say sothing!"
"WAAAH... WAAAH..."
Before Quinn Gardner could answer, the little girl on the bed began to cry in fear.
Cynthia yer, who was beside her, quickly stood up to soothe her.
"Clentine, don’t cry. There, there..."
Afraid of scaring the child further, Quinn Gardner grabbed Nina Thorne and began dragging her out of the room.
Nina Thorne went along, but at the doorway, she wrenched her arm free from his grasp and cried out in despair:
"Quinn Gardner, I don’t care what you’re planning! All I want is my child! Tell where he is! Just give him back to , please!"
She clung to him, her body trembling as she sobbed.
"Quinn, Leo is my life. I’m begging you, give him back to ."

Quinn Gardner knew he couldn’t hide it any longer.
He quickly pulled Nina Thorne into a tight embrace, trying to soothe her.
"Honey, we haven’t done anything to Leo. I’m so sorry. I’m sorry for hiding the fact that I have a daughter.
But... Clentine... she’s sick. Only Leo can save her, so I was hoping he would.
Honey, please help . As long as both children are okay, I promise I’ll spend the rest of my life making it up to you both. Please?"
Nina Thorne fell silent.
’What did I just hear?’
’My husband has another daughter.’
’And that daughter needed my son to save her... ’
’My son is only five years old.’
’How could a child so young save soone else?’
Nina Thorne felt as if she’d been struck by lightning. It was utterly unbelievable, unbearable.
Shaking her head, she lost control and grabbed Quinn Gardner, screaming hoarsely:
"Tell where Leo is! Take to him! Quinn Gardner, take to him!"
"Honey, calm down. I’ll take you. He’s in another room."
Now that everything was out in the open, Quinn Gardner knew the only way forward was to convince his wife. He didn’t dare hide anything from her anymore and decided to take her to their son first.
After the two of them left, Serena Yardley and Ethan Yardley remained at the doorway, equally stunned.
Especially Serena Yardley.
As she ca to her senses, she slowly walked into the room. Watching Cynthia yer soothe the crying girl, she asked in disbelief:
"This little girl is Quinn Gardner’s daughter... so what about you? What’s your relationship with him?"
’The child couldn’t possibly be Cynthia yer’s.’
’Cynthia is still so young.’
’But this child looks three or four years old.’
’Her relationship with Quinn Gardner surely isn’t what it looks like.’
Cynthia yer hadn’t expected Serena Yardley to be here.
She also didn’t know what Serena’s relationship was with Mr. Quinn.
While cradling the child in her arms, she said, "My sister gave birth to this child."
Serena Yardley fell silent.
’So Quinn Gardner was Cynthia yer’s brother-in-law?’

Serena Yardley felt that even she couldn’t accept this reality, let alone Nina.

Ethan Yardley reached out and pulled her into his arms.

Serena Yardley couldn’t help but cry.
"Nina is the kindest person I’ve ever t. She cos from a prestigious family, but she’s never acted like a spoiled heiress.
She’s gentle, generous, easygoing, and kind-hearted. What did she do wrong? Why would the Grant Family treat her and her child like this?
How could they be so outrageous? Nina’s child is only five. What right do they have to forcibly detain her son to save another child without her consent?"
Tears stread down Serena Yardley’s face as she looked at Ethan Yardley, heartbroken.
"I won’t interfere in their affairs. I know it’s not my place. But I just want to be there for Nina."
She pulled away from Ethan Yardley’s embrace and headed in the direction Nina Thorne and the others had gone.
Ethan Yardley followed her. "Serena, don’t cry. I’ll stay with you."
Serena knew how to be grateful, and besides, Nina Thorne had always been good to her.
If she was staying, how could he possibly leave first?
The two of them arrived at the door of another VIP room and heard crying from inside before they even entered.
Nina Thorne was hugging her son on the hospital bed, sobbing her heart out.
The child, too, began to cry the mont he saw his mother, his small body trembling.
He sobbed out his complaint, "Mommy, they stuck with a needle! It hurts so much! I don’t want to be here anymore! Mommy, take away, quick!"
"Okay, Leo, don’t be scared. Mommy’s taking you ho right now."
Nina Thorne quickly wiped the tears from her son’s cheeks, picked him up, and turned to leave.
But Mrs. Grant stepped forward to block her way.
"Nina, please, have so pity on Clentine. If Leo donates his bone marrow, she can live. Then you’ll have two children."
Hearing this, Nina Thorne’s fury reached its peak.
She glared at Mrs. Grant, her teeth clenched in rage.
"Your Grant Family not only deceived into this marriage, but you also tried to force my son to have his bone marrow extracted. I won’t let this go.
And now you expect to save the daughter he had with another woman? In your dreams."
"Honey, I know it was my fault for hiding this from you, but the child is innocent."
Quinn Gardner stepped forward, his expression filled with sorrow as he looked at his wife and son and pleaded:

Even though she had loved him since childhood, even though they grew up together, even though he had once been her dream.
But from this mont on, they were over.
For the rest of her life, she wanted nothing more to do with him.
"Quinn Gardner, listen to carefully. I will have my lawyer deliver the Divorce Agreent to you as soon as possible. As for you imprisoning my son and trying to extract his marrow... I’ll settle that score with you later."
She was determined to leave with her son in her arms.
Quinn Gardner froze, not trying to stop her this ti.
Mrs. Grant raised a hand and called out, "Nina..."
Nina Thorne didn’t answer. Holding her child, she walked up to Ethan Yardley and asked, "Can you take ho?"
"Yes."
Ethan Yardley agreed and led the two won and the child away.
Once they were in the car, Serena Yardley couldn’t stop looking at the child in Nina Thorne’s arms.
He seed terrified, his face pale, but he was a very handso and delicate-featured boy.
Seeing Nina silently crying, Serena Yardley pulled out a tissue and offered it to her.
Nina Thorne took the tissue, her gaze shifting to Ethan Yardley. "You knew about the Grant Family’s sche too, didn’t you?"
