The last two rewards he had to check were the Lifeless Hourglass and the Coffin of a Thousand Ends, and both items were extrely useful in their own ways.

Especially the Lifeless Hourglass.

----

[Lifeless Hourglass- Can freeze a person’s death mont for up to three hours, suspending them between life and death. It has a hidden function.]

----

When Corey saw this item, he was astounded because he never imagined that the Universal System would give him such an item.

Although the item showed no grade, Corey did not even care about that at all. What he cared about was the function of the item, and its capabilities.

The ability to suspend a person between life and death, to freeze a person’s death for up to three hours was a lifesaver.

"If I had this... Would I..." Corey paused as his mind went to his master, Old Man Poison. "... If I had this, would I have been able to save Old Man Poison?"

Corey looked down, as he recalled the tis he spent with Old Man Poison.

He recalled how the man always berated him because he did not make the poison path his main path, and how he was always stunned and baffled by his rapid rate of progress in the art of progress.

Sigh

Corey inhaled, and then exhaled deeply as he shifted his mind away from the past. He ca back to the present.

"When I saw the description of the Lifeless Hourglass, I was curious. If I’m able to completely heal sobody while freezing the person’s death, will the person co back to life?"

"And what is the limit of this item? How frequently can I use it? And what is the Tier limit of this item? Or is it dependent on my Tier? The stronger I am, the higher the Tier it’ll be able to act on."

"No."

"That’s wrong. It’s not a bound item or a growth item... I guess I’ll just wait for my Stars of Consciousness to figure out its capabilities or I figure it out myself when I use it."

Corey’s gaze suddenly went to the words, Hidden Function. He was also curious as to what the hidden function was, and how he could activate it.

His gaze shifted to the next item, and it was literally an item that was solely ant for torture.

----

[Coffin of a Thousand Ends- A portable spatial coffin that traps enemies inside a nightmare of their own deaths until their soul shatters.]

----

When it ca to torture, Corey had multiple ways to torture sobody, and if he was being honest, this was the least useful reward out of all the rewards that was given to him by the Universal System.

He had painful echo to cause imnse pain to an individual. He could also cause one to experience nightmares, and he could also use his knowledge of poisons, herbs, and the human anatomy to cause so much pain to an individual.

He had so many thods, and the Coffin of a Thousand Ends was not an item he truly needed.

However, he still accepted it because there was a difference between the coffin and his abilities.

With his abilities, he needed to use his energies.

With the coffin, he only needed the body of the unlucky soul.

"Hmm."

Corey humd softly as he finished his observation of the coffin before shifting his attention to the Maledro’s Gu in his Poison Infinity Crystal.

Although it took him a week to start going through his rewards, he had accepted the first two rewards he got in the Dying City.

The Maledro’s Gu Evolution Catalyst, and the Dawnsplit Fang.

He accepted these two rewards on the day the Chained Firmant above appeared in their world.

"Hmm?" He suddenly looked at the entrance to his room with a frown.

As for the main reason he did not accept his rewards till now, was because he had been extrely busy.

After the announcent of the Universal System, Serithal, the Kingdom of Miracles, and the Haven Continent beca extrely chaotic.

The dungeon breaks that had happened in Serithal beca more dangerous because so individuals decided to abandon Serithal and leave for the nearest golden chain.

This made the battle more difficult, and Corey had to get involved at so point because he was still affiliated with Serithal and the Kingdom of Miracles for now.

During that chaos, he planned on subtly killing every monster that was in the capital, but to his surprise, Pala suddenly appeared.

And it was not only Pala. Selene, Kiefer, and Willow also appeared around him, taking him by surprise.

He could rember how surprised he was by their improvent, and how stunned he was when he saw the King of the Kingdom of Miracles, Jeremy Draker also approaching him with a small group of elite soldiers behind him.

At first, he thought he would have to battle Jeremy Draker back then, but Pala explained the situation that they were all allies.

He could recall the skeptical look that Jeremy Draker had given him when Pala said that, and he completely understood why.

He was a Tier 3.

He was not even Tier 4, and Pala spoke as if both him and her were equals.

He rembered how annoying the situation almost beca because of Pala, but eventually, he did not beco anything worse.

However, that made him have a connection with Jeremy Draker and the remaining elites of the Kingdom of Miracles.

Due to several more situations which he regarded as annoying, he had to constantly engage in battles to prevent other organizations on the Haven Continent from having control of the golden chain on Haven Continent.

With him and Pala, they destroyed a lot of enemy bases, prevented and foiled enemy attacks, and caused a lot of destruction to so enemy organizations that have been a thorn on Jeremy Draker’s neck.

Although Pala did more of the work since Corey tried to prevent everybody from knowing his true prowess.

However, to another extrely annoying situation, he got into a spar with Jeremy Draker during that week.

And he won.

Much to the shock of everybody that knew about the spar, and did not know about his true prowess.

After that day, Corey ca to realize an extrely horrifying and extrely annoying personality of Jeremy Draker.

"Ryan. Let’s spar."

Jeremy Draker, the King of the Miracle Kingdom... was a training freak.
