The carriage beca silent after Jin's strange behaviour.
Chloe and Ava were curious as to what happened to Jin, but they didn't think too much about it at all.
They tried to engage in conversations with Corey, but when Corey showed complete disinterest despite their nurous efforts, they stopped.
anwhile, Jin was completely different. He was quiet and would sotis glance at Corey with a baffled and wary expression.
He could feel it in himself that there was sothing he was ant to rember but he had forgotten.
No matter how hard he tried, he could not recall this thought he was constantly having.
His gaze would subconsciously land on Corey's brown eyes before looking away without much thought.
As for Corey, his gaze was on the window beside him.
Although it looked like he was enjoying the passing scenery of the sparse trees and buildings in the distance, his mind was on sothing else.
He recalled Jin's behaviour a few minutes ago, and his eyes flickered as countless thoughts ca and went in his mind.
'He was able to break through the illusion I placed on my eyes... No... Break through isn't the right word... Is there even a right word for it?'
'He was extrely agitated, and his mind, spirit, and soul were hyperactive at that mont... But that doesn't make any sense...'
'... How could he have seen through the illusion when he's so weak?'
'Or is it the extrely rare phenonon where the spirits of two individuals et on the sa wavelength for a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a second?'
'When this happens, the two individuals are in a way exposed to one another... The two individuals are able to see the true state of one another?'
'I doubt Jin saw my true state, because from what I can sense through Soul Perception, his soul is too weak for him to see my true state.'
'He would have fallen unconscious imdiately if that happened.'
'That's the only explanation I can co up with, but it still does not make any sense and does not explain a lot of things.'
Sigh
Corey let out a soft sigh, causing Jin, Chloe, and Ava to look at him.
He sensed their gazes, but he didn't bother sparing them a glance.
'At least I made sure to remove the mories of my eyes from his mind.'
Corey glanced at Jin from the corner of his eyes before shifting his gaze to the front of the carriage.
Although he had forgotten to put an illusion over his face before entering the carriage, he decided to put an illusion over his eyes.
He had three unique eyes, and each of them stood out.
His Eyes of Dream and Nightmares, along with his Eyes of Omniscience, and his Tri-Pupil Eye were not common cabbages that could be seen just anywhere in the universe.
Talk less of a small unofficial kingdom like the Kingdom of Miracles.
'I chose to put an illusion over my eyes instead of my entire face because I felt that an illusion over my face might be easily noticed instead of an illusion over my eyes.'
'I completely forgot that my beauty was going to be a problem... Why do I feel like a woman who has to wear a veil over her face to protect herself from danger because of her imnse beauty?'
Corey's lips twitched as he lampooned inwardly.
'Hmm... I'm going to be using the power of illusions for a very long ti.'
'I might eventually beco the Lord of Illusions.'
Corey lampooned inwardly, and a small smile appeared on his lips.
Three seconds later, his expression beca stoic, and his eyes flashed as he looked into the distance.
He could see faint outlines of towering structures beginning to appear in the far distance, and he knew that this was the capital of the Kingdom of Miracles.
Although neither Jin, Chloe, or Ava had told him, he knew that their destination was the Capital of the Kingdom of Miracles- Serithal.
What Jin or the others had no idea of was that throughout the journey, Corey was constantly obtaining new information on the Kingdom of Miracles.
His Ears of Omniscience and Eyes of Omniscience were constantly active, and through his Ears of Omniscience, he could even hear countless discussions that were going on in the capital that was still kiloters away from them.
Although most of the information he was getting were absolute nonsense and was not needed, there were so that were extrely useful and increased his knowledge of the Kingdom.
So information was also broken and he had no idea what they ant, however, he knew that they were important and could prove useful in the future.
His Stars of Consciousness were constantly deleting any information he heard that was needed with a terrifying efficiency, and it wouldn't be a lie to say that Corey knew the secrets of so many people in the capital.
'Hmm... There are so interesting things going on in the capital... What should I do? What should my next plan be?'
Corey's eyes flashed with the light of excitent at what he called... A new chapter in his life.
'Hmm?'
So seconds later, Corey frowned because he noticed another carriage stopping at the gates of the capital.
This was not the first carriage he had seen entering the capital through his Eyes of Omniscience, but because they were far from the capital, and he chose not to increase the output of his Eyes of Omniscience, he had not been able to see clearly.
However, with the distance between them and the capital growing closer with each passing second, he noticed sothing that he had ignored before.
'Is that a pass?... An identity pass?'
'Interesting... Wait... That's not all.'
'There's also a strange detection device on the gate?... What does it do?'
Corey narrowed his eyes, and the glow in his eyes increased as he increased the output of his Eyes of Omniscience and focused on the gates of the Capital.
'A device to detect if one is a human?'
