A carriage rocked gently as it passed through a twisting dirt road that led to the gates of Kingdom of Miracles. The rumbles of the reinforced wheels rolling over uneven terrain filled the silence.
In the carriage, Corey sat with his eyes closed and his arms folded as he ignored the three other individuals that were either straight up staring at him or taking short glances at him with varying emotions.
He could understand why they were constantly staring at him, and he could also feel their wariness and curiosity as they looked at him.
His appearance and physique.
Although he hid his aura to not make people like these to be fearful or overly submissive around him, he had forgotten about his appearance.
Because he had been in the Underworld where it was not so rare to see extrely handso individuals- though they could not be compared to Corey's beauty- Corey was used to just brief glimpses at him from the Underworld residents.
However, in the outside world where the average Tier of the world were Tier 2s?
His appearance stuck out like a sore thumb.
Sitting beside the two won and one man that was in the sa carriage with him, they could as well be mud that had been stepped on and shat on.
'Unfortunately, I don't have a transformation skill to change my appearance... But I can choose to wear a mask or use Infinite Mirage to place an illusion all over my face.'
'Hmm... I'll have to do that once I enter the Kingdom of Miracles... Not too ugly, not average, and not too handso... Just handso enough to be regarded as a 7/10... Maybe an 8 is better?'
'Hmmm... Tough.'
If the three guards and the driver knew of Corey's thoughts, even they would not know how they would react because they were tense.
Although Corey had hidden his aura, his aura as a Tier 3 still felt enormous to them.
They were rely early-stage Tier 2s, and their battle prowess was not extraordinary at all.
They knew of the wide gap between a Tier 3 and a Tier 2, and they knew their limits. Even though the strange unknown man in front of them did not seem to have evil intentions towards them, that did not an that they were going to let down their guard.
Jin, one of the male Tier 2s summoned up the courage to talk because the tense atmosphere was killing him.
Before Corey's arrival, they had been conversing and joking around, but after Corey stopped their carriage and requested to board their carriage, the atmosphere had beco tense.
'We allowed him to enter with us because we didn't want to lose anybody to a Tier 3. But... I can't take it anymore... It's so tense, scary, and bloody boring... I feel like I'll lose my mind.'
Jin cleared his throat, much to the disbelief of his companions.
Corey raised a brow, and opened his right eye slightly. He looked at Jin, making Jin to subconsciously shiver.
"Sorry, but what's your na... Esteed Sir? I believe that this journey would be much better if it was not so... uhm..."
Corey raised a brow, "Tense?"
Jin hurriedly shook his head with a tinge of fear, "No, no. I ant to say... uhm... quiet... Yes, quiet."
Jin could feel his companions' gazes piercing his skin like extrely sharp daggers, and cold sweat appeared on his forehead.
Corey smiled, "Call , Anon."
"Anon?" Jin's lips twitched, and he could not help it.
'If you don't want to say it, then don't... What is Anon? Are you trying to look cool?'
Jin glanced at the his female companions, and when he saw that their expressions as they looked at Corey was like that of a gluttonous beast, his heart could not help but squeeze and a wry smile appeared on his lips.
'Of course. Handso dicks like him always have it all... Power, money, and won.'
Jin obviously did not dare to say his thoughts out loud or who knew what the insanely handso and unknown Tier 3 would do to him.
However, little did he know that Corey could read him like an open book.
It was extrely easy for him because his facial expressions were extrely easy for Corey to read.
Jin sighed out loud.
"My na is Jin, Mr Anon."
Corey nodded.
"And these two ladies are my companions. Their nas are-"
"Chloe."
"Ava."
Before Jin could even finish his words, Chloe and Ava introduced themselves with visible excitent and nervousness in their voices.
Corey glanced at them, and then he smiled as he nodded. The won blushed, but Corey returned his gaze back at Jin.
He saw his bothered and slightly sad expression, and Corey could not help but chuckle.
Jin and the two won were taken aback.
What was so funny?
Although they wished to ask, even Jin did not even have that much courage to ask.
He continued his introduction, "The driver's na is Sean, and all of us are guards for the Twin Coins rchant Guild."
"The Twin Coins rchant Guild?" Corey raised a brow, and Jin instantly noticed this.
"You've never heard of the Twin Coins rchant Guild?"
Jin asked with caution in his voice, and Corey calmly nodded without saying anything else.
"Hmm. Well, it's not surprising since our rchant Guild is still a mid-sized rchant guild... If I think about, you're probably more acquainted with the top rchant guilds like The Golden Grove, the Temple of Flas rchant Guilds, and other top rchant Guilds."
Corey's eyes flashed when he heard the words- Temple of Flas rchant Guilds.
He was not surprised that the Temple of Flas had a rchant Guild because one of the core identities of the Temple of Flas was that they had rchants all over the freaking universe.
He had so knowledge regarding the Temple of Flas, but he needed more.
Although he wasn't surprised by the fact that the Temple of Flas had a rchant Guild, what he was surprised about was the fact that they had a rchant Guild in the Kingdom of Miracles that was said to have been built by the Hero- Jeremy Draker to combat the Invaders.
'Well, I'm sure the Temple of Flas rchant Guild are benefiting the Kingdom of Miracles in so way.'
Corey said nothing in response to Jin's words, and this ti around, Jin was beginning to get uncomfortable because he felt like he was talking a lot for no reason.
'I better keep quiet before I look like a source of entertainnt to Chloe and embarrass myself.'
"Tell about the Kingdom of Miracles."
