The mont Corey slamd his hand on the ground, the shattered and molten remains of the golden orichalcum rods trembled, and in the blink of an eye, they flew towards Corey.
"Heaven's Remnant Ward."
Corey's voice echoed across the entire Trollspire Dungeon, and before the seventh lightning bolt descended on him, an extrely rough golden spherical barrier with cracks and molten liquid appeared around Corey.
The barrier had faint streaks of black lightning moving around it, and in the next second, the seventh lightning fell.
BANG!
The seventh lightning bolt crashed into the barrier, causing several fragnts to fly in different directions.
Fragnts of the barrier continuously fell as the bolt of black lightning moved from the northern part of the barrier to the southern part of the barrier.
Corey groaned as his body was impacted by several streaks of black lightning that caused his condition to worsen.
'One more... The Heaven's Remnant Ward can only handle one more lightning bolt.'
Despite the imnse pain and pressure he was going through, he continued analyzing the power of the Tribulation and the last formation he could use against the Tribulation.
The Heaven's Remnant Ward was no where as powerful as the Heaven Lock Array because it was designed to be a last resort in case the Heaven Lock Array could not last till the Lightning Tribulation was over.
Once the Heaven's Remnant Ward was activated, most individuals would take this as a sign to either run away and escape the lightning tribulation or as a sign for sobody much more powerful than them to destroy the lightning tribulation for them.
Although this was the use of the Heaven's Remnant Ward, Corey had no desire to run away from the lightning tribulation or destroy it.
He wanted to obtain all the benefits of the Lightning Tribulation, and to do that, he needed to absorb all the lightning energy from the Lightning Tribulation.
The eight lightning bolt fell.
BANG!
And the Heaven's Remnant Ward shattered.
Corey coughed out a mouthful of burning black blood, and then he looked up at the sky even with his entire body having cracks all around it.
His red eyes that was filled with veins looked at the heavens with a deathly calm expression despite his condition.
The heavens thundered in response at his gaze.
"Two more."
The mont Corey said these two words with the calst tone one could imagine, the ninth lightning bolt fell.
"Rhea."
Skreeeeee!
Corey called out, and Rhea answered.
A do of over a thousand spirits appeared around him just as the ninth lightning bolt fell.
BANG!
A loud bang resounded across the Trollspire Dungeon and beyond it as the lightning bolt collided with the do of spirits.
Just as it looked like the spirit do was going to be pierced through by the black lightning bolt, the do of spirits suddenly beca elastic, and it shot the tribulation lightning upwards.
Before the tribulation lightning could travel far, the spirit do suddenly lengthened and flew upwards. In the blink of an eye, it surrounded the tribulation lightning and trapped it into a sphere.
For a mont, the tribulation cloud went silent and so did the world, almost like it was stunned and in full disbelief at what had just happened.
The black lightning bolt that was trapped inside the sphere of spirits also seed to be stunned, but in the next second, it started thrashing about in the sphere, wanting to destroy it to pieces.
However, it failed.
Although with each movent of the black lightning bolt, so spirits were destroyed, new spirits appeared in place of the destroyed spirits, making the spirit sphere to be stable.
When Corey saw this, a light of relief flashed in his eyes along with a light smile.
"Bring it to , Rhea."
The spirit sphere slowly fell towards Corey, and then it hovered beside him. His left to be exact.
"Slowly release it."
Corey said, and Rhea replied.
Strands of black lightning shot out from the spirit sphere and rged with the dense cluster of lightning that was revolving around Corey.
Corey grinned when he saw this, and then he looked up. His bloodied violet-blue eyes stared at the heavens with a triumphant light shining bright in his eyes.
"The last! Bring it! And make STRONGER!"
The heavens and the world was silent for a mont, but in the next mont, the heavens attacked without any prior warning.
BANG!!!
Corey's expression remained the sa despite the level of destruction the tenth lightning bolt brought upon the Trollspire Dungeon.
Just its re descent created a shockwave that destroyed every mountain that was in the dungeon.
Although Corey failed to track the lightning bolt because of how fast it was, he was not bothered.
Why?
Because he had a plan.
HUMMM!
A loud hum echoed in the Trollspire Dungeon, and just as the tenth lightning bolt was at arm's length from touching Corey, a revolving black hole suddenly appeared above him.
The tenth lightning bolt collided into the revolving black hole, and it was slowly being sucked into it.
Corey's grin widened when he saw this, and he could not help but laugh out loud.
"It worked!"
Corey's gaze remained on the black hole and the tenth lightning bolt that was trying to escape the black hole, but it was failing.
With every second, the lightning bolt was getting smaller and smaller, and in less than ten seconds, it completely vanished.
What was left behind was a revolving black hole that was continuously spewing out black lightning.
Corey smiled, and then he raised his palm at the black hole.
"Co."
He said, and the black hole slowly fell to his right.
Corey looked at it, and with a thought, the black hole began releasing strands of black lightning into the dense cluster of black lightning that was around him, just like the spirit sphere.
Corey nodded with appreciation when he saw this, but three seconds later, he frowned.
The Tribulation clouds was still in the sky.
'Wait... Don't tell .'
Corey's eyes widened as a frightening thought ca to his mind. Before he could ponder on this thought...
An eleventh lightning bolt fell.
