Corey's gaze shifted from Gallan and his friends to the Tribulation above, and despite feeling a pressure that was a hundred tis worse than what Gallan and his friends faced.
If not for how powerful his body was, the pressure was more than enough to turn him or a Tier 6 into a pile of bloody paste.
With how calm his expression was, most would think that the Tribulation ant absolutely nothing to him, but deep in his eyes was an extrely solemn light that had only appeared in rare cases like when he was fighting the Powers of the Shattered Dinsion of the Old Ones.
To the majority and those without extrely unique senses, it might seem like this Tribulation was far more deadly than a Supre Tribulation due to its appearance and pressure, Corey knew that this was wrong and also right at the sa ti.
The Supre Tribulations he faced in the past were not as powerful as the current Tribulation because the alchemical products he concocted were low level.
However, if he had allowed the Tribulation to co close to him or if he had allowed it to touch his body, what he would have gone through would be a million tis worse.
And this was not an exaggeration.
Because he was a Paragon, anything related to the Supres was extrely dangerous to him.
Normally, one was to survive a Tribulation and then absorb the energy from the Tribulation to go through so kind of evolution.
However, a Supre Tribulation was different. It was there to destroy.
This was why Corey tried to destroy the Supre Tribulation in the Underworld since he would gain nothing from it.
As for this Tribulation, he could not destroy it if he wanted to gain the benefits from it.
'I have to absorb the energy from the lightning.'
Corey thought as he looked at the raging black clouds above him.
He stretched out his hand, and summoned the Maledro's Gu into his body.
As he gazed at the Maledro's Gu entering his body, he nodded in satisfaction when he felt how powerful they had beco.
During his three year training and seclusion, one of the things he did was to send the Maledro's Gu to devour every monster in the Trollspire Dungeon.
The reason why he told the Maledro's Gu to devour every monster in the Trollspire Dungeon was because of one reason alone.
Annoyance.
On multiple occasions, monsters from the Trollspire Dungeon would enter the cave he was in either to investigate the dense amount of mana that was flowing into his cave, or they entered out of pure curiosity, or they entered out of pure coincidence.
In the beginning, Corey did not care and he always killed the monsters that entered his cave with a re thought.
His Phantom Plague Axe Heart Intent was more than enough to handle a bunch of Astral grade monsters and Tier 4 monsters.
However, when the rate at which monsters began disturbing his seclusion and training increased, Corey began to get annoyed and pissed.
Every ti he had to deal with the monsters was a mont of distraction and disturbance to his train and flow of thoughts.
And he hated this.
At first, he considered setting up an illusory and defensive formation around his cave, but after thinking about it for rely a second, he decided otherwise.
To him, it was better to use the monsters in the Trollspire Dungeon rather than just let them die to the Tribulation that would occur at the end of his seclusion.
Knowing that the Maledro's Gu would grow by attacking and devouring the monsters of the Trollspire Dungeon, he sent them out.
RUMBLE!
The sky rumbled loudly just as the last Maledro's Gu entered his body.
Corey looked at the sky, and he saw countless white lightning bolts streaking across the entire sky of the Trollspire Dungeon.
Just as he was waiting for the Tribulation to start, the color of the lightning bolts began to change.
The white lightning bolts began to crash into one another, causing shockwaves that travelled across the Trollspire Dungeon and beyond.
From white, they beca black. However, the black colour was not an ominous type of black, but like a night sky that was filled with stars.
Not only did the lightning bolts change colours, their numbers reduced but their size increased.
From over a hundred lightning bolts, they beca just ten thick black lightning bolts.
Corey's expression beca extrely solemn when he sensed the power behind each lightning bolt.
"Well, this might prove to be a problem."
The mont Corey said this, the sky rumbled loudly once again, and then a bright flash of dark light appeared in the Trollspire Dungeon.
Corey's eyes were temporarily blinded by this bright flash of light because it was much much brighter than he expected.
CLAP!
He heard the sound of a lightning bolt falling towards him, and the hair on his entire body instantly stood.
Danger flooded his entire being, and every part of his body wanted to move in response to this danger.
However, the lightning bolt was too fast.
In the blink of a Tier 6's eye, the lightning bolt was less than a ter away from striking Corey's head, and with the way Corey was stunned and unable to react to it, it looked like Corey was about to die before he could even defend himself.
However, just as the lightning bolt was about to strike Corey's head, a hum suddenly resounded in the Trollspire Dungeon, and the black lightning bolt suddenly swerved to the side.
In the blink of an eye, it hit a thick golden rod that was three tis as tall as a mango tree.
The runes on the golden rod lit up, and then streaks of black lightning travelled from the golden rod to other golden rods that were close to it.
And this continued until the black lightning travelled across the entire Trollspire Dungeon, revealing over a hundred golden rods that had been placed all over the Trollspire Dungeon.
