"So it's you."
Corey's expression and gaze was extrely calm as he stared at Tessa Liora.
He was not surprised by her appearance because he had seen her through his Eyes of Omniscience.
He stood on top of the Black Sea with his hands in his pocket, an invisible platform of hexagon barriers beneath his feet, and a black short sleeve unbuttoned shirt.
His mixed black-white hair fluttered as a heavy gust of wind blew across the Black Sea along with roaring waves in the distance and a dark cloud mixed with remnant traces of lightning flashing in the sky.
Corey's pure white eyes reflected the image of Tessa Liora standing in the sky with a curious and suspicious gaze in her golden reptilian eyes.
His gaze moved from Tessa's eyes to the long, curved black horns on her head, her short violet hair, and then to the two swords that were in her hands.
'Her eyes are invoking a strange feeling in my Void Phoenix Heart... It's like... My Void Phoenix Heart is irritated by the aura of the eyes... Is it a dragon's eyes?'
Corey furrowed his brows slightly in thought as he observed and analyzed Tessa Liora who was also doing the sa to him.
'Her horns... Are they the horns of dragons or demons?... I've never seen a dragon before, and her horns seem different from the other horns... Its aura is also strange.'
'And those swords... They're dangerous... They're similar to my Demonic Sabers... I have to be careful with them.'
Corey furrowed his brows deeper as he gazed at the two swords.
The two swords had black handles, but on the blade of one sword were black runes. The runes were unlike anything he had ever seen, and he could not decipher the runes at all because he possessed no knowledge of the runes.
As for the other sword, it had no runes. To others, the sword would look like a normal longsword, but in Corey's Eyes of Omniscience, he saw sothing else.
Connected to the head of the handle was a tattoo of a black chain that was coiled up to the shoulder of Tessa.
The black chain tattoo was constantly moving, and Corey did not know why, but he had a bad feeling from the tattoo of black chains.
Aside from her golden reptilian eyes, black horns, and two swords, Corey was also intrigued by sothing he noticed.
Tessa's thod of flight.
When one beca a Tier 4 and a Mystic Being, they gained the ability to manipulate the mana around them to fly.
However, Corey could see that Tessa was not manipulating the mana around her to fly. She was using a strange thod, and this thod was extrely baffling to Corey.
'It's like the world is being ordered by her to make her fly?... Can that be possible?'
Just as Corey had this thought, he suddenly thought of an ability of his that was sowhat similar to what he was seeing from Tessa.
Intent.
'But that's not intent... It's like... a variant of Intent.'
Corey's intrigue was piqued, and he wished to study this power of Tessa.
But... he knew that was for the future.
Through his Eyes of Omniscience, he had been observing the entire island and the battlefield, and he was truly shocked by the destruction he could see from above.
While taking the sight of the destruction on the Black Sea, he was also searching for traces of Pala, Rosa, Divine, Kiefer, Selene, Lydia, the Terror Queen, and young Calista.
After seeing the scale of destruction on the island and the Black Sea, a part of him was sothing expecting to see the corpse of one of his allies.
Although Pala was powerful, he was sure that even for her, fighting a lot of Tier 6s while defending other people was not sothing that was going to be easy for her.
Fortunately for him, he saw no remains or charred corpses of his allies.
'They most likely escaped then... That's good.'
Just as Corey had this thought, he heard a chuckle from Tessa, and he focused on her.
His gaze had always been on her, but his attention was not entirely on her.
"You seem indifferent to my presence and gaze."
Corey raised a brow in amusent, "I've faced the presence and gaze of more terrifying beings."
The corner of Tessa's lips curled up slightly into a smile of mockery and disdain the mont she heard Corey's words.
"Do you an the Tier 6s you've faced before? Or is it the Powers? Or the Throne you were lucky to survive against?"
Corey's expression remained indifferent and calm, but the light of amusent could be seen in his gaze as he stared at Tessa.
"What does it matter? Are you here to just talk to ? Cause if you are, I'm sorry but I don't have ti... Maybe later. Hmm?"
Tessa's lips curled up the more slightly, "You know... I saw you when you were escaping from us after you summoned a Supre Tribulation."
Corey's eyes flashed with a hidden light of surprise, but he said nothing in response to her words.
"I would have stopped you back then, but it seed like I would have been forced to attend more boring etings if they captured you back then, so I chose to remain silent."
"I wouldn't be surprised if sobody else noticed you though. Your illusion ability is very good. Very, very, very good actually... But those who have unique eyes like mine would be able to notice your illusion."
Corey tilted his head slightly, and with an expression that almost seed... bored, he spoke.
"Once again, are you here to just talk? Or you actually have business with ?"
"What was that coffin and what was in the coffin?"
"What coffin?"
The mont Tessa asked about the coffin, Corey tilted his head and spoke with a baffled tone and expression.
Tessa remained silent, and her smile slowly vanished from her face.
"It seems I'll have to use force."
The mont Tessa said these words, Corey's pupils constricted.
