From the mont the notifications from the Universal System appeared in front of him and the mont he completed his main thoughts, only three seconds had passed.
Once again, the uniqueness of his mind was showcasing its imnse prowess as it allowed Corey to process countless thoughts at a speed that would put majority of the Mystic Beings in existence to sha.
Corey looked around, and the first thing he did was to make sure Divine who was on his shoulder, Rosa, Kiefer, Selene, and the rest were not hurt because of everything going on.
He could see their shaken and stunned expressions as they stared at the translucent screens before them, and when Corey saw this, he shifted his attention to his surroundings.
After Jeremy used the golden orb to initiate a Universal System upgrade on Planet New Earth, the forces of the Underworld, Demons, and Outsiders all charged at him with the intent to kill him as quickly as possible.
But they were too slow.
Jeremy had gone back on his word to negotiate with them, and instead chose to use violence against them.
Corey and his allies were at the center, so the three armies had no choice but to cross Corey and the rest.
So ignored Corey and instead focused on Jeremy. Those who made this decision were the ones that knew the consequences they would face if the Universal System should be upgraded in their planet.
Their focus was wholly on Jeremy.
As for those who were either ignorant or didn't care, they tried to attack Corey and the rest, but with Corey's Phantom Plague Axe Heart Intent which was more lethal in the chaos because of its concealnt ability, Corey was able to either kill or cut off an arm or a leg of anybody that tried to touch him or his allies.
After the golden flash and notifications of the system upgrade, Corey noticed that the three forces who were regarded to as Invaders were facing a severe suppression.
To his disbelief, every invader had their tiers reduced by two Tiers.
Which ant that the Tier 6s were now Tier 4s, the Tier 5s were now Tier 3s, the Tier 4s were now Tier 2s, the Tier 3s were now Tier 1s, and the Tier 2s were now Tier 0s.
Such a reduction in Tier was so frightening to the point that even Corey had a chill.
Mystic Beings becoming Astral Beings.
And Astral Beings becoming mortals.
Corey never knew that such a thing would be possible, and when he saw the horror and despair on the faces of the demons, Outsiders, Chosens, and Underworld officials, he could not help but feel a tinge of sympathy for them.
He watched as the Tier 6s fell to the ground due to the sudden reduction in their tiers, and with expressions of horror, they looked at Jeremy who was less than a hundred ters from the nearest fallen Tier 6.
"NEW-EARTHLINGS!!!"
"I TOLD YOU THAT IF YOU FOLLOW , WE'LL DEFEAT THE EVIL UNDERWORLD WHO HAS BEEN KIDNAPPING MANY OF US FOR YEARS, THE DEMONS WHO THREATEN OUR HOS, AND THE INVADERS WHO SEE US AS NOTHING BUT LIVESTOCK!"
"I TOLD YOU THAT IF YOU FOLLOW , I'LL LEAD YOU TO VICTORY!"
"IF YOU FOLLOW ! YOU'LL GET TO RELEASE YOUR ANGER ON OUR ENEMIES!"
"IF YOU FOLLOW ! YOU'LL GET TO PROTECT YOUR FRIENDS, FAMILIES, AND LOVED ONES!"
"IF YOU FOLLOW ! I'LL ALWAYS LEAD YOU TO VICTORY!"
"WE ARE NEW EARTHLINGS! AND THIS IS OUR HO! THIS IS OUR LAND! THIS IS OUR WORLD!"
"AND NOBODY! I AN NOBODY!!! IS GOING TO TAKE OUR HOS FROM US AS LONG AS I'M HERE!"
"NEW EARTHLINGS... KIIIIILLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!"
"RAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!"
Corey watched with wide eyes as the army of New Earthlings ran with rage, bloodlust, and imnse battle intent.
The Demons, Outsiders, and Underworld officials trembled and they struggled to defend themselves against the onslaught of the New-Earthlings.
The sudden decrease in their Tiers did not only make them weaker, it also made them to be unable to react properly to attacks they would have otherwise reacted to.
They were not used to their weak stats, and compared to the New-Earthlings who faced no Tier suppression, and who were used to their stats, they were at a massive disadvantage.
Although it just looked like Corey was looking around while standing in one place, one look at the bloody and dead one ter zone around him was enough for everybody to know that death was certain for anybody that dared to step into his zone.
'This is madness and doesn't make any sense.'
Corey tilted his head slightly as he continued to watch the battle and slaughter that was going on around him.
Although most would say that there was nothing wrong with the invaders not being able to fight back and win against the New-Earthlings because of the Universal System's suppression, Corey felt it still didn't make any sense.
Why?
Because the demons, Underworld officials, and Outsiders had items and weapons that could turn the tide.
He was certain that they had such items, but none of them had used it.
To him, it almost felt like they were so consud by fear and uncertainty to the point that they forgot about their items and weapons.
'Is a Child of Heaven this terrifying?... The ability to subtly shift things into one's favour and ss with sobody's mind without them knowing?'
'No wonder Nina warned about them.'
Corey furrowed his brows slightly, and then his pure white eyes glowed as he looked for a certain individual.
'There she is.'
"Don't resist."
Corey sent a whisper through his Breath of Omniscience, and with a thought, Corey stretched out his right hand which pulsed with Void Force and a second later, Pala appeared in front of him.
Although she was still in chains.
Corey looked at her. 'I would have preferred to teleport to her side instead of using Void Force, but I still can't teleport.'
Corey frowned heavily as the feeling of not being able to teleport left a bad taste in his mouth.
However, he shrugged it off and focused on Pala instead.
Just as he was about to talk, three things happened.
Pala spoke, "Fakes! So of the Chosens are fakes! Especially the Chosens of the Empires and Kingdoms."
Multiple Tier 6 auras appeared above them.
He then felt a massive amount of luck move through the world.
And then, he felt an itch in his left arm along with a sound he had not heard for a completely long ti.
