It all happened way too fast.
From the mont the golden orb appeared, every fiber of Corey's being shivered out of shock, disbelief, wariness, and battle intent as he felt the distinctive aura of a Supre.
Corey had never encountered a Supre in the flesh before, but his bloodline instinctively knew the aura of a Supre.
And the aura he was perceiving was so potent and strong to the point that it sent shivers down his spine.
'What's that? And why the fuck does Jeremy have an object that's related to a Supre?'
Corey had a million other questions running through his mind like,
What had Jeremy ant when he said 'Initiate Universal System upgrade'?
Was that what the golden orb was used for?
Where did Jeremy get the golden orb from?
And what was his connection to the Supres?
Corey had so many chains of questions to the point that he needed an entire Star of Consciousness to process all these chanin of questions.
Although he was frozen in shock due to the sudden appearance of the golden orb, the other forces were not the sa.
Unlike Corey, they knew about the golden orb and what it was. And because they knew what it was, their reactions were vastly different from Corey's.
It was precisely because of the golden orb they were so hesitant in attacking Jeremy.
The golden orb had many nas, but it was commonly referred to as The Codex Seed.
In the entire universe, a lot is not yet known about the Codex Seed, but what people knew about this 'supre' item was that it could influence the Universal System.
Codex Seeds are usually found in worlds, most especially Blessed Worlds, and when used on a world, it would basically make the world to have more attention and benefits from the Universal System.
The effects a Codex Seed could have on worlds could be different, but one thing that was constant whenever a Codex Seed was used on a world, was that the world would gain the favour of the Universal System.
However, how was this detrintal to the Outsiders, Demons, and Underworld officials?
The answer was simple.
They were not of this world and by the laws of the Universal System, they should not be on this world at all... Especially with their power levels.
New Earth was already a Blessed World, which ant that the Universal System already favoured their world.
Entering New Earth, and everything they did in the newly blessed world, had to remain hidden from the eyes of the Universal System.
They had violated so many laws of the Universal System, and once the Universal System noticed this, they would either die at the hands of the Universal System or they would face a ruthless suppression from the Universal System and New Earth itself.
"Initiate Universal System upgrade."
Jeremy's calm voice drifted across the island, and despite nurous Tier 6s, Tier 5s, and countless Tier 4s coming at him, his expression remained calm and determined.
CRACK
A crack resounded across not only the entire island, but the entire world itself.
A crack could be seen on the Codex Seed, and then a golden beam of light shot out from the golden orb, pushing back the approaching Tier 6s and Tier 5s with imnse force.
Corey felt a familiar but different aura, and he looked up.
He saw a familiar but at the sa ti, different looking eye erge in the sky.
The eye was extrely similar to the Supres Tribulation Eye but it also had its differences.
First of all, the iris of the eye was gold, and the aura of annihilation and death was not present in this eye.
Instead, this eye emitted an aura of protection and security.
However, despite all these differences, Corey could still sense the aura of a Supre from the eye.
He subconsciously used his Breath of Omniscience to completely hide himself, his aura, and if possible his entire existence.
Although Corey was not certain if the eye would be able to sense his Paragon aura but he didn't want to take any chances.
He was still a mortal, a Tier 3 mortal. There was no way he was going to risk his life against a Supre of unknown strength.
Corey watched with bated breath, not even bothering to look at the armies of the four forces that had surrounded them as they tried to tear Jeremy to pieces.
Although his attention was on the Supre Eye above, a part of his consciousness was still focused on his surroundings, making sure that no demon, Outsider, or Underworld official tried to kidnap or kill Kiefer, Rosa, Divine, or any other person due to the chaos.
A golden light suddenly flashed from the Supre Eyes, and Corey felt sothing deep within him connect with sothing entirely far away but at the sa ti completely close to him.
He frowned.
Just as he was about to delve into everything that was going on, his translucent screen flashed before him, and Corey glanced at it, subconsciously knowing that whatever was on the translucent screen was related to the Supre Eye.
