"If he wants to et , he should co here."

The instant Corey said these words, the expressions of Jamal and the remaining mbers of the Devourers changed.

They looked at Corey with expressions full of disbelief and shock.

Never in their life has they heard sobody disregard the order of their leader so blatantly and with such disregard.

Sure, there have been so arrogant Tier 4s and even Tier 5s who tried to be arrogant with their leader, but at the end of the day, they found themselves in the stomach of their leader.

Although they knew that Corey was a demonically talented mortal, they could not still fathom how a Tier 3 could so casually and indifferently disregard the invitation of a powerful Tier 5 like their boss.

Corey could accurately guess the thoughts of Jamal and the remaining mbers of the Devourers, but he cared not for their thoughts.

Corey had imnse confidence in himself, and he was a hundred percent certain that those who had stats and skills like his were extrely few in his Universe.

One thing that Corey noticed about himself especially after killing Savage so easily, was that he was becoming arrogant and was beginning to look down on anybody that did not make his spine tingle.

He was beginning to look down on Tier 4s and even so Tier 5s because of his combat prowess, and he knew that this was bad for him.

If he continued like this without care, a day might co where a Tier 3 or sobody that was at the sa tier as him, would stand before him and face him.

The chances of him subconsciously looking down on the Tier 3 would be extrely high, and before he knew it, he might lose his life if the Tier 3 was as talented as him or was almost as talented as him.

Corey could have decided to follow Jamal without making a fuss because he was confident that even if there was a trap laid out for him, he would be able to escape it with his abilities.

But why should he take the risk when he could tell the leader of the Devourers to et him instead?

He had no reason to et Prince.

Instead, it was Prince that wanted to et him and most likely needed him.

'He wanted my Master to work for him because of Neon.'

'But now that my Master is dead and I'm his student, he most likely wants to et because of Neon.'

Corey shifted his gaze away from Jamal, and looked at the ground. He let go of the hand of the Tier 4 he had been holding from the beginning, and then he looked around.

He could see that the bodies of all the Devourers he had chained with the skill Noxious Chains were starting to show signs of poisoning.

The chained Devourers were trembling, their skins were turning pale and growths were beginning to appear on their skin. Their breaths were also growing shallow with every second that went by.

Noxious Chains was not just a normal crowd control skills or a restraining skill that rely stopped his opponent's from moving.

It also caused damage to the restrained individual, and the longer a person was chained, the more damage was done to the individual.

Asides from the fact that the skill Noxious Chains was practically a dense amount of spectral chains that not only restrained an individual but hard the individual, another frightening ability of Noxious Chains was the fact that with a high enough mastery, the user of the skill can determine the poison he wanted to infuse into the body of the restrained target.

The user had to have the knowledge of the poison and his/her poisonous mana must also contain the poison for it to affect the restrained individual.

After the death of his master, Corey had begun deepening his knowledge on poisons, and inside his Perceptual Nexus of Repository, he had assigned Chucky to constantly create various types of poisons for him to absorb into his body.

He already knew so much about poisons that could affect Tier 0s, Tier 1s, Tier 2s, Tier 3s, Tier 4s, and even Tier 5s.

With his knowledge and the amount of poison he had absorbed into his body, he was able to easily create Noxious Chains that not only damaged the bodies of the restrained Devourers, but also weakened them and sapped them of their energy the longer they were chained.

Corey snapped his fingers, and then a wooden chair appeared in front of him.

He sat on it, crossed his legs, and then looked at Jamal with an indifferent expression.

"So? Are you going to tell your boss to et here or what?"

Corey raised his brows with a provocative smile, and then he gestured at the chained Devourers closest to him.

"Oh, and don't take too long to co to a decision or you might lose over ten valuable Tier 4s."

Thick black veins appeared all over his face as he stared at Corey with dense killing intent all over his body.

Corey raised his brows even more with a more provocative smile when he sensed Jamal's killing intent.

His killing intent was a lot but it had lacked a certain sort of quality to it, and Corey instantly knew what it was.

His killing intent was built on the foundation of mostly killing people that were weaker than him, and this made his killing intent to lack a certain sort of quality to it.

Corey leaned into his chair with a nonchalant expression, and then he began tapping the armrest of his chair.

'If Master were here, he'd slap for playing with fire.'

A slight grin appeared on Corey's lips, and then he looked at Jamal.

"I'm waiting... Jamal."

Jamal gritted his teeth, and then he raised his right hand. His fingers turned to claws in the blink of an eye, not just ordinary claws, but tallic-like claws that radiated with a sharpness that sent shivers down Corey's skin.

Lightning flashed and twisted around his claws and knuckles like serpents, and the mont Corey saw this, he instantly changed his posture and his eyes turned pure white.

However, before he could move, he sensed sothing and looked to his right.

Just as Jamal was about to move, a voice sliced through the tension like a blade through silk.

"That's enough, Jamal."

The air trembled.

Everyone turned.

From the shadow of a nearby tree, a man erged- no, not just a man, a presence.

Corey's gaze sharpened, and his mana, mind, and body beca prid for battle.

Black leather boots crushed the dry leaves without a sound. His coat swayed with unnatural grace, and golden chains dripped from his wrists like symbols of bondage and royalty. A bone-white mask covered half of his face, and one eye glowed with a sickly red light.

Corey knew, without needing a na.

Prince.

The leader of the Devourers had co.

And he was smiling.
