"That's enough."
As this words echoed in the Amphitheatre, Corey turned towards the voice with the sa small but broken smile on his lips.
His pure white eyes landed on a familiar figure. The figure wore a black and red robe and in his right hand was a magic staff with a green magical orb on top of the staff. He had blood-red hair, a handso face. He also wore a pair of glasses.
On the figure's neck was a tattoo of a red demonic goat skull.
"You might not know , Smile Reaper, but my na is Orpheus. I'm the second in command of the Legion of Nightmares."
As Orpheus announced himself, Corey's gaze shifted towards the three n that stood behind Orpheus.
They were also mbers from the Legion of Nightmares, and Corey knew that they were Tier 4s. However, Orpheus was a Tier 5 which ant absolutely nothing to Corey.
"I know that what happened is unfortunate, and I apologize on his behalf. But you shouldn't do sothing as foolish as killing him."
Corey's brows rose slightly when he heard this, and his gaze moved to certain seats in the Amphitheatre. He could sense several auras that had targeted him and were prepared to attack him depending on his next actions.
"Release the Master's younger brother and we'll pay you handsoly for the unfortunate death that just occurred."
Corey tilted his head to the side without a change in his expression, and then he glanced at Lyam, whose neck was in his right hand.
Corey's expression never changed and so did his smile.
He shifted his gaze towards Orpheus, and then he released Lyam's neck.
A pleased smile appeared on Orpheus lips when he saw this, and he nodded slightly. "Good. It seems you have-"
Crack!
"Arrrggghhhh!!!"
"..."
Orpheus' expression froze, and then his eyes widened slightly in disbelief when he saw Corey's right leg on Lyam's left leg.
"What are you doing?!"
Orpheus shouted but the only response he received from Corey was another loud crack!
"Arrrgghhhh!!!!"
Lyam's scream resounded in the Amphitheatre, and Orpheus shouted.
"Are you insane?! Do you know what you're doing?!"
Despite Orpheus words, Corey did not stop what he was doing. His gaze never left Orpheus, but his legs moved from Lyam's right leg to his right elbow.
What was extrely strange to Orpheus was that Corey never for once used force to break Lyam's legs. He did not slam his leg on Lyam's legs, instead he just calmly placed his leg on Lyam's legs and he would hear a crack from Orpheus legs which would then be followed by Lyam's screams.
Orpheus could not fathom how it was possible for Corey to shatter Lyam's legs by just placing his leg on them.
Another thing that bothered him was that the reaction from Lyam was extre for just a broken leg. Lyam had undergone several painful experiences, and a broken leg or two should not cause such a reaction from him.
However, his reaction was extre. Tears, sweat, bloodied eyes, and blood dripped down from his face, eyes, and nose.
Although Orpheus had no idea how it was possible for Corey to break Lyam's legs by just placing his leg on them, the answer to this were just two skills.
Vibration Manipulation and Painful Echo.
The mont Orpheus saw that Corey's next target were Lyam's arms, Orpheus knew he had to stop Corey no matter what.
Orpheus had not a single bit of care towards Lyam. In fact, a part of him wanted Lyam to die, but he knew that if such a thing occurred, his leader's rage would be unfathomable.
He feared the leader of the Legion of Nightmares, and he knew he had to do his best to make sure that the one person his leader cared for was alive. No matter how annoying and frustrating Lyam was.
"Go! Stop him! Quickly!"
Orpheus shouted at three mbers of the Legion of Nightmares behind him, and in the next second, they dashed towards Corey while utilizing the best movent skills they had.
Due to him being a Tier 5, Orpheus was faster than the three, and in the blink of a Tier 1's eye, he appeared before Corey.
"Get off him!"
Orpheus swung his staff at Corey's chest. Although he wished to kill Corey, he knew that he could not because of the imnse interest that several elite organizations had towards Corey.
He was certain that he would not live to see tomorrow if he killed Corey, so his plan was to send Corey far away.
Clang!
"Huh?"
A loud clang resounded in the Amphitheatre, and Orpheus' hands shook as his magic staff collided with a shield made of hexagons.
'What is this? Where did it co from? It wasn't there before, so where did it co from?'
The gears in Orpheus' mind spun as he regained his balance and stared at the hexagon barrier in front of him. The three other mbers of the Legion of Nightmares dashed towards the hexagon barrier, and without wasting a single second, they all unleashed their skills on the barrier.
BANG!
BOOM!
BOOM!
Three extrely loud explosions resounded in the Amphitheatre. The sandy grounds of the arena trembled, and a large dust cloud filled the entire arena.
Orpheus coughed multiple tis while also covering his eyes, and then he looked in Corey's direction.
'Is he dead?'
'That was three attacks from three Tier 4s. Even if he's talented, he's just a Tier 3. The difference between Tier 4 and Tier 3 is extrely vast, so he should be dead.'
"ARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!"
A second after Orpheus had these thoughts, Lyam's cry of pain echoed in the Amphitheatre, and Orpheus cursed out loud.
"Shit."
He released his mystic energy to blow away the dust cloud, but the mont he did, he wished he didn't.
The first thing he noticed was that the three other mbers of the Legion of Nightmares were now dead.
Growths and pus that oozed out blood and yellowish green liquid pulsed. A murky whitish foam poured out from their lips, and their bodies were constantly twitching.
The mont Orpheus saw this, his expression drastically changed.
"Poison."
Orpheus' eyes instantly shifted towards Corey, and his eyes widened in disbelief when he saw that Corey's hexagon barrier was still in one piece.
Although Orpheus was shocked by this, when he saw the condition of Lyam, his heart skipped a beat.
His two arms looked fine on the outside, but Orpheus could see at a glance that they were shattered beyond repair.
However, that was not all.
Corey's hands were on Lyam's mouth, and with the sa smile that Corey had from the mont he stored Old Man Poison's corpse, Corey spoke.
"Since he liked smiling a lot and I'm called Smile Reaper, I think it's better he died with a smile."
Without waiting for a response from Orpheus, Corey pulled Lyam's mouth horizontally and to Orpheus and the audience horror, Corey ripped Orpheus' mouth in two.
That was not all though.
Corey grabbed his tongue and pulled it out from his mouth.
That was not all though.
Corey transferred his mana into Lyam's body and overloaded his manhood with his mana, causing it to explode.
That was not all though.
Corey later pierced Lyam's chest and pulled out his heart, and then he showed it to Orpheus and the crowd.
"Now, I think we can talk about the price you'll have to pay for killing my Master."
