As Corey gazed at the sword that was pierced deep into the black tallic rock, he tilted his head to the side and muttered with an unsure tone.
'That's the Omniweapon Infinity Crystal?'
He shifted his gaze to the swirling portal, and a surprised light flashed in his eyes.

Corey looked around with a slightly baffled expression, and when he did, he realized that he had ignored his surroundings because all his attention was strangely on the portal and the Omniweapon Infinity Crystal.
He realized that he was no longer on a golden step but on a black ground that was strangely made out of earth and a strange tal. There was nothing else around him, only the portal, the Omniweapon Infinity Crystal, and the golden light that had always been surrounding the Stairs of Ascension.
Corey used two seconds to observe his surroundings, and as he did, his gaze sharpened when he realized sothing else.
'My Eyes of Omniscience has been forcibly deactivated, and my mind is more sluggish than it usually is. My thought process is not as fast and sharp as it usually is.'
Corey frowned deeply, and then he tried to activate his Eyes of Omniscience, but to his surprise he failed in activating it.
'This is a first. My Eyes of Dreams and Nightmares are still active but what of my Tri-Pupil Eyes?'
A pondering light flashed in Corey's eyes, and then he tried to activate his Tri-Pupil Eyes. A relieved light flashed in his eyes when his Tri-Pupil Eyes activated.
'So it's only my Eyes of Omniscience I cannot use. But why?'
Although Corey was curious about the answer to this question, he knew he could not get the answer anyti soon.
He approached the Omniweapon Infinity Crystal, and as he did, he could feel a certain emotion emanating from the Omniweapon Infinity Crystal as he approached it.
'Relief and desire?' Corey frowned, 'Why am I perceiving relief and desire from the Omniweapon Infinity Crystal? No Infinity Crystal has ever emitted emotions to before.'
'Does it have a consciousness? Or is it because it has an Intent and a Will? Or is it because it's not an elental Infinity Crystal?'
Corey stood in front of the Omniweapon Infinity Crystal, and he realized that he was not imagining things. He could actually feel emotions from the Omniweapon Infinity Crystal.
Corey furrowed his brows.
'I don't sense any danger from it. My instincts are not warning of any danger, but with the lack of my Eyes of Omniscience, I can't see anything that might be hidden.'
'I don't know what will happen if I try to pull out the 'sword' from the strange tallic rock… I might die… I might not die… The Omniweapon Infinity Crystal might try to kill … And it might not… I might be undoing the seal of the sealed Supre in the Shattered Dinsion… And I might not… I might cause an irreversible change to the Stairs of Ascension… and I might not… Nothing might happen and I might just be overthinking things.'
Corey suddenly recalled the results of the divination Dave perford, 'A crumbling stairs huh? Most likely the Stairs of Ascension would crumble if I take out the Omniweapon Infinity Crystal.'
Corey's light flashed with a calculating for a second, and then he placed his right hand on the hilt of the sword and pulled it out of the black tallic rock like a knife being pulled out of butter.
HOWL!
A howl of joy and relief resounded in Corey's mind, and at first Corey was curious and wary as to what would happen, when he saw that the Omniweapon Infinity Crystal was not trying to attack him in any way possible, he was relieved.
He brought the sword closer to him, and then he observed it. The sword looked like an ordinary sword, its blade was pure silver with no inscriptions on it, and its handle was just pure black with no aesthetic or runes on it.
It looked like an ordinary and average-looking sword, but Corey knew that this was an Infinity Crystal.
Corey shifted his gaze to the black tallic rock, and although he had no idea what it was, he was sure that it was extrely special.
'It seed like it was used to seal the Omniweapon Infinity Crystal… Anything that is able to seal an Infinity Crystal is priceless.'
Corey touched the black tallic rock, and then the two golden triangles in his eyes rotated. A second later, the black tallic stone vanished.
Corey's eyes brightened with delight when he saw this, 'It worked!'
Just as Corey had this thought, a voice drifted into his ears from behind him.
"So you're the rat."
A chill went through Corey's spine, body, and soul, and before his mind could even comprehend what was going on, his body was already moving.
It was the fastest response and reflex Corey had ever experienced, and just as his mind caught up to what had just occurred, a hand caught his neck and he could no longer move.
"I don't know how you escaped the formation barrier, how you were able to reach this place, and most importantly, how you were able to pull out that sword. But what I do know is that you're not leaving this place until I've excavated all your secrets… and then I'll kill you."
The hand around his neck tightened, and Corey groaned due to the imnse power behind the hand. He knew that if the owner of the hand wanted, he could snap his neck with very little effort.
'The Throne?'
Corey thought with a pained expression as he gazed at the Throne which was vastly different from the last ti he saw him, or to be more precise, it.
Although Corey would love to take in every detail of the appearance of the Throne, his instincts was telling him that he needed to do sothing as soon as possible, or he'd regret it for the rest of his life.
"Although I'm angry, annoyed, and curious as to how you achieved all that you achieved, I'm also grateful and filled with joy. I have not been able to pull out that… 'sword' despite trying so hard. So, you have my thanks."
A benevolent grin appeared on the Throne's face, and then he reached for the Omniweapon Infinity Crystal in Corey's hands.
Corey saw this, and although his mana and body refused to listen to him because of a strange force the Throne was pouring into his body, his Tri-Pupil Eyes could still function properly.
The two golden triangles in his eyes rotated, and then the sword vanished just as the Throne was about to touch it.
The Throne froze for a second in disbelief and confusion, and then his head snapped towards Corey with so much force and speed that it shook the air.
"WHAT DID YOU DO?!"
Corey groaned as he felt so bones in his neck crack, but despite this, he rely smiled at the Throne. He wanted to speak, but with how tight the Throne was holding his neck, it was a futile effort.
A translucent axe appeared directly beside his neck, and to the disbelief and shock of the Throne, the translucent axe swung at Corey's neck and Corey's head flew with a smile.
The Throne's eyes widened and he was frozen in shock as he held the neck of Corey's headless body. His gaze shifted from Corey's body to his head, and after using all his senses, he realized that he was not dreaming or seeing things.
Corey was dead, and he had killed himself.
The face of the Throne slowly twisted into a rage, and then, he roared with imnse fury as the Stairs of Ascension crumbled.
"ARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"
