Old Man Poison and lissa had shocked expressions as their eyes and mouths were opened wide in disbelief at the sight of Corey's death.

Old Man Poison took a step forward and was about to dash towards Corey's corpse, but then a voice that strongly resembled Corey's, but was in so incomprehensible way, different from Corey's voice resounded across the realm above the eternal waterfall.

"Paragon Martial Arts; Cosmos Cleave"

A massive flaming arc that caused feelings of inferiority in the hearts of Old Man Poison and lissa appeared before Vaerina.

Vaerina had wide eyes as she quickly turned to her back. Her light blue and completely black eyes reflected the image of a panting Corey who had at so point appeared behind her back.

Confusion flashed in her eyes as she stared at Corey, but in less than two seconds, Vaerina had an expression of realization.

She turned towards the Corey she had killed, and just as she expected, the Corey was dissipating into a fog.

"An illusion."

She mumbled softly, and despite the fact that Corey's attack was less than a ter from touching her, Vaerina had a calm and nonchalant expression. Stay tuned to My Virtual Library Empire

A second later, it was shown why.

A transparent barrier of pristinely clear water appeared between the flaming arc and Vaerina.

Screech

The sound of two tals grinding against one another resounded across her realm of imprisonnt. A dense fog ford due to the collision of the transparent water barrier and the arc of flas.

Vaerina's expression was extrely calm and indifferent as Corey's axe tried to break through her defences. She shifted her gaze from the collision to Corey, and when she saw Corey's cold but confident eyes, Vaerina furrowed her brows slightly.

Crack!

A loud crack resounded in her ears, and Vaerina's eyes widened in disbelief and shock. Her head snapped towards her barrier, and when she saw a large crack appear on her barrier, Vaerina doubted her eyes for a mont.

Her gaze shifted to the flaming arc of energy, and after observing it for a few seconds, she noticed so peculiarities about it.

A baffled light flashed in her eyes, and she could not help but mutter. "It feels just like… his… attack."

As the crack on her water barrier increased, the size of the arc of flaming energy reduced. Just as the flaming arc was about to vanish, countless glowing hexagon barriers appeared around her, and the instant Vaerina felt the energy emanating from the hexagon barriers, she felt a tinge of danger from the hexagon barriers.

Before she could react, the hexagon barriers exploded.

BOOOM!

A massive shockwave shook the realm, and the glassy sea rippled endlessly as bright blue flas engulfed the figure of Vaerina.

With his Eyes of Omniscience, he could see through the explosion and the dense smoke that had ford as a result.

Without waiting for the smoke to reduce, he dashed into the thick smoke with a cold but determined expression. His main goal which was to destroy the invisible barrier that Vaerina had around her was completed, and the last part of his plan had to be executed at lightning-quick efficiency.

The instant Corey dashed into the dense smoke, three water spears flew at him with a speed he could barely react to. However, he had already anticipated such an attack before entering the thick smoke surrounding Vaerina.

Flash Step

Lightning sparks appeared around his feet, and then his body flashed to the side. Although he reacted quickly, a deep cut on his arm showed just how fast the attacks had been.

Corey did not stop, and changing from Flash Step to Lightning Step allowed him to approach Vaerina quickly.

Despite detonating his hexagon barriers which had absorbed the energy from Vaerina's previous attacks, the Queen of the Shattered Sea remained unhard.

The only thing that was no more was her barrier… and this was enough for Corey.

As Corey approached Vaerina who was calmly floating in the air, he suddenly disappeared and appeared in front of her with his axe swinging down.

However, Vaerina scoffed, and then she ignored the Corey in front of her and swung her fair right hand behind her.

Clang!

Vaerina's fair right hand which was now holding a water sword blocked Corey's axe which appeared behind her. The Corey that appeared in front of her dissipated into a fog, and as Vaerina stared at Corey with calm, indifferent, but rage filled eyes, she could not speak with a tone of disdain.

"Did you really think the sa trick was going to work on again?"

Corey smiled, "No."

"Get ready, Master!"

Vaerina frowned, but then Corey's pure white eyes receded and his Tri-Pupil Eyes appeared in its place in less than a second.

Vaerina's eyes widened when she saw this, but before she could react, Corey's eyes glowed and his Master took his place.

"?!?!?!"

Vaerina had a stunned expression, but Old Man Poison did not waste a single second. Although he was shocked as to how he was suddenly in front of the Queen of the Shattered Sea, he knew of an opportunity when he saw it.

He raised his right hand, and then he raised his staff which now had a pointed edge. Around the pointed edge was a black liquid that coiled around the edge like a snake.

Old Man Poison threw the staff, and the pointed edge went straight for Vaerina's right eye.

The distance between the staff and the pointed edge was too short for Vaerina to dodge or summon a barrier to protect her, and Old Man Poison knew this.

As he remained in his throwing posture, he saw the distance between his staff and Vaerina's eye reduce, but when the distance was less than an inch, Vaerina unleashed her aura and chaotic energy.

Because of this, the staff was blown away along with Old Man Poison, but the mont this happened, Old Man Poison vanished and Corey took his place.

Using his already pre-ford wind elental rune to manipulate the wind to bring his Master's staff towards him, Corey grabbed it, and with a cold voice and cold pure white eyes, he said,

"You need to hit the gym more, Master."

BANG!

It all happened in less than two seconds, and because of the consequences of Vaerina unleashing her aura and chaotic energy, she could not react on ti.

The staff flew so fast towards the Queen of the Shattered Sea that it developed cracks, however, it did the job and pierced into Vaerina's skull.

Vaerina's head snapped to the back with so much force that it seed like her neck was going to snap in two, but she was a Power and no matter how strong Corey was, he was still a Tier 2.

Neither Corey, lissa, nor Old Man Poison thought that with a staff inside her skull, she would be dead.

Absolutely not.

Killing a Power or a Tier 6 was not so easy.

However, what the trio were relying on was the poison on the staff. Both Corey and lissa had no idea what the poison was ant to do, but four seconds later, they saw Vaerina's entire body twitch and then she lost control.
