Corey could see various types of weapons flying at him. He could see swords, spears, axes, daggers, glaives, halberds, tridents, and even a greatsword flying at him.
'Damn.'
Corey's eyes widened in disbelief as the thousands of weapons flew at him at a speed that all Corey saw was a blur as the weapons approached him.
Countless hexagon shields appeared in midair, attempting to delay the descent of the water weapons even by a millisecond. The barriers shattered and then reford the next second, trying to delay as many weapons as possible.
Corey's pupils moved so fast that it almost seed like it was vibrating intensely in his eyes. The glow in his eyes brightened, and blood slowly dripped from the corner of his eyes.
'So of them are illusions and not fake.'
Corey thought after analyzing the water weapons and the most probable weapons that would cause him grievous injuries.
His Genesis Armant in his right hand glowed brightly and emitted a low Thrum!
His right hand moved, and then he swung at the first water spear before him.
Clang!
Unlike what one would expect, the sound of two tals clashing together resounded across the realm, showing that the water weapons were as hard as water and could not be taken lightly.
Corey knew this before his Genesis Armant clashed with the first spear, so he never took it lightly. He parried the water spear to the side, and in less than a decisecond, a water sword appeared to his left and a water trident appeared to his right.
The water sword's goal was evident, to pierce his left eye. anwhile, the water trident's path led to his right shoulder, fully intent on blowing a hole through his shoulder.
Corey swung his axe in an arc, successfully deflecting the two weapons. As he was swinging, the fingers on his left hand moved, and the mont he was done swinging his axe, a similar sized axe appeared in his left hand.
However, this axe was not made out of tal but of stone. It was a large stone axe.
Runic Transmutation.
Corey had used Runic Transmutation to weave runes that would transform the wind around him and water droplets of the water weapons he had deflected into a large stone axe. The stone axe was fine and smooth, and its blades were sharp enough to cut off the head of a Tier 3 human with ease.
If Pala were here, she would applaud Corey for being able to manipulate the runes around him to produce the large stone axe.
There was a reason why Corey had never used Runic Transmutation to produce an elental weapon in his fight against the Capra King, and that was because 99.999999% of the elents in the Capra King's realm were the earth elent.
Attempting to transmute a weapon of another elent would be incomparably more difficult and it would also drain Corey of fifty percent (50%) of his mana if he had used the skill to transmute a weapon that was not of the earth elent in the Capra King's realm.
It was the sa thing in the Raging Sky when he was fighting Aethara. The lightning elent was the dominant elent in the Raging Sky. Although, he never planned on transmuting a weapon against Aethara because he didn't need it.
As for why he used Runic Transmutation at the mont, that was because he had two infinity crystals in him, and he had improved his proficiency in the skill.

Runic Transmutation (Expert → Master)
-----
Although transmuting the large stone axe had taken a lot of his mana despite the improvent in his skill proficiency, it was barely up to 5% of his total mana pool.
When he only had the Poison Infinity Crystal, he had a mana pool that was comparable to elite Tier 4s and average Tier 5s. But after fusing with the Earth Infinity Crystal, his mana was comparable to that of elite Tier 7s and weak Tier 8s.
Even so Paragons and Supres without an Infinity Crystal in them would not have such an amount of mana. This was the result of him having two Infinity Crystals as a Tier 2.
With two axes that were of similar length, width, and weight, Corey swung his arms, deflecting every single water weapon that was real and ignoring every water weapon that was not real.
His arms beca as fast as a blur, and the sounds of constant clanging of tals resounded across the realm above the eternal waterfall. Shockwaves were produced as a result of the collision of weapons, but despite these shockwaves and the power in each of Corey's strikes and Vaerina's attacks, the glassy sea only rippled.
Not a single scratch or damage could be seen on it.

"I can't believe he's able to last this long. Was my disciple always this strong?"
Old Man Poison spoke with his voice containing visible shock, awe, happiness, and also nervousness.
In front of him were countless test tubes, conical flasks, a cauldron that was on top of a large burner, several flasks, transparent bottles, forceps, and several other equipnt that one could see in a lab.
He sat on the floor while lissa stood beside him, her expression was also one of surprise and disbelief as she watched Corey withstand Vaerina's relentless assault.
'I doubt even Divine knows he's this strong.' lissa thought with waves in her heart.
Old Man Poison sighed, causing lissa to glance at him. "He's hidden his powers and abilities well, but for whatever reason, he's exposed them in this Shattered Dinsion… The Underworld Officials and those Outsiders would know that he's an anomaly, and they'll either want to use him or kill him."
Old Man Poison's gaze changed to one of worry and sadness as he shifted his gaze from Corey to the bubbling cauldron in front of him.
"I just hope my foolish and unfilial disciple knows what he's doing… I don't think my old heart could take it if I lose another disciple."
lissa remained silent for so seconds, and then she said. "By the way, what are you making?"
Old Man Poison glanced at her with raised brows, "I'm Old Man Poison, a Poison Master, what else am I going to be making if it's not poison?"
lissa's expression remained the sa, and then she glanced at the bubbling cauldron.
Old Man Poison sighed, "I just need four more minutes, and then we'll need to find a way to inject it into her."
lissa raised her brows, and then she glanced at Corey. "Do you think he can last up to four minutes?"
Old Man Poison remained silent for three seconds, and then he replied with uncertainty. "...Hopefully."
Although they were shocked that Corey who was just a re Tier 2 was able to hold his own against a Power who was comparable to a Tier 6, they knew that if Vaerina decided to get serious, there was no way Corey would survive.
Not only would Corey not survive, they would also not survive.
'Make sure you survive boy. You brought this old man into this ss, and you must make sure you take out of this ss with your bloody life intact.' Old Man Poison thought with a solemn expression, and then he opened a vial that contained a black liquid in it.
He poured the liquid into the cauldron, and his gaze flashed with a tinge of excitent as he stared at the trembling cauldron.
'Survive boy. Make sure you survive.'
