After realising that the Paragon Ancestor had sohow found a way to avoid telling him why he allowed Pala to see his status window, Corey cursed the Paragon Ancestor inwardly with gritted teeth.
'Damn that old man. He shifted my attention and mind to sothing else entirely, and I completely forgot to ask the most important question.'
Although Corey had this thought, and it seed like he was angry, he himself knew that he was not angry in the slightest.
The only thing that was on his mind was the words spoken by the Paragon Ancestor and the hazy outline of the eye that appeared above him and the Paragon Ancestor.
He was not certain, but Corey had a feeling that the eye that was about to appear belonged to the Supre Ancestor, the All-Father.
'It should only be the Supre Ancestor that would make the Paragon Ancestor leave this place even if he was here as an Avatar.'
Corey stroked his small beard with a pondering expression, and so seconds later, he released a soft sigh and looked around.
From the mont he was forcefully teleported away from the Raging Sky and appeared in this strange land, Corey knew that his environnt was strange and unique, but the absence of danger and the rage he had towards Nina made him ignore the environnt.
All around him were tall trees that were made out of crystals of various colours. For a mont, Corey was amazed by the sight of so many colourful crystalline trees around him, but after a few seconds, he shook his head.
He took another look at the crystalline trees and then at the ground. When he did, his eyes widened slightly when he realized that the ground was made of a crystal with various constantly changing colours.
"Where am I?... Am I still in the shattered dinsion because how can this mad dinsion possess such a beautiful place?"
Corey muttered with a baffled expression. Although he had the desire to explore and inspect the crystalline trees and ground, he knew had to do sothing first of all.
"I'm sorry Nina."
If Divine or Old Man Poison were here to see Corey's expression and hear his tone, their eyes would widen in sheer disbelief because Corey's expression was not one of indifference or apathy, it was a sincere expression of regret.
"I'm sorry for calling you a bitch, Nina… And I'm also sorry for all that I said."
As Corey sincerely apologized to Nina, a part of him felt strange because he could not rember the last ti he sincerely apologized to another individual.
He was not the type of person who was too proud to say sorry. Instead, for as long as he could rember, he had never had a reason to sincerely apologize to another individual because he always tried his best to not have a reason to apologize.
As for why Corey was sincerely apologizing to Nina, it was not only because he knew he had said so hurtful words to her.
Absolutely not.
The main reason was that he was afraid of what Nina would do to him if he did not apologize.
'Even the Paragon Ancestor advised to apologize to her or I'd definitely regret it in the future.'
'She's literally in and on my body. Who knows how she might take revenge on for everything I said.'
'Worst case scenario… I die or get tortured for a long ti.'
Corey exhaled a turbid breath and waited for a reply from Nina. However, despite waiting for a full minute, Nina did not say a word, and Corey was beginning to get slightly worried.
"Are you not going to say sothing? I already apologized."
Corey spoke out loud with a slightly baffled and nervous voice. He waited for ten more seconds, and just as he was about to speak once again, Nina's voice resounded in his mind.
{I reject your apology.}
Corey blinked in disbelief and surprise, and he could not help but mutter, "What?"
{I said I reject your apology.}
Nina's indifferent voice resounded in his mind, and Corey was stunned.
"Why? I was sincere with my apology."
{I don't care. The re fact that you didn't believe in or that you believed I'll betray you for no fucking reason is vexing.}
Corey's lips twitched slightly, and he could not help but sigh.
"I'm really sorry for what I said during my outburst. It's just that losing so pathetically to Pala in battle, and failing to obtain the Lightning Infinity Crystal really frustrated and angry."
"I'm sorry for not believing in you Nina."
Nina went silent for a few seconds, and then an indifferent but soft voice flowed through Corey's mind.
{A thousand chocolate along with a thousand strawberry-flavoured ice cream and I'll forgive you.}
{No, wait, make it ten thousand chocolate and ten thousand strawberry-flavoured ice cream, then I'll forgive you.}
Corey's mouth was wide open and his expression froze in sheer disbelief the instant he heard Nina's words.
"Where and how in the world do you expect to get ten thousand chocolate and ten thousand strawberry-flavoured ice cream?"
{I don't know. That's your problem, not mine… Just know that if you don't get it, I won't forgive you.}
Corey chuckled with a wry smile, and then he released a soft sigh.
'I guess Nina likes chocolates and ice cream… Is she a sweet tooth?... But how can a Nanobot be a sweet tooth? How will she eat the chocolate and ice cream?... How does she even look like?'
Corey was curious as these questions and several other questions appeared in his mind. A soft chuckle escaped his lips when he realized that a being like Nina who was related to one of the most powerful beings in reality was a sweet tooth.
'I wonder if she'd like the chocolate and ice cream of our world… Wait…'
Corey's eyes widened as a certain thought ca to his mind the instant he had this thought.
'Is there also chocolate and ice cream in the Paragon Realm?'
Corey's eyes flashed with a mixture of curiosity, confusion, and excitent as he thought of this question that was not useful to him in any way or form.
However, just as he was about to get lost in his thoughts and hypothesis, Nina's voice flowed into his mind.
