The mont of impact was blinding. A massive explosion of light and energy erupted from the collision, and the shockwave flattened everything in its radius.

The sound was deafening, it was similar to a thunderclap so imnse it seed to silence the world in its aftermath.

For a mont, there was nothing but the blinding light and the searing heat of the explosion. Then, the light began to fade, revealing the battlefield once more.

Shards of Zal'Zerael's Imperium barrier fell like snow, the dark clouds and lightning was beginning to dissipate, and a dark and clear sky could be seen in so parts above.

As for the ground, the sea of liquid lightning was no more, and only a completely shattered and destroyed ground could be seen.

Pala stood on the ground at the centre of the devastation, her body battered and broken, and her spear was embedded in the ground before her.

Her breathing was extrely heavy and rough, her vision was blurry, and the trendous pain she felt forced her to her knees. Although she wanted to stay on her feet, she just could not.

Her infinity-marked silver eyes receded, and so did her primal suit of arcane armour and the runes on her skin. However, her imnse beauty remained the sa. Massive amounts of steam poured out from her body, and blood continuously fell from her eyes, nose, mouth, and arms.

Pala had the urge to release a scream, but she just gritted her teeth with a pained but determined expression.

She inhaled and exhaled deeply, and then she looked around. The first thing her gaze landed on was Zal'Zerael's corpse.

The great draconic abomination lay crumpled on the ground, its massive body cracked and broken, and its previously glowing eyes were now dark and lifeless.

When Pala saw the corpse of Zal'Zerael, she released a sigh of relief, though it was obvious that she struggled to release the sigh.

"I won." She said with a tiny and soft voice, and then she released another soft sigh of relief.

She frowned as she struggled to look up, and the sight of the crumbling Imperium was a chaotic scene that also had so beauty to it.

"...I… almost died for real."

Pala mumbled softly, and then she recalled the events of her battle against Zal'Zerael.

The first mont where she almost died was when Zal'Zerael wanted to devour her after she killed Raegar.

Despite the fact that her Gaze of The Seraph was activated and her senses were also working properly, she had failed to notice the presence of Zal'Zerael, and she was imnsely shaken by the sneak attack.

Her Gaze of The Seraph allowed her to see multiple things. For example, the mana in the air, the runes of the world, the different energies around her, the make-up of an energy attack or a non-physical ability, and a 360-degree visual acuity of what was going on in a radius of thirty ters around her.

Her Gaze of The Seraph also had so other abilities which she could not yet access because of her realm, but with it, sneaking up on her when it was activated was extrely difficult, but Zal'Zerael had done so.

However, after fighting Zal'Zerael, she ca to realize that the reason Zal'Zerael had been able to sneak attack her.

Shockingly, Zal'Zerael had been slumbering in the storm, and due to its nature and the fact that it had been slumbering in the storm for years, the storm and the majority of the runes of the storm beca eerily similar to the runes that made up of Zal'Zerael.

Because of this, she was not able to notice another presence in the stormy sky of Raging Sky.

In fact, as Pala gazed at the sky, she had a wild guess that it was Zal'Zerael's presence that made the Raging Sky extrely dangerous.

'Will the Raging Sky vanish or will it remain the sa or will it beco less dangerous since I killed Zal'Zerael?'

Pal wondered for a mont, but then she coughed out a mouthful of steaming hot blood. The mont the blood touched the ground, a sizzling sound could be heard, and a wry smile escaped her lips when she saw this.

"I… truly almost died."

Another reason why her fight against Zal'Zerael was extrely difficult for her was because the runes that made Zal'Zerael's existence was too complex for her to understand. It was almost like Zal'Zerael was of a higher existence compared to her, and her current realm and understanding did not allow her to understand its existential runes.

The only other individual that had given her such problems was Corey, and when Pala compared Corey's existential runes to Zal'Zerael's existential runes, she was not really surprised when she realized that Corey's was more complex than Zal'Zerael's, but she was surprised when she realized that there were two similarities in the existential runes of both Corey and Zal'Zerael.

She had no idea what these two existential runes were since she could not understand them, but they were extrely complex and difficult even for her to understand.

'They're just similar, they're not the sa. They have subtle differences.' Pala with a calculating glint in her eyes, and then she glanced at her destroyed arms.

When she did, she recalled the last clash between her and the annihilation lightning that Zal'Zerael unleashed as his final attack.

The main reason why she had been able to survive was because she sacrificed so of her life span to strengthen the golden flas, Heavens Judgent.

Heavens Judgent was a skill that summoned golden flas that were said to be from the heavens. The golden flas consud so much mana that even with her infinite mana, she always felt a massive reduction of her mana.

However, there was another way to strengthen Heavens Judgent, and that was to sacrifice her life span to it.

If she had not done that, she would have died, and the black lightning would have completely killed her.

"Would my spear throw and Zal'Zerael's black lightning be able to kill a Tier 8?... I wonder how powerful a Tier 8 is actually."

Pala muttered softly, and then she spoke with a soft sigh.

"Do you want to kill … Corey?"
