As Pala smiled, Zal'Zerael saw her smile and frowned. "You still dare to smile in my presence?"

Pala's smile widened, and a soft chuckle escaped her lips. "Well, the thing is… The larger the target, the easier it is to hit. And, the bigger they are, the harder they fall."

"Your words are utter nonsense."

Zal'Zerael's voice rumbled across its domain. It flapped its seemingly infinite wings of the storm, and Pala had no choice but to cover her eyes with her arm.

"I admit that of all the battles I've fought and all the enemies I've killed, you are one of the toughest… But… this is as far as you go."

The lightning in the sky rumbled, and the hundred beings of the storm surrounding Zal'Zerael took a step forward.

Pala stood amidst the chaos and the pressure she felt on her body got stronger. A lightning bolt struck a hundred ters to her right, and a powerful shockwave slamd into her body along with arcs of electricity that threatened to injure her.

Blood dripped from the corner of her mouth, and her silver eyes glowed faintly as she wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth.

The once playful smirk on her face faded, replaced by a look of calm determination. The mana and runes in her body surged and moved at a slowly rising speed.

She could feel the heat of her body rising and her mana surging uncontrollably as the runes whispered warnings in her mind.

Zal'Zerael's glowing eyes narrowed when he noticed the strange condition of Pala's body.

"I don't know what you're planning, but it would never work."

"The number of runes you can control and manipulate in my domain is minimal, and I can assure you that I can shatter them in less than thirty seconds."

"Although your energy seems infinite, I can assure you that I can never run out of energy, and I keep my Imperium active for an extrely long ti."

"You cannot control the runes. Your seemingly infinite mana is also useless against … The only way you can get out of this situation is if you also have an Imperium. But I genuinely doubt you have one since you'd have used it a long ti ago if you did."

"Just like you did to , I'll also do to you… Surrender now, beco my slave, and bear my offspring. Although you're a human, a female like you is worthy to bear my offspring… This is an opportunity many females would die for… Choose wisely."

Zal'Zerael's voice thundered throughout the Imperium and in Pala's ears.

The gaze in Pala's eyes changed the mont she heard Zal'Zerael's words. She tilted her head, and her lips curved into a faint smile.

"You know what little Zal… I don't think I want you as my mount anymore… I think I'd prefer seeing your corpse instead."

Pala spoke with an indifferent and cold tone as she gazed into the eyes of Zal'Zerael.

She raised her right hand, and the runes around her began to shift. Runic symbols coiled around her body, their glowing forms moving like living serpents. The temperature around her skyrocketed, and the air shimred with heat as arcs of energy surged across her skin.

Zal'Zerael growled, and the storm above intensified as it sensed the shift in Pala's aura. "What are you doing?"

Pala's silver eyes locked onto the draconic abomination's glowing gaze. "Isn't it obvious… I said I prefer seeing your corpse… And I'm going to make it happen."

The mont Pala said these words, her body began to change.

"Since I can't manipulate the runes of your Imperium easily, I'll just use the runes around to strengthen myself… Since runes and magic aren't going to make win, I'll just go with the old-fashioned brute force."

As Pala spoke, the runes coiling around her fused with her skin, their glowing forms embedding themselves into her arms, legs, and face.

Her simple, tattered clothes disintegrated, replaced by glowing patterns of light and energy that ford an elegant yet primal suit of arcane armour.

Her hair, once tied back and unassuming, now flowed freely, its strands glowing faintly with an iridescent light.

And her face…

Her appearance had always been average, deliberately understated, but now, she radiated an otherwordly beauty. Her infinity-marked silver eyes burned with an intensity that could shatter the will of gods, and her features beca so striking, so perfect, that even the storm seed to falter in her presence.

Zal'Zerael stared with slightly wide eyes, its massive fra visibly tense for the first ti since its battle with Pala.

The draconic abomination's glowing eyes flickered as it sensed Pala's dangerous, unstable, and extrely powerful aura and its voice carried an edge of unease.

"What… are you?"

Pala chuckled softly, her voice rich and lodic. "The baddest bitch in the universe."

Without waiting for a response, her aura exploded outward, and the shockwave tore through the sea of liquid lightning, forcing Zal'Zerael to brace itself. The runes on her body pulsed rhythmically, each one feeding her strength as she clenched her fists.

And then she moved.

BOOOOOM!

Pala vanished in a blur of motion faster than even the lightning strikes rained down from the storm. She reappeared directly in front of Zal'Zerael's massive fra, dodging the army of the beings of the storm, with her fist already mid-swing.

"Rune Amplification: Thunderbreaker!"

Her punch connected with the dragon's chest, and the impact was catastrophic. A thunderous boom echoed across the battlefield as Zal'Zerael's massive body was hurled backwards.

'WHAT?!'

Zal'Zerael exclaid internally as he flew and crashed into the ground with enough force to shatter mountains.

A second after it crashed into the ground, it roared in fury while flaring its wings as it tried to recover, but Pala was already on the move.

She darted around its massive form, her movents were so fast that even Zal'Zerael's glowing eyes struggled to track her. As for the constructs of the storm that previously surrounded Zal'Zerael, they were all blown away due to the massive shockwave that was produced as a result of Pala's punch and with every movent that Pala made.

BOOOOM!

BANG!

BANG!

Pala landed more punches on the colossal draconic abomination's body. Each strike she landed was precise and devastating, cracking Zal'Zerael's proud obsidian-like fra and sending arcs of energy rippling through its body.

"Impossible!" Zal'Zerael roared, its voice laced with both anger and disbelief. "How can you possess such strength?! It's not what sobody of your level and realm should possess no matter what. There is always a limit to one's strength!"

Pala skidded to a stop a dozen ters away, her body radiating heat as the runes on her skin glowed brighter. "I've said it before, I'm H-E-R, and the motherfucking baddest bitch in the universe."

Pala smiled widely. She extended her hand, and a glowing weapon began to materialize in her grip. The runes whispered in her ears, their voices urgent as they warned her of the condition of her body as a weapon took shape.
