"What were those flas?"
Despite the coldness and indifference on Aethara's face as she spoke, Corey could faintly sense a tinge of fear and confusion emanating from her aura.
A confused light flashed in his eyes when he thought back to her inhuman shriek and reaction after he burnt her crimson vines with his Dreamfire.
When the crimson vines attempted to take his Genesis Armant from him, he followed his instincts and chose to use Dreamfire on the crimson vines because they were plants.
Fire burnt plants right?
Even though he did this, a part of him expected his Dreamfire to be shrugged off and ignored because of the power difference between them. At best, he thought the crimson vines which seed to have a mind of their own would leave his axe out of instinct.
However, Aethara's reaction was not what he expected at all.
'I guess there are so things I still don't know about Dreamfire… I need to find an opportunity to go to the Land of Dreams and Nightmares after I leave the Underworld… Well, if I'm able to leave the Underworld.'
Corey remained silent for a few seconds, staring at Aethara, whose expression was still one of coldness and indifference.
"Those flas are…"
Corey deliberately paused with a light smile, and the mont he did, Aethara's expression changed.
The wind behind her beca turbulent and an electric current ran through the air along with the rumbling of a soft thunder.
Aethara was about to turn and react to the attack behind her, but then Corey did sothing shaless which she never expected in her life.
He jumped and hugged her legs, effectively stopping her from moving.
"!!!"
Aethara's eyes widened in disbelief, and she looked down with eyes that contained imnse disbelief at Corey's actions which were nothing short of shaless, embarrassing, and non-warrior-like.
BAM!
A solid and powerful kick landed on her face, and she would have flown if not for Corey who was hugging her legs. Because of this, she staggered, and then Corey released a low shout as he pushed onto the ground.

The instant Aethara fell on the ground, a dust cloud was produced but Corey did not let such a chance go to waste.
Knowing that he did not have ti to waste, he moved towards the stunned Aethara. However, the instant he tried to get close to her, four crimson vines on her moved toward him in an attempt to stop him.
Fortunately, their speed was not comparable to the first ti that Aethara used her vines, and he was able to react on ti.
He held the two vines that were targeting his vital area while allowing the remaining two to pierce his body. Blood poured out of his mouth when the vines pierced his body, and he coughed out a mouthful of black blood.
However, despite this, there was no expression of pain or fear in his eyes, only pure coldness and indifference.
"SELENE!"
Corey roared, and the instant he did, Selene dashed into the dust cloud with a sword in her hand.
The instant Selene appeared, more crimson vines on her body attempted to move, but Corey instantly used Dreamfire.
A mixture of azure, silver, and violet fla engulfed Aethara, and the instant Aethara was engulfed by this fla, a louder and more inhuman shriek escaped Aethara's lips.
AAAAIIIIEEEEEHHHHKKKKIIIIIII!!!!!!
Corey groaned due to how loud Aethara's shriek was, but a second later, her shriek was disrupted.
PUCHI
The sound of flesh tearing apart flowed into Corey's ears, and a relieved light flashed in his eyes as he saw a sword piercing Aethara's throat.
Aethara's eyes were wide with disbelief as she stared at the hilt of the sword that was in her throat. Dark gray blood poured out from her mouth, and she struggled to speak.
"I-I… I…"
Corey slowly stood with a slight groan while clutching the right side of his body, and Selene walked to his side with her eyes not leaving the sight of Aethara.
They both watched as Aethara struggled to speak with copious amounts of blood pouring out from her mouth and neck, the blood almost covering the ground beneath her.
"I…"
Aethara struggled to speak once again, and when Corey saw Aethara struggling to raise his hands towards the sword, a cold light flashed in his eyes, and then he stretched out his left hand.
A translucent hand spread out from his hand, and a second later, his axe flew towards him at an extrely fast speed.
The instant Corey held his Genesis Armant, he ran towards Aethara despite his injury, and then he swung his axe towards her neck.

Corey instantly activated all these skills, and then he swung his neck at her neck.
THRUM!
Corey's axe howled and reverberated across the air as he swung his axe toward Aethara's neck, the lower part of her neck where Selene's sword had not penetrated.
WHOOSH!
THRUM!
Corey's axe howled once again, and Aethara's head flew as Corey's axe cut off her head and a long and slightly deep cut could be seen on the ground.
Aethara's head flew and then it landed with a thud and rolled for a few seconds before coming to a stop.
Corey exhaled and inhaled heavily as he stood with his axe by his side. He glanced at Aethara's severed head, and then a sense of weakness hit him and he staggered.
Just as his knees were about to hit the floor, he used his axe to support himself, and then he slowly sat on the ground.
He groaned, and then he coughed out another mouthful of black blood.
He knew that he was gravely injured, not only because of Aethara's vines which had pumped more rot into his body, but he had also used a lot of skills at once, and this placed more strain on his already injured body.
"Are you okay, Master?"
Selene's voice drifted into his ears, and then he looked at her briefly. He saw her walking towards him with a worried expression on her face, and he nodded,
"I'll be fine."
He replied with a calm tone, and then he shifted his gaze into the distance. His deep violet and sky blue eyes showed the figures of Pala and Raegar in battle.
'I can't see their conditions very well from here… Hopefully, she's winning.'
Corey thought with slightly furrowed brows, and then he shifted his gaze toward his injuries. Although his Stars of Consciousness were using Dream Healing to heal his injuries with the best efficiency possible, the rate at which his injuries were healing was too slow.
He was worried that he'd have to join in the fight against Raegar in the instance that Pala was not able to defeat him.
'I hope I won't have to fight him… I don't want to expose any more of my abilities… I can already imagine the attention I'll be getting from those watching in the Underworld.'
"MASTERRR!!!"

Just as Corey had this thought, Selene's extrely loud shout shook his ears and mind, and he snapped his head toward Selene's location.
However, when he did, his eyes shook when he saw Selene standing in front of him with multiple crimson vines piercing right through her body.
'What?'
Corey's pupils shook, and he snapped his head towards Aethara's headless corpse. The instant his gaze landed on Aethara's corpse, his eyes widened in sheer shock and disbelief when he saw crimson vines stretch out from Aethara's corpse to her head.
His eyes moved to her head, and he instantly jerked backward when he saw Aethara's head staring at him with her familiar piercing gold eyes.
To Corey's disbelief, shock, and horror, Aethara's mouth moved.
"You should have gone for the heart or burned with your flas."
